Really cute outdoor courtyard, friendly service and fresh food. Decently priced with nice range of vegetarian and vegan dishes are well. The cabbage noodles are served with a nice salad. The veal schnitzel itself was a little chewy but the potato salad it was served with was spot on! The vegan sandwich was a little hard to eat but really tasty.

We are so lucky for this tip from our neighbor! Variety is not so wide but the things offered are very high standard and fresh. We ordered the Schnitzel and a Hummus mousse with olives. The Hummus was great and you could taste the quality of the ingredients like the olive oil. I recommend it. Also on a hot day like we had it was very refreshing. Bio quality on the meat is a plus. Friendly waiter is always something one appreciate. Outside terrace is getting there on atmosphere, probably some wooden small roof with the creeper plants would give the final touch and give a more cozy inviting atmosphere. We are happy though.

There's a compelling reason why this inner courtyard is beloved: the service is gracious, the food exceeds the "okay" mark by a few notches, and the homemade fries are absolutely heavenly.

Very cosy garden with a roof which is perfect even if it’s raining. 🌿🌱 The food and drinks were great but the place to me was all about the trees and the outdoor seating area. Highly recommended 🌟

Good local specialties such as Gulasch, Dumplings, Cabbage and tasty desserts. The local beer on tap is worth a try. Outside seating is also cool as it is protected by a sun roof. Staff was super friendly and provided nice suggestions. Moderate prices!

My goodness the goulash here is outstanding! The best I have ever eaten. And the little cobblestone garden with the trees, hanging lamps and candles makes for the perfect romantic ambience. This place is a gem. I highly recommend it. If you are in the neighborhood and want to get a good bite to eat or just enjoy a drink with some friends stop by this place. You will not be disappointed

A wonderful restaurant whose outdoor area is housed in a very beautiful garden surrounded by stone buildings. We ordered a schnitzel, a lamb, and chicken nuggets along with a bottle of wine. The food was very tasty and presentable, and the wine very good. Prices were normal. The only reason I put four stars and not five is because there was a mouse threshing in the garden, something I personally did not like. However, we were very pleased with the service and the food.

Great food, we had the bio kalbs Wiener schnitzel, it was excellent. The potato salad is just superb. I would eat here everyday if I could. The staff is also kind and forthcoming. Very recommend!

We had a funny stay at the restaurant, the terrace is really cool as it is between the buildings lots of grapevines above. The waiter made a mistake but finally they made up for it perfectly so we ended up satisfied. The food was really tasty. I'm a salad person so I would prefer more salad to go with wiener schnitzel. The potato salad was good (though I thought I didn't like it before). The ravioli were also really nice, the dough was soft, the filling tasty, the lime-butter just perfect.

We really enjoyed this restaurant a lot. The food was excellent, the service much better than most places, and prices were reasonable. I had a rustic ham and cheese toast on truly delicious bread. My wife had the oven roasted vegetable salad with cheese and bread. Both were fantastic. We started with a creamed pumpkin soup which was also very good. I had a glass of Sturm (early, unfiltered, low alcohol wine) that was decent and a little overpriced (4,20 per glass where most places charge 3,40 right now). Little things, though, made the difference. The waitress allowing us to sample the Blaufränkisch wine and the second server replacing my wife's silver because he brushed against while putting her plate down. The courtyard is great, even in cooler weather as it is super quiet and wind protected in shoulder seasons.

We came back! Great neighbourhood place. A mix of locals and others. In six days we ate the best schnitzel and goulash here, so came back for more on our last night. Good spaces indoors and in the courtyard.

This is undoubtedly one of the finest traditional restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of dining in. The schnitzel here is absolutely incredible. The sheer quality of the food is so captivating that you'll find yourself marveling at it even with your very last bite. The atmosphere is truly remarkable, offering a delightful and authentic ambiance, especially when seated in the garden.

Chai Latte was said to be hot....it's low warm. And so is the taste. It doesn't do much. The flavour isn't impressive, and rather boring. Besides this the menu looks rather expensive, sure this bar or whatever it stationed in the inner city but cmon....you're robbing the middle class here. Anyways I was seated outside (no place left inside) and it's hella cold, I wish they provided blankets or something. They didn't. So yeah the service here could definitely be better. All in all, I just feel disappointed? I mean I just expected better.

