Dinoseto

Tourist attraction

😠 Incredible that the councilor of I don't know what has put it where it can't be seen. It was a tourist attraction now it doesn't even reach the bush. How much will the councilor earn? And you, Mr. Mayor, are you only good for taking photos and putting up lights? Where he is, in his office I imagine....

One more symbol of the city, taking a photo with it is a mandatory stop. But it is not always in the same place, be careful, you have to look for it.

Very typical living sculpture of the city of Vigo. Before it was located in Puerta del Sol, but now it is in the Alameda de Vigo... A less central place (despite being just 100 meters away), but very pleasant to enjoy a walk.

It was previously a fun place to visit in the city, because of how funny and iconic the bush was. Currently it looks quite neglected and dilapidated.

I wanted to see the Dinoseto because in the photo it looked very funny and cool, maybe that's why I actually saw it as a bit tacky, however I didn't miss taking a photo with it.

😐 The Bay of Vigo was mentioned in the book “20 000 Leagues Under the Sea” written by Jules Verne. After publishing his book, he visited the city of Vigo aboard his yacht Saint Michel III. The bronze sculpture, made in 2005, was to commemorate to centenary of the death of the writer.
