The food was amazing . Mojitos are easily the best I've had in Vientiane The service was excellent, Mr Mohamed was very friendly he came several times to check if everything was ok. It was my first visit to the restaurant and I’ll definitely come back! I highly recommend it.

Cannot recommend this place enough, true authentic Egyptian food with great cocktail/drinks menu. I’d highly suggest anything beef, but the chicken was amazing aswell; just a personal preference. You MUST eat here, the owner is amazing. Loved it!!

Very nice restaurant with delicious food, great Turkish coffee, service and a wonderful owner! Came here at my first day at Laos because it was close to my Hotel and was totally pleasant with this choice. Owner kindly explained me about dishes, I wanted lamb so chose lamp Kofta and some mixed deserts with really great Turkish Coffee. Also owner gave me good recommendations about where better to go for walking at the evening and even his restaurant phone number in case if I need some help or more recommendations during my short staying in Laos. Place where you want to come back to. Thank you for your care, great food and service!

The food here is really special! Lots of vegan options to choose from and everything we ordered was delicious. We're just in the city a couple days and stopped by here late at night because it was nearby and still open. We were pleasantly surprised how friendly and attentive the owners are and how flavorful the food was. Wish we can go again someday.

What a great little restaurant. The most friendly and helpful host and his wife. Amazing home cooked Egyptian dishes (even grandma gets involved to keep it traditional). Everything on the menu is extremely delicious and all at a very reasonable price. What more can I say? We’ll be back soon.

located slighly close to the main shoppinh center and downtown few steps from khouvieng road. It is the only real egyptian restaurant in Vientiane. Very large menu for adults and kids vegeterian and non vegetarian, good service. A bit costy considering Laos about 300.000 kip person roughly means around 20 usd per person

First time to eat Egyptian food and it was a pleasant experience. The service was great with food recommendations and care. Food was delicious and interesting to try something new. Portions are huge. Really enjoyed the dessert. Would go again if I had a chance.

Hi, had a great meal here, and the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. We found it a bit pricey however at $30. Mohammed, I was there with Ms Terry Kinane and in your reply to her you mention a combination of dishes which we did not have. We didn't have meat, macaroni, spaghetti, chickpeas, koshery, or lentils!! We did have a mixed plate of hummus and baba, one falafel pitta, one feta sambousek, and two waters and one black tea. The food was very good and authentic, but seemed costly for Lao I'm afraid.

Nice place to chill at night time. Reasonably priced halal food. Place is tucked among local food shops, quite easy to miss it.

We have just been there. All the food that we ordered is WONDERFUL!! We recommend all of you the Koshery and Hawawshi even we only tried it for the first time 🤣. Furthermore, the owner’s vibe is to make us comfortable; he’s friendly and well-organized for the food and beverages. This place’s gonna be my top 3 restaurants!! <333

The fantastic Egyptian food and the spectacular service provided by the owner made our visit to the restaurant the beginning of one of the most fun evenings I've had in ages. Be warned, the food is pricey compared to local food at street markets or restaurants (although very worth of you want to eat Egyptian food in Vientiane!), so keep it in mind if you're the typical backpacker on a tight budget. After dinner, the owner made sure to make our group feel comfortable and helped us solve several questions that we had, literally going miles out of his way to help us out. If I lived in the city, I would become a regular customer at the restaurant and try to befriend the owner - what an a remarkably lovely person!

The food was delicious. We had the chicken fateh and Arabic beef shawarma and it was all very flavorful. We also had the yoghurt, honey, and mint drink, which was very refreshing. The host was very welcoming. There was a bit of a wait for the food but it was well worth it. We'll definitely be going back.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but I hope this can help to improve the restaurant and can be useful for management. Super friendly and welcoming owner, however, the food quality was not so good. The portions were large, bur we had this feeling that the food was not freshly made. Like all the dishes were assembled from precooked things that were kept in a fridge for at least a day. I had a foul tahini which actually was some stewed veggies (including cabbage which tastes really weird in a foul) in a tajin with a few fava beans and tahini sauce and I expected a foul to be just cooked mashed fava beans. Foul is my favourite dish and I ate it more than 1000 times in different countries and unfortunately this one was the worst. It feels like they just put some precooked veggies together with precooked fava beans, with not so fresh tahini, and with low quality oil. So together it was just a super oily mixed precooked ingredients which did not taste fresh and nice as foul should. My friend had a mixed chicken platter which tasted like pan fried defrosted chicken. Definitely not freshly grilled one. Didn’t taste bad, but didn’t taste fresh. It was just mediocre. Two mains, a salad and two beverages for KIP 510k. The place looks a bit run down but clean. + 1) Friendly, nice, welcoming owner 2) Clean 3) Vegan options - 1) Not fresh 2) Huge menu (it is much better to have less choice but make everything fresh) 3) Everywhere smells like cigarettes hence the owner was smoking inside the restaurant on the first floor

Fantastic place! Good Egyptian kitchen, lots of foods to choose from. Great tasting food, BEST BEST BEST coffee I've had in Asia. Super friendly staff that's always willing to help. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or passing through Vientiane to stop by and have a drink. You won't regret it

Amazing Egyptian and Arabic restaurant, hygiene level 100%, the owner and the staff are so kind. I had fava beans with a falafel plate, tahini and hummus. Unique and highly recommended

We had a delicious meal here: starter of baba ghanoush followed by two different vegetarian wraps. The flavours were outstanding. The owner was extreemly nice and attentive. The only downside was that we were too tired to stay for a few drinks afterwards!

😠 I ordered fresh orange juice, but it doesn't taste good. The air conditioner does not blow in the indoor window. The children are too noisy. I have no intention of visiting next time.

🫤 Quite underwhelming experience. The reviews here seem to be high but I had the opposite. I came here with my partner, and the melon shake was bland. It was watery and it had no taste whatsoever. We also had the Four Cheese pizza here (which costed 155000 Kip), but it tasted like cheap cheap mozzare...
