We did a free walking tour of Vienna with Anita and she was fantastic. She was enthusiastic, informative, and clear. I really enjoyed how she provided the key highlights of important dates, facts, and events that occurred in each of the locations. I would highly recommend this tour with Anita to any tourists (or locals!) in Vienna who are hoping to understand some of the key history that this city holds.

Having been so many walking tours in the world, this one run by Prime Tour is indeed the worst! The tour is very short to start with at less than two hours. The worst part is our guide Oksana makes it all about money, money and money. She starts to mention it at the beginning of the tour saying at least 20 -50 euros per person is “common” and “ reasonable “. At the end of the tour, she was so eager to collect money in kinda of pushy way stating that it is time to show “ your appreciation “ and “ time to pay”. To some degree, she don’t even bother to say thank you for some younger guests who pay a little bit less than she would have expected. She also demanded a group picture for her “marketing purpose “ and don’t even ask if anyone is interested in getting the group picture after all. So all in all, I won’t recommend this walking tour as it is poor quality, too commercial and totally disrespectful for guests.

This was a really good tour! First day in the city and a great way to see what Vienna had to offer, lots of great suggestions for places to visit and food to try. Christina was our guide and she was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Definitely would recommend this to other travellers.

This was such a nice & enjoyable walking tour. Me & my boyfriend decided the night before to book it to understand more about the history of Vienna and it’s architecture. Anna was very well versed & also gave out many suggestions such as places to eat and drink. Would recommend!

Great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Informative and lots of good recommendations after. Don't forget, even though it's free you should still tip your guide :)

The walking tour lasts 2 hours and takes you through the centre of Vienna, the world class destination of our summer vacation. The tour guide was well versed and humorous at the same time making time fly during the walk. Oh and also you pay as you wish making the event an excellent value case.

Really enjoyed the walking tour with Jan yesterday. Full of anecdotes, interesting historical facts, a great sense of humour and spoke at a pace that was easy to understand and clear. He effortlessly and honestly answered the questions we had, even on relatively sensitive WWII topics. We even started on time! Highly recommend Prime Tours for discovering the little secrets of Vienna.

I did the free night walking tour as I have arrived Vienna in the afternoon and it was amazing yo see Vienna when lights are already on, the architecture were magnificent! The best on this trip is our guide, Inga, she was so knowledgeable, soft spoken but funny, and most of all very patient and helpful that even after the tour was finished, she assisted everyone with their questions as to where to eat and where to go the next day (she suggested events and rave party too, lol!) I ran out of battery so I couldn't possibly go back to my hotel without a Google map so she walked me back to a place I was familiar with. As soon as I opened my phone, i saw her message with a list of all the places she suggested our group. Wow!

Our guide Ana was PHENOMENAL. She had so much historical and anecdotal information to share that it really made Vienna come alive. Highlights of the Classic Vienna Tour included Hofburg Palace, Vienna Opera House and Stephensdom.

The guide Anita was very nice and she was speaking loud and clear to the big group of 40ish people. She covered historical information as well as provided current Viennese lifestyle details and suggested activities and eating places in Vienna. Recommend the Vienna walking tour.

The English Vienna City Centre Tour with Katerina was one of the best experiences we had around Europe. She was so knowledgeable, professional. Her English was very good, she was so clear and she delivered an insightful yet entertaining tour of Viennese history and culture. Very highly recommended.

Very happy to have joined this tour with Christina. She explained the history in a way that I will remember it. Wish all my history teachers taught this way :P she also gave great recommendations for what to do in Vienna. I would recommend doing this tour on the first day and then planning out the rest of the stay.

Tobias was our guide and led us an informative 2 hour tour of Vienna. He was a wonderful storyteller and did a great job detailing the history and pointing out the architecture of Vienna. At the end of the tour he gave many dining and activity recommendations.

Very glad I joined this tour to get an understanding of the history and significance of the places of attractions I see. Great way to get to know Vienna quickly and prioritize what to see in the free time. Stephen was an excellent and engaging guide!

Christina is absolutely awesome! She’s every city visitors’ dream guide - extremely knowledgeable, funny and a wonderful story teller. She’s also considerate and keeps the group together, making sure everyone gathers before she starts to walk and talk. I’ve been to countless walking tours and she easily tops my list of most memorable and favourite ones. Of course, Vienna is a lovely city. But she makes the beautiful monuments, streets and parks speak and shine. A very stellar job done! ❤️

We did the “Explore Vienna Old Town” free 2-hour walking tour. Katharina Ebner was our tour guide. It was an excellent, entertaining and educational experience. She is knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Vienna. She was happy to answer questions and made us all feel welcome. I would definitely recommend a tour with Katharina.

Our tour guide, Rodrick Martin, was wonderful! It was a great introduction to Vienna. I will say though it was not very prompt. We arrived earlier than the time the tour is supposed to begin as instructed but we stood around waiting for more people despite a group of nearly 40 people ready to go. There were two tour guides so the group got split in two but we were on a tight schedule and waiting nearly 15 minutes after the tour was supposed to begin was unprofessional. All in all though it was a decent walking tour.

Great tour! Our tour guide, Konstanze, was awesome! She was very friendly, funny and provided us with great information. After the tour, we asked for recommendations to restaurants and sites around the area and all her suggestions turned out to be the best eating and sight seeing experiences we had in Vienna! If you have time to do this tour, we would definitely recommend it!

