My diet is gluten and lactose free, difficult to get around in any restaurant and here is no exception. The gluten free bread they give you in a plastic packing is hot but as it begins to cool it gets very hard and tastes like a non flavoured chewing gum in the middle, horrible. I had hake with some vegetables, which I had asked for well done but they were crispy. Anyway, a beautiful, popular place with great food as long as you're not outside the mainstream eating habits.

A fancier establishment serving avant-garde dishes in the Bouzas neighborhood of Vigo. The dinning room is spacious and bright with room for larger groups. The dishes that we had were very good with a presentation to match. The calamari and octopus with clams starters were some of the best we've ever had. Our main dishes of fish and pork were just as good. There is a good selection of local and national wines as well as draft beer. A great place to visiting of you're into good food.

If perfection exists, then 'LaCarpiteria' is it. We went for a take-away lunch - if you can call salt cod and 'zamburiña' rice, together with a warm pickled partridge and caramelised onion and pear salad a 'take away'! Elena was, as always, charming and super helpful. Price VERY reasonable given the quality. Please go (ring to order first), you never will be disappointed - the choice is amazing.

Great experience - worth all the stars he gets. Menu is composed by a great variety of plates, each better than the previous one. A complete experience in which not only taste is involved.

Fantastic service, exceptional food (we both had fish dishes with wonderful appetizers), and an excellent selection of wine. This is a great dining experience.

Great place in Vigo! Loved this place, amazing food created by a group of chefs mixing the traditional Galician food with new trends and innovations. Fresh daily fish from local market, low temperature pork, lambs and eggs, truffles, mushrooms and much more… the best is the Pintxo de cocido gallego! Brutal! Award winning plate… fair good wine list as well. We fell for the desserts and a strong variety of flavors!

País Vasco restaurante The menu is very original and the food is really delicious. The restaurant has received the title of “the best pinchos” (I guess “the best in Galicia”, not sure), and indeed its worth it. I would recommend trying “Ensalada Templada de Vieira, Atún rojo, Queso, Calabaza”! Very unusual taste 👌🏻👌🏻 And for the first time in Spain , tried“El pimento padrón” cooked in the original way

WOW WOW WOW. If you have the opportunity, dine here. Food, wine, service, atmosphere, all exceptional. This husband and wife team and their staff have it all right. Wonderful fresh, local fare, seafood and meat, exquisitely prepared with their special take. So flavorsome. We had croquettes and salmon with avocado to start and extraordinary lamb (wow) and fish for main. Husband is chef. Wife is pastry chef and has a national award for her take on apple pie. Desserts were exceptional, truly. A good wine list, all high quality and great value, as was whole meal. Carpenteria is in an old carpentry shop where they fixed wooden boats. Great location. Worth traveling to.

Excellent place, great starters croquetas, kalamari etc I had hake, fresh from the boat, which was outstanding! The wine list features some good choices, not expensive. Friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend !

Spent the last 3 weeks traveling in north of Spain. This was the best meal we have had to date by far. Highly recommend. Everything was absolutely incredible.
