This village is really one-of-a-kind. I'm drawn to the buildings here because of their colorful and unique architecture – it's truly amazing. f you appreciate places that are special and enjoy vibrant designs, you'll definitely fall in love with this quarter and its colorful building.

Definitely worth a stop however it is a bit further away from the city centre. This should be on your list of places to visit however shouldn’t be the top. The houses were beautiful on the outside and inside. The building is well preserved and the architecture is just wonderful. There are many souvenir shops here so it’s a good place to grab some.

Hundertwasser Village- Is one of the greatest accomplished work of art of this Austrian Mr. Friedensreich Hundertwasser as an architect and visual artist! I'm a fan of his architectural style of work and the use of colors and forms are fascinating for my eyes. It is worth to see this place! If you are in Vienna don't forget to visit this beautiful masterpiece of Art Building!

Amazing architecture from Hundertwasser, it's quite colorful and blends in nicely with the surrounding building. You can't enter the building since there are people that live in these apartments. However in the village there are also some souvenir shops.

Can be considered a new attraction mainly for sole travellers or backpackers in recent years. Quite an interesting place to explore and capture some shots. It is quite convenient to reach by tram from the city.

The building, which was built as a horse garage in the early 1900s, was purchased by Klaus Kalke in 1971 and started to be used as a tire workshop. After the Hundertwasser House opened, visitors who came to see this structure influenced the operation of the tire workshop. Since a large part of the Hundertwasser House was rented and used, visitors who were curious about the apartments could not see the inside of the building and occupied the surrounding area. The dialogue between Hundertwasser and Kalke evolved into the idea of creating Hundertwasser Village to welcome visitors. The tire workshop was redesigned based on Hundertwasser's ideas. This small village, with free entrance, perfectly reflects Hundertwasser's thoughts. You feel like you are in a fairy tale land while visiting the building, shopping at the store inside, or sitting at the cafe and having a drink. I liked the toilets the most!

It’s like a wonderland, which simply makes you happy by it’s vibrant colours and forms. There are many souvenir shops too! I wish I could be able to go inside one of the apartments there!

I've always wanted to visit this place. It's exactly as nice as in the pictures. I loved the houses as well as the little shops and the yard. Definitely worth a visit. It' s free. If you sit for a coffee or buy some souvenirs then that's what you have to pay for.

Nice art building, they painted the colors look like the candy. And different shape of building from normal. They have some souvenir shop, coffee shop both indoor & outdoor buildings. Recommended this place. Don't miss to visit this village if you come to Vienna.

Quirky tourist spot, a local artist turn to be architect. It s weird but one of a good place to visit in Vienna

Unlike the Hundertwasser Apartment, this place is far more catchy, especially for tourists. The neon lights, the beautiful plants and the extravagant architecture in the inside are perfect for taking some good pictures! I don't recommend buying souvenirs in here, because they're are overpriced, but I myself have bought some glittery postcards, and they weren't so expensive. There is also a cool bar inside.

A tourist trap sort of place. Filled with souvenir stores. Cafe inside. There is a write up on the wall referencing the Architect. Crowded place. Paid toilet within Premises as well.

Walking along the streets past similar buildings and streets, you suddenly come across something that resembles Gaudi's buildings. It's worth taking a closer look at this structure.

This place is like an inn with breathtaking interior architecture. I strongly suggest a visit here. There are lots of souvenir shops inside(I think the amount is a bit too much), a cafe, a restaurant and an art gallery.

A sight to see when visiting Vienna, the outside is really the interesting part, the shopping hall it's a bit of a touristic trap but it's definitely a place to check out.

A place with gallerys, shops and bar, nicely decorated but tipicaly for tourist. The house is one of the places to visit. in Vienna.

Nice concept village. Also it is a relaxing place with cooler breeze and a nice break from the city center.

Nice place to visit for an hour and take cool pictures. There is also a fake art museum close to this place that you can also visit while there.

Nothing crazy. The hundertwasser museum was temporarily closed but when we reached there it was just a few shops with overpriced souvenirs. Pay a visit if you’re staying close but honestly that’s it. YouTube makes it look more interesting than it actually is.

A cute, colorful landmark of Vienna, with interesting, unique architecture. Not as expansive as I thought from the photos, but a nice place nonetheless. One of the best places to get souvenirs and see or buy intricate paintings. There is a 0 euro souvenir bill dispenser around here. It costs 2 euro for this original yet gimmicky souvenir bill

Great spot for pictures and appreciation of the architecture. Worth visiting if you are already in the area, but not a destination.

I last visited this place in 2015. Since then, the colors have a bit faded and the number of tourists has increased. As there isn't that much to see and do, a little Hundertwasser-themed shopping village, just on the other side of the street, provides a useful destination to rest and have a drink, especially for those coming on foot from the city center.

An interesting place to visit. A lot of souvenir options. Not as interesting as the museum. This is mostly just shops with a lot of people. We did buy several things we didn't need though - well designed in this respect.

Really an amazing place to see. Not really much to do, but still nice. All the small shops, with the artistic souvenirs. A place you must stop and enjoy.

A place full of kitchy and artsy objects. If you are into that and you like this kind of hipster vibe it is 5 stars. Don't go otherwise or you will say that you wasted your time.

Cute but pretty small and random. I feel like its more of a tourists trap because there are more shops there than the actual "village". Its really close to Prater so you can do both in the same day.

It looks like a small mini Spain. You can drink or do some shopping inside.

  • 3/5 Linda C. 1 year ago on Google
Very crowded inside. Lots of shops More like a tourist place for souvenir Just a quick look. But close to it there is the museum. That is very worthy to watch.

    Amazing design and architecture

  • 3/5 Peter T. 2 years ago on Google
I didn't like it that much. Found very small and crowded. Only few shops. More like a drunken guy designing something. The fountain in front of the toilet is beautiful!

Nice place , close to city centre , some small shops for souvenirs.

So, i went to few Hubdertwasser buildings, this was not as good tbh. Not really worth it if you ask me. The bathrooms were ubique though, esp. The S*** Culture playing :)
