Camped here while seeing Vienna due to ease of location near metro. Pitches were on the small size, hard to find shaded ones. I found the facilities just okay and not plentiful enough. Only 3 sinks to wash dishes and 5 showers for women. Playground only has a slide, swings are broken, zip line broken. My big beef was the customer service. My husband got me a cup of coffee in the morning and as I was drinking it, part of the bottom fell out and started gushing coffee. I jumped and my quick reflexes saved me from getting burned and I only got coffee splattered on my shirt but I lost my whole cup of piping hot coffee. Well I took my cup back to the cafe and showed him my cup and explained what happened and he didn’t do anything. I am not expecting American customer service but I paid €3.80 for a coffee that I never got to drink. I asked if I could please have a new cup of coffee and he said, no, I gave you a normal cup of coffee. I said yes in a poor quality cup. He said no, and just kept repeating I have you a normal cup of coffee and if I do that then I would have to give every other customer another cup of coffee. (Here I am thinking or just buy better quality cups). I told him I almost got burned. I jumped and that’s he only reason why I didn’t get burned and my small kids could have gotten seriously burned. I’m not making a big deal about it but I just want to drink my morning cup of coffee. He still said no. I just couldn’t believe that he actually expected me to buy another damn cup of coffee after what happened to my first. So I just left. So my advice is don’t expect any kind of customer service and if you order coffee make sure to ask for two cups and keep it away from your kids.

When we got to the camping we were told to simply pick a spot. After our night of camping with only a small tent, they told us we had to pay for a camper since we occupied a camper space. They never informed us that the prices for tents they have, are for a separate ‘tent’ area. The staff was not nice to us. It was clear from the beginning our German was not great but our English was perfect. The receptionist kept speaking to us in German, even when her colleague told her we spoke English. The pitches are rock solid, it is almost impossible to anker your tent because of it. The camping ground is noisy due to the highway and a nearby club/festival. Bathroom facilities were fine when we arrived, but the next morning in the ladies toilet there was pee on the ground, along with heaps of toilet paper and beer bottles. Worst camping ground we have been to out entire trip and a single night was €36!

Worst paid campsite i have ever been in. I have been in free campsites with better amenities. Its just an open field next to the highway. No benches, tables and the amenities block is far away with just 1 tables and 3 chairs. Showers dont have benches. No where to charge your phones. Typical place where the owner has no heart in the business and just there to make money.

It wasn't that bad until somebody stole our suitcase with literally only cheap clothes in it. They opened it, so they knew there wasn't anything of value in it, left a few things they didn't need and got away with an almost broken suitcase and a bunch of 5€ primark stuff. If you're not used to camp with tramps don't come to this place, they don't have cameras and won't take any accountability- but I must say, they'll be so nice to give you trash bags to put your stuff into. Trash bags. Also, the bar and shop opening hours are absolutely ridiculous.

Only tip is to NOT get back after dark since there’s pitch dark walk of about 15min walk in which we were followed by a stranger and another person jumped out of the bushes with a flashlight on our faces, looked at us turned flashlight off and went back to the bushes. Pretty scary to be honest, when asked at the reception if it is a dangerous area we were told “ I don’t know”, it seemed like it wasn’t the first time someone brought that up with them. Also, the camping site isn’t that secure since anyone can get in or out at anytime of the night, no security, no gates, no reception open.. there was even a man sleeping on the table at the entrance which made our experience here a bit too nerve wracking. 31€ for an overnight in the paved parking lot is a bit much too. Not worth the stress.

Location is the best you can get when your camping. The u-ban will get you to the city center in about 15 minutes, to get to the u-ban you will walk about 10 minutes. The campground itself is overpriced if you ask me. Two adults, a van with electricity and one coin for laundry will cost you about €80 for two nights. No provided spot for charging devices. Everyone charges them in the bathrooms/showers, where they get stolen regularly. Front desk not interested in theft, it's "not any of their business". I personally had a charger and powerbank stolen, which left me in a difficult situation the next day as I was unable to charge my phone which contained my train ticket. Avoid at all costs, unless you have some possessions you want to get rid of.
