The moment we stepped trough the elevator doors and were at the top of the building where the restaurant is located at my wife and I knew that this is something special. The restaurant itself is located on the shopping street called Mariahilfer Straße in Vienna, where all your shopping needs will be met and then some. As for the restaurant, the prices are the same as in any Akakiko, which is to say fair in regard to the quality and quantity you get. The menu is packed full of different Japanese cuisine, from great sushi to ramen and so much more. And the view oh my goodness, the view on the balcony is beautiful, you can see the whole city from the top. You mostly do not need a reservation, unless you want to sit right next to the glass railing overlooking the city, those seats are mostly reserved. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this restaurant if you have the chance and are visiting Vienna.

Although the place and atmosphere was Very beautiful the food was not above average. It was something like eating in a fast food or aomething similar. The prices werr above average

Worst dining experience in Vienna. Overpriced , bad food, unrealistic pics in menu. Check pics of expectation and reality for 10.5 euro.. I was afraid to eat it 😰 Ramen.. almost without soup. More like watery wok.

Cool place for a dinner/lunch! 🫶🏻 My fav “Sake set 10” 🍣 and fried rice with chicken and vegetables are always top 🍚💛 Terrace has a fantastic city view 🌇 To get a best place make a reservation in advance 💫

Beautifully atmosphere with a standalone piano. Great color selection and a very nice seating choice. The staff was super helpful and polite. Good quality was as expected and their weekly menu choice really helps out during these times of inflation 😄🙏

The food was so great. We really enjoyed it there. It was very fulfilling, and I would choose to go there for Thai cuisine again!

Very BAD experience and not for the first time, pity I have to give one star… I was there today with a friend, we waited more than 20 minutes for someone to come over to ask for the orders even though the restaurant was empty. Finally came an extremely unfriendly blond girl, she was arrogant and disrespectful to my friend who doesn’t speak German. We order the same dish then waited 30 minutes for the food. Finally one order came but not for both, I waited another 25 minutes before canceling my order. I told them that is not professional when 2 people order the same food one to get his more than 25 minutes later, i told them I am here to eat with my friend, not alone. The reaction from the Personal was zero, we paid and left…..

Service was poor because of all the people, you get your food in 5 minutes and it’s also delicious!

We gladly return to this place every time we are in Vienna. The food is excellent, every dish we tried was creative, daring, delicious and memorable. The prices are also realistic, they do not go too high, they are in line with the offer. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Awesome location, the view from the terrace is amazing! Very friendly staff and super fast service! My favorite dish is the Gan Bian beef, highly recommend it! But the sushi and salads are delicious too and always very fresh!

The view at this restaurant is incredible! Especially in the summer. Food was great! Sake Set 10/10 Lemon Chicken 9/10 Dragon Roll 10/10 Chicken Gyoza alright! Leaving 4 stars cause the waiters were a bit all over the place.

Reserved a table 2 weeks ago for a group of 6. We were placed in the walkway near the stairs to the closed upstairs seating area. Every time we wanted to order, either ignored or apparently someone else was going to come (who never did). When we eventually ordered, the server was more concerned that the table hadn't been laid than taking our order, so it took even longer. Orders didn't arrive together. The food was OK, not very rich in flavour. Service was so poor, and therefore, it was all disappointing.

Great view, alright pricing, absolutely terrible service. Got ignored a few times, waited a lot, had to call the waiter 4 times to finally get to order.

While the food is really okay at akakiko, the service really depends on where you sit. We were unlucky last time and have been overseen several times. The place was more full than usual, and we were a party of 7. So, sucks for us, I guess. We spent almost 2 hours there, several things were just not brought because they forgot and even after reminding them the food never came. So all in all staff is friendly but but obviously not staffed well enough. Prices are okay.

Palvelua oli vaikea saada. Laskua täytyi mennä odottamaan tiskille jotta sai tarjoilijan pöytään tuomaan laskun. Ravintola oli siistin oloinen. Ruoka oli ihan hyvää.

Good food, relatively fair prices. The Oreo Cream Dream is excellent. If you seat on the tables facing the interior of the mall, and not the ones more inside the restaurant, service can be quite slow and infrequent.

Idk what part of this is maki crispy, but okay 😆 Other meals that we’ve tried so far are actually nice.

Amazingly good food! Also the view on the terrace is really beautiful. Prices are a bit higher but worth it

The food was great, and at reasonable prices. I was very surprised by the large portion size compared to sushi restaurants in the US. Service was super slow and difficult to get ahold of, though.

The chicken was served undercooked (pink inside) after having it sent back to cook again it was still pink and I was told that the cook says that it's ok like this (as it's been heated twice now). This was a quick deep fry - not a long roast in the oven. Other pieces of chicken were grey and stringy and obviously old. I got sick the day after ... coincidence?

The only star goes to the beautiful view of this restaurant. This review only applies to this specific restaurant (not Akakiko in general). Before I placed an order I asked the waiter whether or not the "Mandu noodles" contain milk as it was labeled vegetarian. The waiter told me that he doesn't know without making an effort to ask anyone in the kitchen. I went for it nonetheless since I've already eaten the same dish in other Akakiko restaurants and never noticed the "vegetarian label". The dish arrived within minutes and the Mandu were okay, however, the "fried" noodles were not warm and they were swimming in a sauce and absolutely tasteless. I told the waiter that the noodles are far from fried, apart from the fact that they were served lukewarm at best. He just took the plate, no apologies, nothing. So, do yourself a favor and just have a drink on the terrace but skip the food. I can recommend the Akakiko in the first district though - the quality of food is much better and the staff is also more competent.

All good, the starter (tuna sashimi) was great, sushi also quite ok.

The food is good (I had one of their veggie dishes with rice plus the avocado salad and apple gyoza) - it's not authentic of course because it's fusion kitchen but the quality was really good. In summer it's also amazing to sit on the terrace with an incredible view (but can be quite crowded!) All in all: can't complain!

It was a nice place but the lady looking after us was all around the place and we had to wave at her to get her attention to order or to pay. However dragon and teriyaki rolls were really delicious and full of flavours. It was rolled (cut) a little too big and was difficult to eat. But we've managed. Spring rolls were simple also nice and totally worth the price.

Very decent but the fish is frozen and not fresh at all so the pokebowl was gross... otherwise everything was good and the service was great. My boyfriend's soup was very bland too.
