The place is looking nice and pretends to have very good quality of food and ingredients for the dishes. However our visit was drastically disappointing: 1) Salad for 14.80 EUR with wrinkled and old cherry tomatoes. “Runny egg” was extremely cold right from the fridge 2) Avocado tost for 14.40€ was returned because of overripe, dark and bad looking pieces of avocado. Fresh avocado can be purchased in any supermarket for 1-3€. 3)Salmon toast for 14.80€ was just very ordinary in taste and poor in presentation for that price. But at least this is the only dish that we ate fully. Coffee was good. Our experience was far away from exceptions. Bad quality of ingredients is unacceptable for any place

Lovely place and very welcoming staff. It was crowded that day but I managed to secure a table. Their coffee was good and the almond butter croissant was delicious however very sweet to my taste.

Amazing cafe that serves delicious breakfast and great coffee. The Joseph’s signature breakfast offers a yummy variety of bread, butter, an egg, cream cheese, ham, hard cheese, honey and ham. Enough for 2!

The cafe has a clean interior. The service is relatively fast, depending on how busy they are, but so far has always been pleasant. The food is also tasty and brought out fast.

At first, I couldn't find this cafe because there was no big sign outside, even though the shop is located on the main road. The staff here was really friendly, and they had lots of cakes that looked tasty. I also enjoyed their coffee. Surprisingly, there were many people even early in the morning on a weekday, must be a popular shop!

A friend from Vienna recommended this lovely bakery which is situated in the center of Vienna. You have a bakery combined with a cafe. No reservations possible, small queue but no problem as it was inside. Waited around 15 mins (was there on a Sunday morning around 0930 in December) Super high ceilings with a wonderful lamp and interior. Great atmosphere and very bright. Kitchen is open and visible in the back. You get a nice huge menue with a lot of different delicious meals and drinks. Order a cappuccino with oat milk which came with a free tap water in a glass. My florentine was served within 10-15 minutes. It was very fresh Ann’s tasty. Super cozy with toilets in the basement. As dessert I ordered a vegan passionfruit tofu cheesecake. Never had something so tasty! Highly recommended. Make sure you have some time especially during peak times. You will not regret it!

I went here for breakfast. The only thing I really liked was the pastry that came with my breakfast. Everything else was underwhelming. The hard-boiled egg was raw inside and my matcha latte was pale and tasteless. Service was average, the waiter wasn't very friendly. Not sure if it's a cultural thing, but I was shocked when he gave me the bill and asked directly if I'll give him a tip 😅

Stunning! Quality food, great service and awesome atmosphere. We came for Sunday brunch with 8 picky family members.... It's rare that everyone loved everything. The team is on point and very attentive to the details. A lot of care has gone into developing this restaurant. We definitely recommend this place.... Infact we enjoyed so much I wrote this review will still at the breakfast table.

We could go on and on about this place! Freshly baked sourdough bread to die for. Amazing sandwiches, breakfast, brunch and great coffee. Top quality products that taste good. Any foodie would fall in love with this bakery!

Exceptional brunch spot in Vienna, the capital city of excellent brunch. This Joseph Brot café is exceeding most expectation, with the food, beverages, and their vibes. Their brunch offerings are very variety and tastes really good. They also sell a lot of to-go packages which worth-trying

Nice place for breakfast. High quality breads and great coffee! Great service. We had to wait a while for a table of 3, most tables are for 2, on a weekday, over a 30 minute wait. We really loved both the Benedict special with local fish and the Joseph breakfast with a selection of their great homemade breads.

Good bread and breakfast. Nice products in the shop. Beautiful interior. Only espresso based coffees. Why not a great filter coffee with beans from Coffee Collective too? Also: Why can’t I have a good croissant and a delicious Cafe Latte to sit in? It seems like only products from the menu can be eaten in the cafe. Pity! Very noisy space. No background music. Stressed waiters, because people don’t understand the concept.

Joseph Brot serves up a solid breakfast, especially if you’re into poached eggs and a good flat white. The place shines with its quality food and their friendly staff. The only downside is that the atmosphere is a bit bland. But if you’re here for the food and coffee, Joseph Brot definitely delivers on that front.

Fantastic brunch spot in the heart of Vienna. Nothing like freshly baked bread and butter to start the day! Coffee and baked goods to go and amazing service 💚

The food is good but very overpriced for what it is. The regular Joseph breakfast was a boiled egg, some butter and jam and a bread roll for €8.9. Otherwise was a nice brunch and the coffee is good. The place was very busy on a Sunday so expect to wait for a table.

