Today I’ve visited Steffl to buy Dyson styler which unexpected ended for me up with the worst client service I’ve ever experienced. There was a long queue afterwards the sales assistant made a list with all the people who wanted the styler. She informed me she would call when it’s my turn. First of all, the sales assistant didn’t even manage to call me. Secondly, when I came for my turn, she told me not following the list that this is not mine and I have to wait which was of course not true. She started to shout at me and told me immediately to leave the store and that she would not sell me the styler. She even called the security who came to me and couldn’t do anything expect staring at me knowing there is no reason to kick me out. She was rude and couldn’t even cope with her emotions, which is unprofessional. I am your regular customer and from today’s experience I’m not even sure if I want to visit your store again. I’ve never felt so humiliated. I hope you’ll improve your client service or you’ll lose your attendance.

Bought Dyson Airwrap today. Worst experience I ever had. Sales Assistant with black hair very rude, inkompetent and emotional. There was a queue for Dyson winter edition, and she made a list of people and should have sold it with principe first come-first serve. But she anyway sold it to people who came later and simply ignored others. When I told her its not fair, she started to shout, threaten that she will kick me out from the store and won't sell anything. Honestly, I'm shocked and disappointed. I'm almost gold customer in your store and should be treated in a bit better way.

UPDATE: There are 2 KINDS of luxury department stores. 1) Takes the latest fashion utmost serious. Buying department goes to every major Fashion event and gets a good budget to buy the latest collection for their showroom (every season). Takes customer complaints dead serious and IS afraid of customer complaints. OR, 2) Thinks they are taking fashion serious. Little budget for buying team to get new season items. Act arrogant to their customers. Think that offering a Refund will solve everything. Luxury retailers that carry-over items that are NO LONGER in production(take dead stock to mix with new collection) should be avoided! Serious retailers immediately remove dead season stock (not produced anymore) to sell at other Outlets or Sales events. Carry-Over is ONLY Acceptable if the item is still in production (example, a winter jacket, scarf, gloves etc. that hasn’t changed designs). They assumed that I had no knowledge of how Luxury retail stores operate. But I have sources working in Buying Teams that travel for major fashion shows to buy the latest fashion. Background: Purchased a Sandro Coat thinking it was from their latest Fall/Winter 2022 Season collection. It turned out that it was from October 2021 season. They carried-over the dead stock (not in production anymore). On the phone, one sales staff told me it was normal to carry-over season dead stock with no defects. He also dared to ask me how and why I thought it was dead stock (simple internet search duh…) He had ZERO interest to help make things right. And gave a bunch of excuses. This 2021 season coat was on a dummy display in the FW 2022 showroom. Not even Zara, H&M would hang dead stock in their shopping floor. They SHOULD label carry-over items CLEARLY! It would easily solve the issue of deceiving customers. Even the receipt said it was a sale item. Lastly, sales had the audacity to shove the Canada Goose parka into the cloth bag. The protective cloth/dust bag is what you use for a Suits or delicate garments. And you are supposed to open the protective cloth/dust bag in FULL and LAY customers items horizontally in the bag. Very disappointing experience shopping at Steffl. They made me feel inferior.

At first I couldn’t find it because from outside it looks like a cheap department store while I was expecting a designers luxury one. From the inside the impression was even worse. Products are expensive but the way they are presented makes them look cheap. The staff is impolite, at least in the men’s department. A skinny girl with lips implant refused to check if what I wanted to buy was on sale or full price and preferred to look herself in the mirror and make the catwalk around the store instead of taking care of the customers. After I didn’t want to explore more but I guess the roof bar has a great view over Wien’s towers and rooves.

Slightly confusing store. Pretends to be high end but the look and feel isnt. Was searchong porschedesign luggage and on the web it shouyld be at Steffl, but nothing and staff even dont know an]thing about!

Amy from the Watch department was the nicest and most helpful person I've ever met. She went above and beyond to help me with a difficult situation with my watch (which had an incorrect certificate and couldn't be sold). She found a solution for me and got me my watch. Highly recommend Steffl and Amy!

Today i visited for men in the 3.floor (polo Ralph Lauren) But unfortunately worker so unrespectful cuz he doesn't want helpful. Company is a so quality but worker so bad i was feel because of this event.

Reportedly Austria's largest department store Steffl sits amidst all the usual high end fashion but differentiates itself by way of exemplary customer service, variety and sales that are at times less than half the regular price. Also streamlining tax rebates, with cleanly public restrooms aplenty, those seeking a gift will do well to set aside an hour to stop in and browse.

