After exploring the Jewish Quarter, we strolled to this massive park. There are paths with views and lots of green space where we saw people sunbathing and picnicking. Inside the park is a World War II tower, an old palace, a museum, a pool, and a large playground. My six-year-old daughter loved the fenced-in playground. It comes with monkey bars, a fun swing, and two sandpits.

This park is located near the city center and very easily accessible. It is famous for the two high anti-aircraft bunkers that are located in different parts of the park. There is also a soccer field and many places to sit and enjoy a snack or meal. The park also hosts the building for Vienna's local porcelain factory. The park is really good for walking your pets/dogs.

Very spacious and nice park, very flat, perfect for a relaxed walk. There are two interesting towers that are actually high anti-aircraft bunkers from 2nd world war. The entire park seems very geometrical. The trees are tall and perfectly in line. The only minus is there are rarely any colors present during winters, mostly shades of brown. But that also has a certain charm. There are also playgrounds, table tennis, dog park etc.

Beautiful. Nature and well planned kids space made the day really relaxing. Picnic in the sun was great.

A large and welcoming park, anchored by a WWII-era flak tower acting as a stark contrast to the well-maintained grounds. A perfect spot to spend a quiet afternoon walking or reading.

Amazing old war time structures still preserved from WW2. The towers were used for air defense of Vienna.

Amazing park, very large, clean and fancy. It has many places to seat and relax, really nice and quiet atmosphere. The place includes some historical structures and botanic gardens, very recommended for photography and hiking. I had a great experience, and some good pictures to share.

Augarten is one of the most beautiful parks in Vienna. It is a great place to hang out for a walk , for a picnic, or to do some exercise. There are many places where you can lay down and take some rest and enjoy the beautiful view and fresh air. For kids, there are also many playgrounds. It is very beautiful with lots of beautiful flowers and everything is very well arranged. I loved it a lot, and I went there very often . I'm happy to have it near to my apartment.

One of the most beautiful parks in Vienna. Chill, lots of shade and sitting areas, dogs allowed, but there are parks for children where dogs are not allowed.

Nice public park with many grassy areas, some playgrounds for kids, public bathrooms and a couple of cafes. Also of note are the flak towers left over from WW2, very unique. Busy on weekends.

Definitely worth visiting this park if you can! The two WW2 era towers that loom over the trees are very cool. You can’t go inside either of them but they are very interesting to walk around. The park is quite large and there are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy a break.

It's a nice park, but it was hard to get out after 19.00 because all of the entrances gotlocked and we had to search for an exit for basically half an hour, than we found some other lost people and made it through the cafe entrance :)

The Augarten is a little off the tourist trail but a great spot to enjoy one of the quieter of Vienna’s parks. It is the oldest Baroque park in the city and is tucked away just along the road from Vienna Boy’s Choir concert venue. The park is overshadowed by an enormous relic of World War II, a hideous concrete flak tower (that is reputedly too reinforced to blow up). It certainly gives you pause for thought as you wander along the pathways. The park is also home to the Café Sperling which is a great spot for a drink. You won’t run into many tourists here!

Perfect place for a sunday walk you can see beutifull gardens and a part of ugly memorial of ww2 that remind us what was here in the past.
