Before
sharing
our
unfortunate
experience,
I
want
to
say
that
the
music,
bar
and
overall
vibe
in
this
place
is
fun.
I
lived
in
Vienna
a
number
of
years
ago
and
really
loved
Danzon,
but
we
had
a
really
unfortunate
experience
this
weekend.
On
Saturday
I
went
there
with
my
partner,
we
are
visiting
Vienna
for
a
few
weeks.
My
partner
is
black,
he
was
waiting
for
me
to
come
out
of
the
bathroom
and
was
approached
by
one
of
the
members
of
security,
an
older
man.
He
had
already
been
searched
when
we
came
into
the
club,
but
this
guy
start
insisting
that
he
needs
to
search
him
again.
I
came
out
and
asked
in
German
what
was
going
on.
The
guy
said
he
wanted
to
search
him
because
my
partner
had
"used
the
bathroom
too
many
times"
that
night
and
then
directly
asked
him
if
he
had
coke
or
pills.
At
that
point
we
were
about
to
leave
so
we
said
it's
fine
we
are
leaving,
but
the
guy
insisted
on
following
us
upstairs
and
kept
saying
"if
you
have
nothing
to
hide,
prove
it".
We
were
calm
and
my
partner
said
its
fine,
so
he
emptied
his
pockets
to
show
the
guy,
who
was
pandantic
trying
to
pat
my
partner's
pockets
to
make
sure
everything
was
empty.
He
went
through
his
wallet
and
even
took
out
panadol
in
the
packet
twice
to
ask
what
it
was.
He
just
wouldn't
stop,
even
though
we
were
actually
leaving.
He
kept
insisting
that
he
searches
many
people
like
this
and
it
wasn't
"cause
he
was
black".
Other
security
came
over
and
then
he
told
them
my
partner
had
been
in
the
bathroom
"ten
times"
which
was
nonsense,
we
had
been
in
the
place
around
two
hours
and
had
three
drinks.
After
several
double-checks
of
the
pocket
contents
it
ended
with
a
rant
about
how
it
wasn't
racism
but
that
he
checks
many
people
and
still
asking
my
partner
why
he
used
the
toilet
"so
much".
It
was
beyond
strange.
In
fairness
to
the
other
security
personnel,
I
think
they
were
somehow
embarrassed
that
it
had
gone
that
far
and
tried
to
speak
to
us
after,
and
said
they
hoped
we
had
a
nice
time
inside
etc.
And
had
been
friendly
when
we
came
in,
even
the
first
"search"
was
fine
as
the
guy
had
been
very
polite.
I
think
overall
this
place
is
fun
and
the
music
was
great,
but
it's
unfortunate
that
this
happened
and
from
the
reviews
seems
like
maybe
we
were
not
the
first
this
happened
to.
In
a
place
that
really
has
a
nice
vibe
cause
the
diversity
of
people
on
it,
its
a
shame
that
there
still
seems
to
be
a
racism
problem
with
certain
staff.