I’m a local but this was my first time at the Amerlingbeisl and probably my last one too. The location is great and really inviting but that’s the only positive point, well the soup of the day was quite ok though. We had to beg for the waiters attention to get another drink and it took them forever to remove the dirty dishes, the food wasn’t really good for those prices and the dessert tasted like fridge.

Great place with great schnitzels, get a 0.5L beer with the wienerschnitzel for the authentic Wiener experience!

the inner garden is pretty, cosy and very beautiful. the menu is not complicated and confusing. you can find soups, middle eastern mezes, salads and hearty dishes. my schnitzel was much better than I expected; very thin, very tasty and accompanied with a tasteful potato salad. it is a lovely place!

I went here for dinner because it was recommended to one of my friends and it was the ideal place! The menu is not very extensive but it hits the spot with any of the dishes you order. The best thing about the place is the interior patio, it's very cosy and offers the perfect ambience for any occasion. The service was fast, attentive and very friendly. Highly recommended!

Very great and cozy atmosphere in the inner courtyard, ideal for a drink or something to eat when the weather is nice. The service was very friendly and attentive. The menu is quite small, but everything on it is delicious. Highly recommended, especially for brunch.

Nice place to sit and good Austrian food. Sitting in an outside court but roof covered and lots of climbing plants and cosy lights.

The dishes they cook are made out of organic commodities so the price is logically adjusted to this fact. BUT the final product is worth it. The taste of their tortillas was out of this world… 👌 Another reason to visit this restaurant is the enviroment…I was honestly swayed by the looks and therefore decided to go here.

Wonderful Austrian Cuisine! This restaurant serves very good authentic austrian food. The Schnitzel is a proper size and the fries are definitely homemade. (Best crunchy fries I have had in quite some time!) The pricing is spot on. It is neither cheap nor expensive. Service was really friendly. The food could have arrived a little faster but we were happy to wait, sitting in a small beautiful Gastgarten. We will definitely come again!

Fantastic garden to have food under the greens I love Styrian salad, it is a tradition dish mixed with pumpkin seeds and pumpkin oil. Very refreshing for a hot summer day The chicken schnitzel is very good too. The cranberry sauce on the side is an experience The homemade lemonade is sweet but not too much🍹 and goes well with the salad 🥗

One of our favourite restaurants in Vienna. The inner courtyard is very pleasant, very nice decoration. Peaceful atmosphere right in the heart of the city. The schnitzels are the best we have eaten so far. Other dishes like tzatziki and salmon are delicious. An excellent quality/quantity/price ratio. The service is ok too, which is not always the case in Vienna. We recommend and go back every time.

Cozy place, nice outdoor seating, good lemonades. The place is nicely located and pretty quite compared to other restaurants. The menu is comparable small (which usually is a good thing), but it offers amazing dishes that even I had to take a while to decide. Taste wise, it is simple and delicious, so you can’t do something wrong. The homemade lemonades have been good and refreshing, but unfortunately not mixed properly, so the bottom part was crazily sweet while the rest was more like water with taste. The pricing is fair as well and the staff is nice, but not too helpful tho.

Such a terrible experience on our 3 days trip to Vienna. At the entrance the host said that She have a table for us but only for one hour. we where in a hurry so agreed to that thinking that things will go fast. It took really long till the lady came back to take our order and didn't even told us about the daily menu! Then It took almost one hour till the food came. The food was really overpriced compare to what we have got. Then... when we came to ask for coffee and beer this lady came and told us that one hour passed and we need to leave!!! My brother was literally with the food inside his mouth!!! SO RUDE! WORST SERVICE! MEDIUM FOOD! OVER PRICED!

I came back to this nice place after 2 years, no doubt it was again a great choice while spending few hours in Wien. Polite waiters and pleasant garden atmosphere. Affordable prices for some fresh and tasty food.

After having been there 2 times (lunch and dinner) I can confirm this place is really nice and different. Nice inner courtyard giving a very living atmosphere especially in the evening. Nice menu plus week suggestions of a very good level (without being expensive). The staff is really friendly. I will come back