The food is simply...amazing! I tried the Joseph breakfast plate which is a must here. One should try this one being hungry as it includes different kinds of cheese, ham (best one I've tried), boiled egg, and multiple bread choices, plus honey and apricot jam. One can start with the salty flavor and then jump to the sweet one back and forth. Place is warm and minimalistic, so one can enjoy the place while focusing on having a gorgeous breakfast. Definitely will come back on my next visit. Highly recommended.

Had tried the Joseph Brot in the center & absolutely love their breads. Had to visit the branch with sitting option & coffee. This one's much bigger, spacious, great space for coffee, conversations, working. Didn't get wifi though. The bread & pastry offerings are pretty good, so is the coffee with the house roast. Their staff is super kind & makes great recommendations from the menu. Definitely worth visiting!

Very tasty Benedict eggs and chai latte. The place is quite noisy with a lot of tables, we were seated immediately when we arrived. Nice waitresses brought us the food very quickly. We paid 15€ for Benedict eggs and about 5€ for chai latte. Overall I would recommend it.

Their Joseph Breakfast and the risotto was the highlight of our trip across Europe so far. Fresh, organic food cooked to perfection in order to bring out the best qualities of each ingredient. The honey was absolutely amazing and brought every element of the meal to a higher level. Drinks were equally delicious and complemented the meal well.

This is part of a small chain in Vienna and this seems to be one of the bigger ones. Very open and lots of light and wooden furniture create a Scandinavian feel. I had the yoghurt with granola and a coffee, both were beautifully presented and very tasty. Waitress was very friendly too. Seems to be a popular spot among locals and the price seemed to match that feeling - a bit overpriced.

Beautiful bakery & cafe. We had the eggs Benedict & eggs Florentine for breakfast. Amazing, 10/10! Perfectly poached eggs, fluffy & crispy English muffin & the airiest, tangy Hollandaise I have ever tasted. Make sure this place is on your list for breakfast or brunch if you are in Vienna. 😊

Sunday morning in bakery with style. Tables too close to each other. Overcrowded and laud. One cannot hear the table partner clearly. Interesing choice of breakfast. Unique menu. Taste was from okay to good. But the amount was surprisingly small. Especially considering the price. One marmelade was not sufficient. The 2nd needed to be ordered. The second breakfast entailed one peace of bread with Avocado. The taste was okay, just okay. The decorations was very nice. Cappuccino was excellent. Jasmin tea was very nice. The lemonade was just okay, actually a bit disappointing. In total, a bit too long waiting time. Really high prices vs. humble amount being served. Breakfast in average 15€. In total 42€ with cappuccino, tea and lemonade.

It was a really nice place for brunch. The waiter was super friendly. We had egg Benedict, kase breakfast and oatmeal bowl, everything was great. The sourdough bread also tasted nice from the bakery so we took that as well. Overall it was a nice experience and I recommend this place.

No kidding it was expensive. Their coffee was amazing, croissant came close and I got the salmon meal which was also good. I wish it has a side of bread but anyway. The main meal was pricy for sure.

We stumbled upon this place in search of a good and easy breakfast, and we were surprised to find such style and deliciousness. Food is homemade, organic/bio, portions small or big (depending on your needs), and everything tastes like grandma's kitchen. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. 10/5 stars!

This chain is definitely my favorite place to have a breakfast or a quick bite in Vienna. Their food often has unusual combination of tastes (like pasta with sage) and the quality of food is top-notch.

They served an apple juice in a cracked glass to my kid. I called their attention and the waitress barely apologized. Mediocre food quality and way too expensive.

One of the best bakeries in Vienna with 7 shops around .. Don’t miss their Viennese Pastries !!

We had a nice breakfast. Our drinks arrived quite fast but we had to wait really long before to have our croissants. Other than that, the place is beautiful.

A big ok. They DONT check Covid pass! The service is nice but they don’t see you and neither hear you. It always takes 10 min to catch someone’s attention It is a big hall, when crowded is impossible to hear your own thoughts! The food is good but really expensive. The coffee is the only thing that save this place.

Wow haha. Thats all I can say. They have the best Eggs Benedict ever. Its a great breakfast place (even for a date). U get great food and a nice environment. I would recommend getting freshly squeezed orange juice as well. They only have gluten free cakes though. Overall 8.5-9/10.
