👍 Nice food with good wine. The interior is nothing special but the Italian chef gives his best to serve the dishes. The staff need more training to take care of customers' table. People often mention Italian, pizza, dishes, buffet, excellent, good, Vientiane, Laos, menu, pasta,

Lovely authentic Italian food in Vientiane. The place is run by a very courteous Italian chef who has lived in Laos for years. The menu has many options but we went straight for mains. My friend had the ravioli bologna and I had the spinach and cheese ravioli. Both were nice made with a generous filling and topped with a flavourful tomato sauce. Mop up the extra sauce with the lovely bread basket and the amazing garlic and tomato dip. We also had the marinara pizza which was without cheese but bursting with flavour. No dessert and drinks and the meal cost us 25 USD for two people. Surely worth a try.

Just wow. The most delicious Italian food I ate in Laos, by far. Can easily compete with restaurants in Europe. The pasta and gnocchi were just great, one of the best I've eaten. The service is kind and pleasant. Compared to Laos, the prices are a bit expensive, but still quite reasonable in relation to what you get. Highly recommended for anyone who want to pamper themselves!

This is such a nice restaurant with so many different options for food - I bet there is something for everyone. They also have a bunch of different vegetarian options including a really delicious lasagna and even an option to build your own pasta. You should definitely go here!

The pizza was not good. Not crispy and the mushrooms are out of a can. I expected a much better one for the rating. Service is really friendly and fast. The other foodbi cant rate but other guest seemed to be happy about their food.

I’m so disappointed for second visit. I ordered Tiramisu to take out , first waiter told me , he need to confirm is it still have or not . But few mins , he back replied : yes, still have and please wait few mins . Wait around 10 mins , I back to my room , when I open Tiramisu , I saw is a cake with cream and some cocoa powder , taste is really bad , this is not a Tiramisu . I think if don’t have Tiramisu , can refuse but don’t lie and do the fake tiramisu .

I’ve had better Italian food for sure, but the dishes here are pretty decent and they try to make it authentic! The carbonara was done the authentic way, without cream, which I appreciated. The gnocchi wasn’t my favourite but I still finished it. I liked the pizza and ravioli a lot more 💙

Weekday lunch buffet and Sunday brunch buffet are excellent quality at a reasonable price. Great variety! Very welcoming and kind servers. Warning: you will leave 5 kg heavier 😅

Been coming here for a fair few years now and really only have pizza, and they're one of, if not THE Best in Vientiane. They also have plenty of other dishes on offer. This time round had the Nduja sausage and eggplant pizza. Was great. Price is right, too, for what you get. And the waiter knows what he's doing. The ONLY pizza I've had that has a minor issue is the tuna and onion. Although it tastes great, the center can be a bit soggy, I guess, due to the moisture from the tuna.

We ordered pizza and pasta. It was surprisingly very good given Vientiane is more known for French food rather than Italian. As baseline we come from Melbourne, Australia which has excellent Italian.

Real Italian pizza and good service and stuff, good wine and another food. Maybe expensive then in another places but I'm thinking that I not loose money. Very good food and service.

Wide variation of food in Sunday brunch. Despite not-well cook sea bass for us, the rest items were in standard, worth for 300k+. I love their dessert esp Macaron.

Food was excellent and the service was excellent as well. What impressed me the most though is that the owner/manager (I’m not sure which) was kind enough to take the time to ask me how my meal was and check on me and also he thanked me for my patronage on the way out as well. I wish more places had people that genuinely cared as much about their business as he did. True hospitality and I will be back the next time I’m in Laos. Cheers! (ps. The wine was excellent and the Penne was cooked to perfection ‘al dente’ as the Italians say)

Genuinely surprising to find authentic Italian cuisine of this quality in Laos, Vientiane. Fantastic array of dishes at very economical prices. Cannot recommend enough!

We do our best to eat as local as possible when travelling but we walked past this place and had to go in Absolutely loved this place. The food is amazing and the gnocci is to die for. You won't be disappointed.

They have gluten free pasta - spaghetti, penne and fusilli. It’s nice to have different shapes to choose from! They have a wide range of dishes and you can amend them by adding extras.

The lovely chef made us a special vegan Christmas course meal with a reservation. What a treat! Their homemade vegan cheese is the best in Asia.

Spoiler alert: I’m Italian so I’m naturally picky with Italian food. My food was very greasy (following the general misconception that Italian food is based on melted cheese). The pizza base was meh, the aubergine parmigiana missed the essential features of a parmigiana, the lasagne were a blob of melted cheese, the creme brûlée was basically solidified cream. I surely left the restaurant with my cholesterol through the roof. Ah they were supposed to charge me +3% for credit card payment (weird per se) but they ended up charging me +300% LOL. Mistakes can happen, but lucky me I double checked the receipts.

Tasty fresh Italian food, Italian chef inside. We had pizza and ceasear salad. Check the menu because it is expensive for Loas.

One of the beat Italian restaurant in Vientiane. Been here a few times. Excellent pizza. They share menu with Al Capone. Same italian owner. Reasonably price with the quality food you get in which mainly imported!

I went here for the Sunday brunch buffet and it was probably one of the best buffets I've ever been to. The way it works is you get a menu of different dishes and you can order however many you want, however many times you want. Each dish you order is a small portion, so it's easy to sample a lot of different dishes. While you're waiting you can get unlimited items from the salad bar which includes many varieties of cheeses, desserts, prosciutto, and some hot items like ribs. Drinks include espresso coffees and freshly squeezed fruit juices. You'll even be given a fresh slice of pizza and a grilled oyster. The pizza was some of the best I've had in Laos - awesome thin crust with chewy dough and marks from the wood fired pizza oven. Because all the items on the menu are made to order, the taste is absolutely excellent for each. This is not your typical buffet where foods just sit under a heat lamp. The steaks and duck are prepared by sous vide and very tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I had never been to a buffet where the foods were so consistently *delicious* and certainly never been to one where foods were prepared by sous vide. I found myself slowly savoring the taste of many dishes, something that I wouldn't ever do at a normal buffet. For all intents and purposes, this buffet is basically an all-you-can-eat tasting menu of a fine dining establishment. Service is excellent, foods are freshly cooked, flavors are amazing, and I wholeheartedly recommend coming!

Came here for the 1 meter pizza but the guy who usually makes it is in Hua Hin. Sadge. On the upside quality is still excellent as expected of Acqua.

Real Italian ALDENTE pasta with range of delicious cuisine and wine. Sunday brunch is fantastic and reasonable price (198000kip per person) Napoletana style pizza from big stone oven slightly burnt and smell of woodsmoke.

A beautiful selection and variety of flavours from the buffet, especially the seared aubergine, which really jumped out. Outstanding supreme duck chosen from the three dishes one could order. Sublime dessert 'tastings'-just the right proportions as well. I'd read some complaints about the prices from the menu, but the 108,000 kip lunch buffet couldn't really be cheaper considering the quality.
