If you look for a place to go Salsa dancing in a nice comfortable pace this is where to go!

This only concerns to the student residence above the salsa bar (unfortunately they deactivated the evaluation function): INTERNATIONALS PAY ATTENTION!!! Unfortunately structural discrimination is daily fair :( When you apply for a room they will mostly give you a 8sqm room for hefty 409€, whereas "normal" students get about 12 sqm room for the same prize. This means a price supplement of 33% and is totally unacceptable! I also encourage you to only pay the deposit after they gave you a contract with the exact room size, which they first deny without any reason. They try to cheat on you as most as they can and in case you interrupt they claim that you would not have any rights, which is wrong. Stay strong and do not take a 8sqm room for 409€. This is totally overpriced.

Great place for dancing Salsa and Bachata. Ideal for people that like to dance, but do not have the time to go clubbing so late the week end. Nice and friendly atmosphere.

Super friendly place, the location is great and reachable from anywhere in Vienna, every Monday there is a great Salsa party with amazing DJs. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to dance Salsa in Vienna. Tiny recommendation: the air ventilation could be improved but that’s usually normal in all Salsa events…

Entrance only for members! An event is inside! The doorkeepers told us with big confidence and rudeness! Please say the truth. Nothing wrong with being clear. I danced in all the countries that I visited and this is the first time that happen to me. Please don’t judge people by appearance (I’m not talking about dress code) or presentation, is only dancing and feeling the music. Good to know that you don’t have the essence of latin culture.

No Air-conditioning

For years we enjoyed dancing in the salsa bar... Now the Casanena management doesn't even seem to think it's necessary to update the dates on the homepage or on FB! A pity! Supposedly there is now social dancing on Mondays, but WHEN???? The entrance fee is constantly increasing, but service is not provided.......