I attended two tours on the same day - the classic and then the 1900s. Both were given by Stefan - a super knowledgeable, super nice historian who knew Vienna, Austrian history and art history amazingly well and also told fascinating stories. Super recommended!

The tour guide Jan was great, knowledgeable, and funny. He gave us a very good overview of places not to miss in Vienna as well as their interesting history background. Tips on cafe and restaurants are also great (truly excellent food!). We would highly recommend this walking tour to everyone who visits Vienna for the first time.

We took the Jewish Quarter Historical Tour. I think the guides name was Sultan (or maybe Dultan - sorry, I'm bad with names). He was just absolutely excellent. His used to live in the area and his knowledge level was very impressive. We are well used to doing walking tours and have had some where the guide was winging it a bit, but this guide was knowledgeable on the topic as well as very sensitive about it. It's a very interesting tour about the history of Budapest as well as the history of Jewish settlement in the area.

We enjoyed the free walking tour with Katarina in Vienna. She provided interesting tours and provided more context to various sites, Austrian culture and history and gave us recommendations of other things to do in Vienna. The only downside is that the group was very large so sometimes it was difficult to hear everything but this didn't majorly affect our experience!

We had the tour with Christina and she was lovely. The tour itself was great, it makes you understand that every square inch has so much history. There is not much walking and you get the know the main things. Christina knows everything! She has so much knowledge and every question that you have, she has an answer. Highly recommend!

After our great Wien walking tour experience with Katarina I can only say, even learning about history can be a lot of fun and very interestingly explained. 😀 I strongly recommend it, cause I'm sure we wouldn't find that much interesting things in town on our own. Thank you very much! 👍🔝😀

I would recommend the tour to everyone as you are led through hidden alleys and get an interesting insight into the history of Vienna. You learn a lot of details in a fun, engaging way. Our tour guide tried to stop in shady, quieter places, which is why I was very grateful to him. Thank you for the great tour, Rick! (Original) Top Tour top Guide! (Translated by Google) The tour of street art was very informative and also fun. It started on time and the guide was also very knowledgeable. He could also answer most of the questions. Of course it is clear to me that in 2 hours you cannot illuminate the whole street art scene in Vienna and you cannot go anywhere where there are interesting works. But the tour through the Danube Canal is definitely sufficient to get a good overview here.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had fun facts to share in between the main stops if you stood close enough to the front of the group to hear him. The tour gave us a good idea of the history of old town Vienna, which is exactly what we wanted to get out of it! Would recommend!

I had a great time with prime tours. I went on both the walking tour and the street art tour and they were incredible. Anita made sure the walking tour was fun and informative even though it was freezing out. She did a great job telling the long history of Vienna and tying it into the facades of the buildings. Manuel led my street art tour and absolutely blew me away. He is a part of the street art community and told us stories about his friends and how they look at their art as a part of the larger Vienna community. This was my favorite part of my stay in Vienna.

I had a tour with Elizabeth on 24rd of November. She is amazing guide who made our tour amazing! That was the best walking tour I have ever had! She speaks very clear with very perfect intonation, no problems at all with understanding. Also, she told us so interesting things about the city, the history of Austria, so many interesting facts from nowadays about Vienna. Everything she said was very good structured, linked and with logical sequence. She is such a good tour guide, true professionalism. Thank you Elizabeth, it was pleasure to spent our time with you!

I was expecting much more historical information (I didn't properly read the website, I admit!), and the tour had an initial delay, which can happen, but then it has been fun, interesting and the guys are a nice bunch. They have taken us through the city, showing us the current culture of the city (the food, the very widespread graffiti activity, urban solutions), the old/museum/walls part (Big Mama and monuments), the food market and the evolution of the architecture in the last 100+ years, including different designs from palaces to council houses designed by famous architects. A nice experience.

I had a reservation for 4 people for the free tour and when we got there, they told us that we had to pay 8 to 10€ in advance or they didn't let us do the tour. When we asked them why (since it's supposed to be a free tour in which you make a donation AFTER the tour is over) the man in charge told us that this was the company's policy. We told him that this didn't make any sense and that if that was the case, the company was lying marketing it as a free tour. He then replied "yes I agree, this company is horrible". On top of that he told us that if we weren't happy there was a tour in Spanish taking place at the same time. I asked him if it was the same tour and he just rudely reply "well the Spanish tour is in Spanish and the English tour is in English". We left and then realised that the tours had different routes and were organised by different companies. Maybe the tour is good, I can't tell because that man didn't let us join unless we paid first. It was so weird, he treated us rudely, his "rules" didn't make sense and he was clearly against the company he worked for (Prime Tours).

They offered no more tours in Spanish and of course none at that time. We are not worth another day or another hour (I say it because in some of their answers they say it is easy to join the next tour) because we have other activities and organized visits. And is not the first time it happens, so I see in reviews. We were a group of 8 friends that booked for the tour. It's supposed to be a free tour so you should pay at the end of it depending on your experience. When we arrived at the meeting point, the guide told us that we should pay in advance half of the price of the tour. We told them it was a free tour and he just replied that if we were 8 he would probably get less money because we were a group. He was extremely rude and as we replied and tried to explain he just told us there were a spanish tour in the corner and that we could go there and not with them. I really don't recommend them at all.
