This place is fantastic. Excellent loungers to sunbathe (although I wish they did fully recline), a pretty comprehensive bar and food menu (minus one star as no English translation), and a bloody freezing pool for a dip on the ground floor. Great music also played: not too loud but great for background. Mix of pop, rock and classics. Would defo return.

Great place by the river that has swimming pool, great food selection and a bar. What was interesting and surprising that that their food menu had a lot of Persian food in it l. We tried 3 different items and were impressed by all!

A great spot in the center of Vienna. Sundeck, swimming pool, bars and restorants. Seams like some kind of squat. The temperature of the water is pretty cold(19)but still to do.

Good spot in city centre with vibe during the evening. You can chill on top deck or exercises at swimmers pool or have a training under level. Toilets are not perfect but there are plenty of them. Service was nice and professional. Enjoy your time.

No space offered to chill near the pool. A noisey football court blocks most of the sun. Water is way too cold.

delicious food, we got the breakfast for two and it was a big portion :) also the drink that came with it was amazing! I really like the atmosphere at badeschiff wien and would recommend going there!

Interesting dishes and drinks. I especially like that they put the names of female cooks under the name of the dishes on the menu.

Cool location on the canal to relax while sun bathing or going for a swim. Particularly nice in the summer and late spring, but if you dare you can do that even in the winter! Food is just avg except for the wedges. Haven't tried the drinks.

We went there in the late afternoon for a quick splash and a drink in the deckchair. Well deserved after a hot summer day touring the city.

It would be a perfect summer getaway if only they haven't lied about temperature of the water in the pool being 21 degrees celsius. Instead it was freezing cold. Also, the clique running the bar would benefit from showing a little less attitude and a lot more hospitality and kindness. Smiling doesn't hurt either.

Could be a good place and idea of the pool, however the stuff is mute (not saying hello, thank you, goodbye, like stone face) and absolutely self service. Nor the drinks, but not even the food they serve. (Additionally prices are pretty high, compared that u got nothing ex ordinary, nor even service. At all)

We went there for some drinks and a couple of our group got something to eat which looked quite nice. There is self service and the atmosphere is good, you are however right in between two loud streets which makes conversation sometimes hard.

Small menu, dishes are quite similar but delicious and good quality. Only the watermelon „salad“ surprised us, it’s just 4 small slices of melon and some olives and feta on the side. It’s a special concept, no table service, you order and need to pick your food up.

As a Lindy Hop dancer I visit the Badeschiff every Sunday from 6.30pm-11.30pm for having one of the best partner dancing socials in Vienna. The atmosphere is impecable and you will find pure joy. They also have a nice collection of beers.

Nice view of the Danube River in Vienna. Boat is in the river. Best for drinks only as the food is more street food. Pretty views inside and outside of the boat.

Really nice location, but prices are high! Grill mix having exactly only 3 pieces of meat and some undercooked potatoes does not justify as per my opinion the price of 16,50 euros!

Website says 20-22c pool. The pool is freeeezing. I like cold water but this was too much. I think they need to be a bit more upfront with this. It's a cool place though to sit in the sun and have a drink but don't come for the pool. Just swim in the Danube.... It's probably warmer :P

Cool place with a nice atmosphere. There are a few deck each one with a different vibe. Tip deck for eating, chilling, sunbathing. Middle deck with a swimming pool! Bottom deck with a bar vibe, sometimes they have music performances there. We ate some of the food it was ok, seems they warm up/ prepare the food in a little kitchen doesn't seem like they make it fresh on the spot. It was tasty but not amazing.

I was there for a swing dance party and I loved it! The location was so cool, the music was live and great and don’t even let me START on how amazing the food was!

Beautiful experience with my company and friends! Not suggested for dinner.

Every Sunday evening there is Swing Dance for low entry and a lot of fun! Always a pleasure!

Very chilled location on the danube canal with a cool middle eastern grill menu. Prices are fair, once you have grasped the self service system, it's very easy and of course, you get to earn your lunch by going for a swim in the pool first!

One of the best places to be when you come down at Schwedenplatz. Friendly staff and fair prices, relaxed and calm atmosphere, nothing rude, unlike the most terraces around the area. Sunbeds and the pool make it even better.

Good place to have a drink. Beautiful views from the top of the boat. You can even swim in a pool so bring your swim suit and towel.

I organised an event for 50 people on Badeschiff and will return! The Badeschiffteam proved to be friendly and flexible in their handling of our event and kept good mood and drinks flowing on an airy late summer night. You gave the event that holiday touch! Thank you!

Fun casual place near Schwedenplatz

Nice place to have a swim and a drink on a hot day. However, the staff asked me to leave my comfy seat because they were closing the upper deck (quite early in the afternoon) and I had to take an uncomfortable chair on the lower deck instead.

Came for a quick sit down and a chug of beer. Really nice spot. Very simple but enjoyable. The deck chairs for seating just give it that extra chilled vibe with a great view. Great staff.

Great place to spend time with friends, family or alone. It self-service and prices are ok. They have swimming pool too, but you have to call to make reservation. Swimming pool ticket doesn't include drink. This is on of the best places in Vienna in the afternoon or night ;)
