Not worth coming - crowded stone/marble beach with strong wind and no showers 🙈 it’s completely overrated. Plus to get here you need to walk 30 min or take a taxi. It looks marvellous at the air pictures but in reality Its a regular beach ( So calling it symbol of the Adriatic is a blasphemy 🫣

Spent a couple of hours there, it is great that you can find enough shade for many visitors and don't have to stay in the hot sun all the time. Many places for food and drink. Water clean and refreshing. You can get there from the port by a taxi boat for a few euros

Great place to spend a few hours. The water is so clear and refreshing on a hot day. For sun protection you can rent loungers with umbrellas or small pavilions (~250kn) or for free, hang out under the extensive tree line. There are a quite a few choices for food and drinks (we went with the vegan place for lunch and the crepes for dessert - both were good!), toilets and showers (6kn/15kn) and changing areas. We got there at 1000 and it was not crowded at all with plenty of parking (100kn for the day). We left at 1400 as it was getting really crowded. Also, it’s Croatia so water shoes would be great as it’s a painful walk to and from the water without them- all the rocks!

Beautiful and much nicer in April-May or early autumn than in summer holiday season, when is too crowded. For the beach not 5, but 10 stars. For the summer crowds - zero stars.

Beautiful place with small gravel beach and turquoise waters. Quite deep water suddenly. Afternoon it's for Kait surfing at the edge of beach and swimming there is not available or recommended. One side is very windy with big waves. Great bar with live music. Absence of showers. Easy to get beach kids friendly. Water sport available at the place. Recommended to anyone.

Very nice beach. It looks sandy but it’s full of pebbles. There is plenty to do in regards to food and water activities (was there first week of September and not super busy). Tried paddle boarding. Definitely recommend a visit. Bathrooms are nearby but you have to pay 5 kr to use.

It’s one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. The water even at 30ft is crystal clear with colorful fish swimming all around the sea grass. Water is refreshing, plenty of places for snacks and drinks, water activities and more.

Zlatni rat beach (Golden Horn or Golden Cape) beach, Most people make one mistake when imagining the beach: it is a sandy beach well; it is not a sandy beach. Zlatni rat beach is a pebble beach!!!! Great beach , a lot of shade in the pine forest near the beach , also crystal clear water.

Very gorgeous place with amazing water color. I was there beginning of august and it seems this is the best time of the year to visit. Water is a bit cold in my opinion but ok to enter. The beach has no sand, the shore is made of small stones so wearing special shoes helps. You can buy them from the store in the city. Also the shallow part of the water is very short, no more than 8 meters so be careful. Going to the beach early gets you the best photo opportunities. Infrastructure around is great with places to get food and drinks.

Pebble stone beach which looks better when looking from up. Pretty crowded during the season. Umbrellas and sunbeds needs to be rented. Rent is 80 kn for umbrella and 80 kn for one sunbed. Beachboy checks time to time which are in use. Umbrella can be moved near to the sea but sunbeds are not allowed to be moved. There is possibility to do water sports example kite surfing and parasailing. Food can be buyed from little pop-up shops example fries, pizza, hamburgers etc. Cash only

Awesome beach , mesmerising beach. It’s situated in Brac island of Croatia. Must visit, although during this April month, the water was cold but little bit sunny which balances the things. It’s really is very beautiful and also it’s in horn shape so people visits this beautiful place to have a mesmerising view and awesome scenic beautiful surroundings.

One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever visited! There is a windy beach with warmer water on the right side and not so windy beach with cold water on the left. Kids loved playing in the waves on the windy side, we could not get them out of the water!

Overrated! It has no sand, only smallers rocks. The water is nice, but where isn't in Croatia?! Prices to the roof.. 34 kun for a beer! So, if you are in the area check it out. Otherwise..

The sandy beach is beautiful. With blue clean water and high waves. In the season is quite visited and crowded, but outside of it is almost empty. I do also recomend you visiting the Vidova gora. From there you can have a beautiful site and see a lot of things including Zlatni rat. I hope you'll visit the place!

What a joke. So crowded with people it is impossible to enjoy this piece of nature. And all those parking lots... if you are with a scooter - go ahead and park somewhere on the side. If you are with a car - you still can find free corners to park.

For two summers, we vacationed on Bok and swam on this beautiful and very famous beach. Very nice memories. The beach is pebbly. The tongue that extends into the sea has a beautiful beach and swimming here is excellent. But there is a lot of wind and no shade.

One of the best beaches I have ever been to. There is a forest in the middle of the beach which provides shade. Inside of the forest there are multiple restaurants and bars and other necessities like toilet, shower, and a changing room. The beach has two Shores. On one side there are waves, on the other side there are no waves at all. There are multiple water features and attractions that you can attend. The water is crystal clear and you can see everything in the water. This is a perfect place for snorkeling, swimming and having fun. The Beach is a Pebble Beach, not a Sand Beach.

