This place is just wow, the ambiance is beautiful, and the food is superb! The service is wonderful. Just when you enter you smell a very nice clean place and was not wrong it is indeed very clean, and comfy. This place is also value for the money, with quality food and a good quantity of food served here. The waiter and the owner are very friendly. Amazing experience. Check it for yourself 5* 🥂🥂🥂

I had a delicious dinner here with my partner a few nights ago. I had the tapas which was so tasty and full of flavours! My partner had the vegan Chorba Soup and the Pastilla which he loved too. For dessert we shared a plate platter of sweet pastries, macaroons and homemade ice cream. Every single bite was delicious. The restaurant area had a lovely, homely feel to it and the owner, Bob, and our waiter were both very friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

INCREDIBLE! That is the best word I can use to describe this place. The ambience is stunning, the food is a delightful experience in it of itself, but by far the best of it all is the SERVICE. We were served by a young man who was friendly, helpful and very quick-witted. His English was impeccable as well, making this place a great destination for expats and tourists in Vientiane. Cafe Fes has definitely become one of my favorite restaurants in town, and has by far the best middle-eastern food in all of Laos

I've been there twice and tried a few of their dishes: Chicken Tagine - Really tasty, best dish for me 5/5 Seafood Paella - Pretty good 4/5 Beef Tagine - a bit bland, no distinct flavor 3/5 Salad - 2/5 tasted unfamiliar, one of the salads but don't remember the name Baclavas - 2/5 quite expensive for the portion size Tapas - interesting variety: Olive Spread 5/5 Baba Ghanoush 3/5 Crab Bacon 4/5 Serrano Ham & Cheese 1/5 (didn't know it would be stinky cheese! wish the menu or the waiter warned us about this, you might like it though if you like stinky cheese like blue cheese) Chorizo Guac 2/5 I didn't like the smell of the chorizo Overall: Food 3/5 - some were good but some were not for me, maybe i'm just not familiar with Moroccan cuisine Prices 3/5 - reasonable, not the best value but not expensive either (except for the baclavas) Interior 5/5 - nice and unique decor Service 5/5 - staff was friendly and helpful Overall I'd go back with a friend wants to go, but probably not suggest this restaurant unless a friend specifically wants to try something new and different.

I came to Cafe Fes as I’d seen it advertised and am always looking for new and exciting vegan food. On my first visit I had the vegan chorba which was really nice and served with lovely bread, my 2nd visit was the best so far, I chose the vegan cous, I didn’t really know what to expect (other than cous cous) so was pleasantly surprised with its presentation, flavour and how much there was 😁 the dish was fabulous and just what I needed. I also tried the pistachio vegan ice cream which was delicious. For my next visit I really want to try the vegan tapas 😁 Over all really nice staff, well priced and tasty food. The owner seems to understand vegan well which gave me confidence in choosing my dishes.

Wonderful food- the beef tagline with prunes & almonds & couscous with Merguez & chicken were delicious. Over the top! Home made ice cream - pistachio , toasted almond & chocolate/ strawberry- creamy & smooth as well were full of flavor. Homemade chocolate chip cookie, ginger snap, pistachio baklava & almost crescents with orange blossom were yummy! Great ambiance, music & wait staff.

I didn't like the restaurant. Bland food. I expected a lot of spices. It smells bad in the restaurant, even on the second floor.

Deliciousness and flavorful! Discovered Cafe Fes at the European Film and food Festival in Laos. Ordered the CousCous Chicken Marquez- Couscous, lamb, chicken, and so much other goodness that created a burst of happiness for my tongue. Could have eaten more than the huge serving provided. Will def hit up his restaurant. Ummm, help yourself and do the same. Ate at a festival which was so much fun so all other facets were amazing. It's a yes for me.
