Vientiane Museum of Contemporary Arts
Museum
👍👍 Brilliant visit and worth the price. The “museum” is a massive collection of wood carvings of many different subjects on lots of different types of timber. There are also some large scale paintings on slabs of timber. The “contemporary” part is that these are mostly recently completed pieces. If...

Having visited here, we...

Fountain
Tourist attraction
👍👍 Go in the evenings and wait for a fountain sound and light show to begin. It's free and it's also beautiful!
Watch out if standing too close to the edge of the fountains - sometimes the fountains cover people in water! The good thing about that is it made people blocking the view move away!