Very clean and clear water beach. Little salty water but not much to get skin very sticky. There is no sand, instead entire beach consists of tiny pebbles. Good for swimming. Suitable for kids. Car parking is nearby with shade and fee for 20kuna per hour. Toilets available for fee. ATM, some small eatery available.

This place is a paradise on Earth whether you enjoy beaches or rough rocks. Not too crowded in the middle of July. Just the right number of people for an amazing atmosphere. Water is exeptionally refreshing

The beach itself is very nice with clear water and even though it’s not a sandy beach walking around isn’t to bad. Depending on the time of day you might also get some shade from the trees around. That being said, the popularity of this place ruins it. During high season it gets extremely packed and parking nearby is short of a robbery (5€/hour in a field..) Also note that adjacent is a nudist beach. Honestly there are plenty beaches nearby that are equally nice but much more relaxing.

Get your fill of turquoise waters and good snorkeling. Parking a tad expensive. Lots of good bars and cafes. A variety of food stalls. Get there early so you can find a shaded spot. Plenty of watersport available too. Take your rock shoes as it's a pebbly beach. As soon as you see it, you can't wait to jump in.

Amazing beach. Worth of everything. If you want to visit for a day, feel free to use parking areas on the west side of the beach, 10€ whole day. Walking distance also from the center of Bol. You will love it.

Zlatni rat is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean with a pine forest and crystal clear sea. But when you step on the beach the impression changes quickly because you will feel like you are in an anthill and when you enter the sea I was like in a fish pond. The crowd was great even though it was September. You will surely empty your pockets on the beach because everything is paid for and prices are high. Sunbeds cost €12 each and a parasol costs an additional €12. There are even three points for water sports, the offer is rich, the prices are uniform and high. Aqua park costs €15 per person for 30 minutes. The offer of fast food is also rich, the cheapest food is a small slice of pizza that costs €5. There is only one toilet on the entire beach and the only shower is located in the same place. Using the toilet costs €1, taking a shower costs €2.50, and if you need a towel to wipe yourself after showering, it's another €1. There is a queue to use the toilet and shower. There are also several beach bars with pleasant music, but they are expensive. The pine forest on the very beach where I used to be able to lie is now mostly filled with fast food kiosks and beach bars. It is recommended that you take everything you can with you, water and other drinks, sandwiches, and a parasol is recommended. The beach, or the return to the city, can be reached by boat, which costs €4 per person in each direction. The same service is offered by little tourist train with the same price of €4 per person in each direction.

One of the famous beach in Croatia. During the spring and autumn, it's not so crowded, so you can enjoy easily . Also, beach is very clean and at the entrance you have even an ecological ashtray. You have free change room and few bars. Toilet 🚻 price is around 1 euro.

Nicest beach in Croatia. I have enjoyed nice view of sunset from it. It's pebble beach but the stones aren't big so you can go without swimming shoes. I love that the beach wasn't so commercialized with too many restaurants in it. So it has some peace. And it's very wide and big. So you can find a place with no crowd.

Lovely beach with crystal clear water, fishes, infrastructure and great views! The cost of 2 sun beds and umbrella was 240 hrs in the first week of September 2022. Definitely recommend to take a walk from Bol, as on your way you can enjoy some beautiful views.

  • 5/5 Michael K. 1 year ago on Google
We came here End of June at 4pm and stayed for around two hours, while enjoying the sunset, the warm water and not too many people. Most people already leave around that time. I had a drone with me, therefore you can find some great pictures from above. Enjoy!

General speaking it is a beautiful natural beach. In July and August it is full of people, which is not nice because you can not experience its beauty. What is good is that from the center of the Bol to the beach, a beautiful path leads you in the shade of a pine forest. Unpriceless.

  • 3/5 Madalina P. 8 months ago on Google
A lot of people, but if you go in the morning at 10 you find places just close to the beach. But the water is cold, so I didn’t really get in. On the way to the beach there are some nice places where to get coffee and fresh juices. Please buy an umbrella before hand, its expensive there. Also you can have done massages there. The water is clean an beautiful.

one of the most exciting beaches in the world. beautiful, clean, and fun. crystal blue sea, lot of thing to do, kite, surf, dance, great beach bar with great after beach party's... highly recommended.

Beautiful place, the sea water was cold, but you got used to it quickly. Little fish nip at you of you're standing still. Lounge chairs are for rent so ne prepared. Also, water shoes are a must as it's a pebble beach. Overall, I'm glad we experienced it!

  • 4/5 Rug 8 months ago on Google
I had many expectations of this beach, beautiful but not great. The water is clear and clean but not as impressive as other places I've seen. There are many lounge bars and places to eat street food, two quality restaurants. I recommend getting a sofa in a lounge bar and staying there all day rather than paying 36 euros for two sunbeds and a sun umbrella, have a drink and enjoy the whole day.

