I appreciated the dining experience and the food, but considering the 1 Michelin star, it didn't quite reach the level of amazement for me. The service was polite but wasn't overly warm or attentive. We did the €80 tasting menu which consisted of 3 snacks (included bread as a snack), 4 dishes, 1 dessert and petit fours). My favourites were the salmon with avocado and monkfish. Some of the other dishes were too rich and flavours lacked balance, and I would've expected more for a restaurant of this calibre.

Sensational food experience. All courses were amazing. Service was superb, especially the lady waiter. At the end of diner, chef who is the owner of the restaurant came for a nice chat with us. Strong recommendation!

Best restaurant in town. Fine dining. 1 Michelin star.

Cozy place with great food, the menus are great if you like to discover new tastes, remember to book a table in advance and keep in mind that if you want to try the menus you can not order from the "À la carte". The menus are served full table. The desserts are to die for. Really nice service but a bit slow serving (which makes sense considering the detailed gourmet foods they prepare). Totally worth it.

We had the tasting menu and paired wine, while sitting at the bar and watching the chefs working. Incredible experience. The food was utterly delicious; apart from a few dishes that were simply "good", most had my eyes rolling in appreciation. The wine was for me not anything special. Would recommend sitting at the bar. Seeing the chefs in action, hearing them present the food and sharing some jokes with them was what pushed the experience from great to very memorable. Made our time in Vigo even more special!

We had the "Essential" degustation with paired Galician wines. This was the beat meal we have had in our journey across France, Spain and Portugal. It was a memorable experience sitting at the bar watching the team working so seamlessly; it was like watching a well choreographed ballet. Everyone moved smoothly. There was deft communication, impeccable timing, not to mention the understated serving by Rafa himself. The food was excellent with the pork belly being a standout. We dug the 1980s tunes which created a cool ambiance and we would go to Vigo any day, just to dine here again. If you are in the region, make an effort to dine here.

Quite disappointed of our experience. Food was nothing special (we went 3 weeks ago and don't even remember a special dish...), service was nice. Unfortunately they accepted a family with 2 small kids next to us, which killed the whole Michelin atmosphere. We love eating in Michelin-starred restaurants, unfortunately this was one of the least memorable experiences and actually the one of Galicia I least enjoyed. You can have delicious food everywhere in Galicia, rather go to a normal restaurant and keep your Michelin experience for somewhere else.

The service did not meet the standards expected of a Michelin-level establishment. Food was correct but not exceptional

It was certainly a special experience, in a good way. Our 8 course meal was a journey of beauty and taste. Each dish was carefully put together. Be aware it is difficult to get a reservation as the restaurant has limited tables. We could only get a table for lunch.

Nice experience and food. Service was nice as well, but definetely not on my top 1-star michelin restaurants. Many other better restaurants in Galicia for thst price. We paid 158 for two, including a 26 eur maridage for one which was not according to the place (specially for the portuguese wines). Hope this helps!

Outstanding food by chef Rafa Centeno! We enjoyed the multi course tasting menu which was comparable to Central in Lima in the creativity and presentation. It was one of the best restaurants we had tried in northern Spain We intend to make another trip to Vigo just to eat at ML!

It's a well worn phrase in reviews to say 'the best food I've ever had' but what I can say about Maruja Limon is I've definitely had nothing better, especially when it comes to tasting menus. Very playful and surprising, with a twist! It's also a measure of a restaurant and it's chefs when they can adapt so quickly and effortlessly. As we sat down the maitre'd asked if we had any allergies and we came back with our stock answer 'Nothing. Oh, except squid ink' (for my wife). She laughed and we quickly guessed why: one of the many small dishes was going to feature it. She said not to worry and they would swap it out. To this day we still have no idea what was the replacement dish because Every. Single. Dish. was truly exquisite, kicking off with four immaculately bedecked leaves from a local coastal plant that tasted exactly like... oysters! And so the experiences continued until we got to the end - with magical homemade petit fours. And the twist... that just wasn't the end. Two dessert tastes were then brought out, accompanied by the lightest (local) sweet wine 'I have ever tasted' 😉 Cheque please! (See you next year x) PS. Tried to take a few pics but the dishes taste waaaaay better.

Kindest staff. Great food and wonderful presentation. Fish forward. And if you call they can accommodate a vegetarian or vegan.

I was in November 2022. Interestingly we were the only ones in restaurant. Food was tasty, special and ofc very good presented. I enjoyed my evening there. They explained also in English. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and the restaurants atmosphere. We paid around 180 euro for 2 tasting menus and glasses of wine.

Had the 65€ tasting menu, it was really nice - especially the last 3 courses (the 2 desserts were the best). Would definately recommend!

😠 Muy mal servicio, encontre un insecto en mi comida y la camarera cuando se lo dige cogio un cuchillo y arrasto el insecto por todo el plato sin pedir disculpas ni traer un plato nuevo y limpio. Esperando que lo comiera. Scandalous how I ordered a pancake and I got it with a bug in the fruits, when...