I forced myself to leave this place otherwise I would spent there many hours. A lot of luxuary brands, so good shopping is guaranteed 👌

Staff is very unfriendly, as a customer you're beeing mostly ignored by them. Also beware of buying anything, especially during sale. Items on sale cannot be returned! I wanted to exchange a bag 2 days after I bought it. I even offered to take another one, which was even more expensive. Was denied service in a very rude way.

There is a Tax Refund office on the 5th floor, better do it before here than the airport

It is a medium size mall with lots of brands popular and not . The building is clean ,but the staff is a bit <<sad>> and some of them don't speak English. But the view on the last floor is stunning. Also there is a restaurant on the last floor with great food friendly and helpful staff .

I just got around to posting a review today. On 05/25/2023 at 5 40pm I sat in the Sky Bar in Steffl and ordered 1 bottle of Perrier Jouët - my favorite champagne. The waiter, passionate about his job, served me in a way where I now want to rain flowers from heaven for him. He invited me to a piece of truffle cake and made the moment an event for me. I thank this waiter in this way for the so extraordinary and so far unique service! Just as he bowed to me and made room for me to be very special, I now bow to him. I will be back for you!!! I wish there were more waiters like you! Thank you

Be aware Tax Refund will only be processed the same day. The line is too long and you have to come back a couple days later, they just say no, with no real logic to it. "The system won't let us process it". Ridiculous.

Tax-free on the fifth floor and very fast service.

Great shopping spot in Vienna. I bought a Nicasconcept bag here, the sales associate was extremely helpful and friendly. The Sky cafe offers great city sunset views and the service was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Very upmarket department store. I think I need to sell more books before I can afford this venue, though. 600 Euros for a pair of gloves. Yikes.

If you want to buy high end clothes, go elsewhere. My father-in-law wanted to buy a classical button-down shirt. He loves Wien and he used to make his shopping in Steffl. He prefers Brioni and Zegna, but he was ok with the Van Laack from the Steffls’ 3rd floor mens’ department. BUT he wasn’t permitted to try it because “they are not allowed to open it “😄. You can try other cheaper shirts (another line of Van Laack with OTHER sizing sistem) that are supposed to fit the same. 😁 we were told that they have “too many opened shirts”. And they are not allowed to open others. “It’s managers order “😂 We are supposed to buy €200 shirt without trying it 🤣 And I don’t even want to discuss the aloofness and dry way of speaking of shop assistant and her boss. So we went to Zegna store that is located 5 min walk from there and bought a shirt where the personnel is ok with doing their job. Don’t waste your time !!

We went up to the skybox to have a coffee and see the city from high up it was definitely worth the effort we had Apple strudel with sherbet it was very good a chai tea latte I really enjoy apero sprizz !!! The waitress was a really nice helpful and professional Linda C

Huge department store, very exclusive. It's all top brand and very luxurious. It's located in the must beautiful area in Vienna.

Great choice of articles. The Sale department has amazing offers, just check if articles are not damaged or returned over there. Negative point: not enough sellers in some areas, where it is almost impossible to find some help, especially the mens department (sellers tend to prefer to stay at the Checkout/Kassa and talk/gossip with each other’s…)

Awoman with black hair at Dyson store was extremely rude, shouted at my friends, and wanted to kick us out of the store. I wanted to buy a hair dryer, but I immediately changed my mind about this attitude towards customers. Steffl was the first store i visited in Vienna and immediately had such a horrible experience. I expected better customer service from such a famous Viennese store abroad.

The best store in Vienna I have visited in year 18 and 20 and again 22 This year is less interesting there’s renovation on the pop up floor and and the sales are not as good or much as year 20. Staffs are nice, give your enough space to look around.

7 floor restaurant & bar. Nice place for coffee or snake. Very classic as Vienna

Big shops thru 5 floors with expensive brand. It include Blue Tax free office if you need to settle your claims .

Possibly considered the best department store of Vienna with many luxury brands, spresd out on 7 floors. It caters to the middle to higher end market. There is a global blue refund desk inside the store. I find the selection is limited due to limited floor space, if I wanted to purchase a particular luxury brand, I have much better chance going over to the exclusive boutique of hat brand, which is usually in Kohlmart, not a long walk at all.

Love this mall! You can find lot of stuff from street wear to higher fashion and brands. Discounts go up to 70% A must visit for shoppers.

Great experience. Bought stuff with 70%,50% and new season items. Very nice. Never spend so much on clothes in a day😅👍🏻
