Part of original Celtic hilltop settlement that has been partially restored. They have also replicated in 3 buildings what the original stone huts would have looked like thanks to the expert advice. Museum is worth visiting despite its isolated location compared with top of hill.

On the slope of the hill is the restored remnants of an early settlement. Only low walls and some foundations are visible. The information and picture boards are most helpful. While historically valuable, there is not a lot to see and an anticlimax after the stunning views from the hilltop

Tremendous multi level views of Vigo the city and the harbour port. Be prepared for a long and tough climb to top. Worth the visit and the exercise!

This is a place "must visit" when in Vigo. Spectacular 360° view on the Vigo city and Ría de Vigo. Small, but nice park inside with a fountain.

Fantastic place to walk around for hours and take in the view of Vigo from above. You can spend so much time here as it is very peaceful and relaxing. There was a cafe nearby for a pit stop too. I walked all the way up but you can drive up halfway then walk around. Highly recommend to stroll around this place!!

The castros were beautiful. The guide on the premises was very helpful and knowledgeable about the history of the excavation site.

😐 The Bay of Vigo was mentioned in the book “20 000 Leagues Under the Sea” written by Jules Verne. After publishing his book, he visited the city of Vigo aboard his yacht Saint Michel III. The bronze sculpture, made in 2005, was to commemorate to centenary of the death of the writer.