  • 5/5 Lana B. 7 months ago on Google
It is a nice beach with little stones. Great for swimming and sun taning. For people like me who need the shade, there is also a park with pine trees where you can put your towels and rest. They have public toilets for 1 eur with a lovely cat guarding the entrance. The beach had nice beach bars, food stands, and a source of drinking water. It seems juve for everyone. Of course I shouldn't forget the spectacular beach itself, which changes its shape based on the wind. It is truly something special and magical. It can be very windy on the beach, and the waves can be strong. Depending on the weather.

  • 4/5 Ákos K. 7 months ago on Google
Nice place, the wind is always blowing. One side therefore is with big waves the other is calm. Lot of food stands and restaurants. Playgrounds for kids in water and on the beach. Ideal for surfing and kitesurf. Restricted and watched areas by lifeguards. You have to pay for the toilet, shower and parking.

  • 4/5 Saska K. 7 months ago on Google
The beach isn't sandy there are very small rocks everywhere but that isn't very surprising in Croatia. I would recommend going before noon because then the beach is completely full or in the evening to watch sunset. It is also quite windy there so don't bring your beach ball if you don't want to lose it;)

  • 5/5 Priscila V. 7 months ago on Google
This beach is perfect and the city is so charming, would come back there one million times. You have everything thing you need there, showers, toilets, bars, street food and even bicycle parking. Our accommodation offers bikes for free to the guests so we took advantage of it and went there cycling. The way to the beach is so lovely. Bol is amazing, we are in love with this place.

  • 5/5 alan b. 6 months ago on Google
Stunning beach, rightly one of the best in the med area. It's stony but don't let that put you off. Some cool bars and cafes alongside, in the pines...this place is so cool

First time to Brač island. Bol looks very nice and clean. Great walk by the beach shore. Nice cocktail bars, ice cream and stands with local stuff along the way. We came here in September and because the high season just ended, there's not many people around. But the sea water is still warm and good for swimming. Water is very clean and clear. You can basically see the sea bed very clearly and deep. Overall a pleasant site. Would recommend to visit it and enjoy your vacation.

  • 3/5 Claudia S. 6 months ago on Google
hätte mir von den bekannten Fotos ehrlich gesagt mehr erwartet - großer Kieselstrand (von grob bis fein), klares Wasser, viele Leute. Alles da was man braucht, nette Bars, Speisen etc.

  • 2/5 V C. 3 years ago on Google
It was rather a disappointing experience. Considering that we live in the times of pandemic, it was too overcrowded and people simply didn't really care about social distancing or coughing/sneezing etiquette. We liked other beaches in Croatia more.

  • 4/5 Adam M. 6 months ago on Google
Located 5 mins from the parking lot. Nice beach but no sand as some others wrote, small pebbles only. At the tip there is a strong current and water is deep but there is a roped off section where the water is calmer and shallow suitable for children. You need to pay to use bathrooms and showers. It is possible to walk along the coast and swim in other less crowded areas.

  • 3/5 Declan B. 3 years ago on Google
Nice spot, lots of tourists and locals but the latter has unfortunately no idea of covid 2m guidelines. If you rent a sun loungers and brolly the locals will be putting down towels in between them. Easy into the water on a pebble beach. Bar beers 33kuna for a draught pint at the bar. Food outrageously expensive, bring your own. 20 min shaded walk from bus station at Bol

Often called the most beautiful beach in Croatia, if not in Europe, this jewel of the Adriatic Sea, justifiably deserves this title. The unique shape of the beach created by the sea every day gives the beach a new look. Beautiful transparent sea, sun and pine trees and the shade of them, are all you need for a perfect day at the beach. A beach that must be visited for life.

Very clean, tiny, cozy beach. I imagine it can be very crowded in summer time, as even mid September it was quite packed. Pebble beach, in the first times it was struggling to walk barefoot, but with time managed to walk on it and even started liking the natural massage hahaha. Can be quite windy, which made me reallocate myself in front of the beach bar, where the wind is blocked by the bar's structure.

Nice beach, well mainained, lots of cafe's and additional activities. Small stones on the ground, has enough shallow water for kids. Uphill you can see the highest peak amongst Croatian islands. Sun was a bit absent but that's not a dealbreaker. There's a long walk near the sea in the old city, traffic is ok, big parking spot - not really very cheap but there are cheaper ones around if you drive a bit.

Great view for sunset. Many people but big enough that you can easily find a spot near water. Quite windy, hence why many water/wind sport activities available.

Too many people. You really have no personal space on the beach and in the water. Really bad choice of beach these days especially because of the pandemic, but also any time, because it is not relaxing day at the beach when there is so much noise and people that bump to you or walk over your towel. I did not see sand here, so I don’t know where or if there is any. Most of the beach has rocks on it. You Pay the parking which is 80 kn a day, which is around 10€/12$. I don’t think it’s worth it. There is so many much more beautiful beaches on the island. Too overhyped for nothing.

I don't know why they call it white sandy beach when it's just a normal beach with rocks, super crowded with people. Yes the water is clear but where is the sand that they talk about? You need to buy water shoes so you don't get hurt 😅 let's not talk about the fact you can't swim because many other people have occupied all the space I'm happy that I could visit it, but there are better places
