The north tower of St. Stephan Cathedral was a great experience! Me and my friends did no expect to climb and climb and still climb so many stairs. At our age of 25 it took more than 7 minutes to climb all the way to the top, but it was worth it. The view is incredible. With some luck you can be alone in there and you can just think about the height you are at and how cool is watching the entire city from above. Getting down takes around 3-4 minutes at a resonable pace. I totally recommend visiting it! P.S.: Your knees will shiver!

This church has incredible architecture both on the inside and outside. It's really something to see. And if you're able to climb up the tower, you'll get a really nice view as well.

Love the poster Stop the War. Unique church. Haven’t been inside and to the terrace but the outside is stunning. The most crowded place in the city for sure!

Stephansdom is a very important and well-known building in the city that visitors are sure to notice. What I found most impressive about Stephansdom was the roof. I really like the designs and the colors on the roof, which is not very common. The top of the cathedral is also accessible for visitors to explore. All you need to do is purchase the ticket and then go up the stairs. The inside of the cathedral is very nice and really big. This cathedral is different from the others I have visited. It is not grand or extravagant, there are no big oil paintings on the ceiling or anything like that.

St. Stephen's Cathedral is very tall and it has four towers. The Stephansdom Nordturm (North Tower) is one of the four towers popular amongst tourists. The tower can be visited by the public and offers stunning views of Vienna. The church is very old and sacred. The architecture of this church is very old and beautiful .

The North tower of the cathedral offers a great view of the market surrounding the church, but also the city. The stair climb is definitely a cool experience and challenge, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with a poor physical condition or any type of health issues. There is also a lift that will take you very close to the top, for an extra fee. Overall, worth a visit if you want to burn some calories, and get a nice view at the end.

Massive Gothic church. When you're taking the train, stop at Stephanplatz and when you get out, this massive church is the first thing you will notice. I was in awe of the architecture. The high end shopping area is next this church and Hofburg castle is also nearby. You should try the Vienna sausage and the fluffy pancakes with raspberry.

Another icon of the city. Its architecture is awesome and if you go on the south tower you can see a 360º view of the city (after more than 300 stairs)

Beautiful church, we skipped the hike by the way. I am sure the view from the top would have looked amazing but it's equally amazing inside and the surrounding. It was very busy It didn't matter what time we had gone. Beautiful church and beautiful location. Definitely recommend.

Today we wanted to visit S. stephan church but unfortunately there was a lot of queue so instead we decided to visit the tower of the church. It is about 340 steps but trust me, it's worth it. Really good view from the top of the tower.

(Translated by Google) A very beautiful tower and the cathedral itself. Many tourists and guests of Vienna come here to look at this beauty from the outside and from the inside. Catholic believers can rejoice and be proud of this treasure, thanking God for everything they have and their ancestors for their diligent work and incredible efforts. And to preserve and restore this shrine is the pride of Austria and Vienna. When you stand under the Cathedral you feel its grandeur.

St. Stephan's north tower does not require climbing the stairs - there is a lift. However, the views are not that spectacular, considering the price. Gloriette at Schönbrunn Palace's Park offers much better ones for cheaper. Cash only. The cathedral itself is very beautiful. It might be worth to buy a tour ticket in order to see more of it (we didn't have time to do that, though).

This is the small tower of the Stephansdom, the one with the cyan copper roof. Funnily enough, it provides a better view of the city than the North tower because it isn't covered. The view includes details on the cathedral's roof that you can't see from the ground, and most of the city (except for what is behind the North tower). You also get a closer look at the intricate details on the aforementioned North tower. Getting up (and down) the tower is done via lift and is very fast.

Not so great, a walk up into a store with four windows. No viewing points or platforms, just narrow windows. Want my five bucks back..

This view is a complete JOKE!! To start with, the staircase is ridiculously narrow which makes people going up and down almost impossible. You would think it's worth being patient, but no: once you've reached the 'first floor', you don't have a proper platform on which you can admire the roofs of Vienna. Instead, tiny windows that are just large enough to take a few pictures. You keep going upstairs thinking you will have a better view because you haven't seen anything yet. HUGE MISTAKE: you end up in an under-the-roofs souvenir shop... of just a few square meters and overcrowded. What a terrible idea to put a shop there!!!! Going downstairs was equally painful. Some people asked us it is was worth going at the top, to which we said: definitely NOT!! We eventually argued with the cashier and luckily got our money back! I have never seen such a thing before while abroad... A few tips for whoever is in charge of this 'business': remove the shop at the top, widen the first floor windows if the architecture allows it (or create a path that enables to have a view), and either create an exit path elsewhere, or alternate ups and downs to avoid bottlenecks.

(Translated by Google) St. Stephen's Cathedral is the heart of Vienna! We climbed on foot to the north tower, 343 steps, the passage is narrow, for claustrophobes, it’s better not to go! The result is impressive, but not very much, a small room, look at everything through the glass in the windows, the view is not bad, but not at 6 Euro (Original) Собор святого Стефана-сердце Вены! (Translated by Google) Nice experience. Climbing a stone spiral staircase. Rise and rise, and eventually reach a kind of floor with small windows that you can see the city from. There are a few chairs to rest from the climb (probably don't want to stay here too much. Makes sense). There is a souvenir shop of course, and then you have to go back down the same stairs, which are now going up. But definitely worth it.

Above a beautiful view of Vienna and the roof of the cathedral. Only the pummerin is rather difficult to see through the reflecting windows. Still impressive. Stephensplatz is the heart of the city centre of Vienna. This is where you, first and foremost, find one of the most important attractions in the Innere Stadt - the UNESCO World Heritage St. Stephen's Cathedral. For many, this is where sightseeing begins in the city of Vienna. There are other architecturally interesting buildings including the late 19th-century Palais Equitable as well as the more recent Haas Haus building. You will also find expected souvenir shops, eateries as well as a conveniently located Stephensplatz U-Bahn (U1 and U3 lines) Station. Beyond the U-Bahn, a popular way to approach Stephensplatz is a walk along the historic Kärntner Straße or Grabenstrasse main streets which meet at the square. Alternatively, starting from Stephensplatz, you can venture along either of these pedestrian streets in the Innere Stadt for additional sightseeing and places to shop and eat.

Waste of money, the only advantage is a beautitul roof seen from this balcony. Besides, the bell is surrounded by bars and glass, nothing to be seen. The panorama is great - if only i didn't feel like in a cage, there are bars everywhere, very limited view and no climate of the place. very small space to see anything. Not worth 6 euros!

The view from the tower is nice. You can see the city and the beautiful roof of the cathedral. You can reach the tarrace by a lift. Upstairs you will also find a giant clock and that is pretty much it ;) If the weather is bad it's very windy there.

It has a gothic style that is really accurate in every detail and a majesty and imposing that will leave you speechless. I couldn't get up because they were renovating it, a real shame. However a visit is recommended. (Original) Insieme al tetto del Duomo, questa è la parte architettonica migliorie di tutta la chiesa.
