We had booked a street food tour and spent a fabulous evening with our guide Gen. She provided us with a wealth of information about the restaurants we visited and the stories behind them, which contributed to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the places. The tour included various stops, all within easy walking distance. In total we visited five different places, each with its own unique atmosphere and delicious food. Although Gen told us she was fairly new to the role, she did an excellent job. Her passion and knowledge made the evening a memorable experience. I highly recommend this tour and especially Gen as a guide. She exceeded our expectations and really enriched our street food experience.

Lucy, our guide was great. We had the pleasure of being the first private group to take a trekking tour with her. Together we could discover the secrets of the national park with its large number of plants, trees and caves. It was really great to hike with Lucy and also the lunch in the middle of the national park was really great and tasty. In the end we also visited the primate rescue center and it was great to see, that they really take care of endangered species. Our driver was great as well, men, he know the national park in and out and gave us quite the driving experience, which was great ;-)

Radley was a wonderful guide and was extremely knowledgeable about Vietnam’s history and culture. He was very kind and patient with us, happily answering all of our questions. He picked us up in the morning and the driver drove us between sites. Wonderful experience!!

Typical itinerary, nothing really special. It’s basically just people taking you to a few shops to eat food. The guides were friendly but not professional - changed meet up point last minute (from hotel pickup to meet at the office), then tour guide arrived late and did not seem to know much about history to really any real insights to Vietnam. Overall mediocre experience. The cycle tour at the end was very boring and would not recommend. No guide and you don’t see anything of significance.

One of the best tours in my life. I booked a foody bike tour from them and got a special experience. Both Mr. Mike and Mr. Steven were really great. They were very skillful in English. They had a wide range of knowledge about Vietnam, Hanoi and food which they never tried to tell you. Their driving skills were also great with safety. They brought us to many interesting tourist spots including Hanoi Opera House, the 36 alleys, St Joseph Church and more. They also took us to many delicious local food shops that we never tried before. All the dishes were great. If anyone wants to experience motorbike riding, local food, tourist spots and learn some history, I really strongly recommend them.

Was part of the last time slot for the food tour. Had a wonderful evening trying authentic Vietnamese cuisine while taking in the various sights of the Old Quarter. The food was definitely delicious! My guide, Nick, was very knowledgeable about the history of each dish and I learned a lot. He also went above and beyond by ensuring that we were always safe while walking on the streets, and offering his restaurant recommendations for me to try other Vietnamese food. Highly recommended!

I had booked a private food tour very last minute (I was worried it wasn't enough notice) but they happily took my booking and arranged all. My guide Lucas was fantastic, very comfortable and helpful in explaining about the places, the history, the local perspectives and general aspects of things (like how to cross the roads properly 😂) and just good company. The food was all excellent and the absolutely amazing dry pho as suggested by Lucas was the best pho I ever had in my life! The walking from location was varied across the old quarter and saw much of what I would have missed if I was alone trying to find special places to eat. Very highly recommended! Thank you Lucas

We had a fantastic time. This was such a unique tour.. walking through lanes lined with cafes, quaint shops.. so much of life and colour. We would never have done this on our own.. so happy to have had a tour guide as Paul from Crossing Viernam Tour to take us on this wonderful trip. And it was a vegetarian food tour to top it off. My partner and I embarked on four different guided tours during our Hanoi trip last December, but the private scooter tour, led by Haley and Tommy, was the one we enjoyed the most. They were both very sincere and knowledgeable. They were both fluent in English; we enjoyed chatting with them and getting to know more about Vietnamese culture. The food places they introduced knocked our socks off. Whizzing around Hanoi on a scooter was fun and helped us cover more ground than in a walking tour etc. Haley and Tommy also made sure we got back to the hotel in time for our next appointment. two thumbs up!

I had the best time on the Instagram-Worthy Tour!! Tyler was super knowledgeable and took me to so many great places. Seeing Hanoi on the back of a motorbike was so much fun. Tyler was super easy to talk to, I felt like I was seeing the city with a friend! Even though the weather was colder than expected and a bit rainy, we made the best of it. It was our first day in Hanoi and this was the perfect tour for trying new food and places we wouldn’t have come across on our own. We were both vegetarians and the food was amazing. I particularly loved the summer rolls and noodles and the different coffees. Sarah was super friendly and told us about the many different influences Vietnam from history. Train street was also another highlight for me, where we got some nice photos and a good laugh

Had an amazing afternoon tasting the local food through Hanoi and finishing up tasting egg coffee whilst watching the train rushing by at train street! Our guide Lyna was incredible! It was such a pleasant experience. My tour guide Travis was EXCELLENT, very informative and accommodating. He made it a point that I enjoyed the whole tour. He brought me to the places I requested and took a lot of nice pictures for me. He even suggested the best places to eat that are not expensive. We had so much fun! Bucky and Bob are excellent tour guides. They showed us around places that only the locals know. They are friendly and are both good story tellers. We get to know the history of Hanoi and also try out the sugarcane juice n salt coffee. They are so tasty! The motorbike riding experience in the city center of hanoi is one of a kind! A must try.

We booked a vegetarian food tour and had the pleasure of being led by Dan the Man. Dan took us to 5/6 Street food places that we would never have found, let alone tried. He carefully explained how the dishes he ordered for us were made. Every one was delicious and finally completed with that famous egg coffee. Dan explained about the culture and history of Hanoi as we walked. He did us a great favour by changing the time of our puppet theatre tickets. Fantastic food tour led by this great young man. Xxx

Lo Thi Khu our trekking guide in SaPa, was excellent! Throughout our 2 day trek, she was professional and attentive and provided us with a rich understanding of the culture and customs of the area. Some of the nice gestures from her included: providing us with ‘waking sticks’ made of bamboo. These helped us greatly during the trek through muddy terrain. Being caring and attentive to support my wife during the trek as her knee was weak. In general, she is very help, attentive, and punctual. We will definitely engage her again if we come back to trek again!

We booked the food walking tour and it was extraordinary! Thank you Austin, you showed us many hidden gems we missed and didn’t know existed. The Banh my was so good we went back the next day. This was not just a food tour, but an informative tour around the Old Quarter. Super impressed 10/10.

Excellent food tour that took us to 5 stops and provided us all sorts of traditional food from street vendors. Sarah was tons of fun and an excellent tour guide who gave interesting background one each dish and culture of Vietnam. We also saw a water puppet show as part of the tour.

I signed up Hanoi Food tour through Klook. Eric is tour guide. We went for 3 main course and 2 dessert. Eric would check with us our dietary requirements before proceeding to bring us to suitable food of the day for the whole group. This group at 4pm has 4 tourist only. Eric is superb to give us background history of the food. The trip ends in a cafe near beer street in the evening. Beautiful indeed. Highly recommended.

I had a great time on the Hanoi Old Quarter Food Group Tour! It was a treat to be able to try a variety of Vietnamese foods and hear a bit about the foods and restaurants. We tried things I probably wouldn’t have even known about had I gone on my own. Jennifer was an excellent tour guide! I would definitely recommend.

I loved every moment of my bike tour with Ha. He's knowledgeable and quite witty, never a dull moment. He also explains the history and heritage of each place you visit quite well. The food tour is highly recommended for first time travelers in Vietnam as it provides the basics of Vietnamese cuisine. Our tour guide, Hannah, was very knowledgeable on the best local food spots within the Old Quarter while sharing some background on each of the dishes and proper dining etiquettes. Our guides were Tony and Steven! They were punctual to pick us up and were very patient in introducing the history of Hanoi and Vietnam at every attraction we stopped by. Lunch option was well thought out to not have Banh Mi or Pho as we had that prior to the trip. They brought us to a dry Pho place which was super tasty! I felt super safe during the whole commute from point to point, Steven rode very steadily. Highly recommend to join this bike tour when you are in Hanoi!

We had an awesome trip with the guide, Bruno. Firstly, we were asked if we had any wishes for places to visit. We choose to let him decide. A good choose. This were a very good way to explore Hanoi. Multiple places were not on our “to-see-list” but we were so happy to see these places! Lastly, when the trip were over, they offered to drop us off anywhere we liked in the old quarter. I had one short day to enjoy in Hanoi. Of all the communications I have had in planning this trip, Harley at Crossing Vietnam Tours, was the best of the best!
