Disappointed in this hotel-Firstly we were ignored at reception for at least 15 mins, then we had paid for standard room with terrace, and requested sea view which was confirmed on chat,we didn't get that either. We then asked for an iron ,this service was unavailable. No 0ne but maid service can deliver or hand over an iron, and that's only in the morning.reception member dealing with this issue was great, listened and agreed,as a 4 star hotel ,not good enough. We had better 2 star apartments with better service than this hotel .

Good hotel, nice friendly staff, clean rooms, although the rooms are a bit outdated they are still in fair condition. Also the rooftop area is the best, sit and have a cocktail and watch the sunset.

We stayed in room 201, if the rest of the hotel is like this room please stay away, I've been in better camping sites than this hotel. There was used soap in the shower and dirty towels, very covid friendly start. The room had almost no lighting, the reading lights were broken, there were no ceiling lights apart from the ones in the entry and the window gave to an inner shaft of sorts so you had to choose between charging your mobile or seeing properly because you could only rely on your nightstand lights. The bed was uncomfortable and made noises everytime we moved... The shower didn't work properly either. To add insult to injury we were told we had to be at breakfast around the chosen hour more of less, chilled atitude... Obviously when we arrived we were told off for being 15 min late like we were kids... This to eat a poor very low quality breakfast. It was a truly miserable experience. Saving grace? The location was very good and some of the staff was nice... Stay away from this hotel and if you can't DO NOT stay in room 201... Or be sure to test everything you need before settling in.

This gets 4 stars purely because of Marina on reception. She was very helpful and always had a smile. The rooms are a bit dated and poorly lit. My room didn't have those things you would expect: kettle, tea, coffee etc. There was a minibar, but not very cold, although fairly priced. The rooms varied in what they offered. Mine had a shower head over the bath, whilst my mate had a rainfall shower and steam room. Reception did do their best to accommodate us and make our stay comfortable. Probably a 3* hotel but as I said before, it was made more bearable by the excellent staff.

Business class hotel. Could use a little touching up in the room and hall. Air conditioning does not appear to be on in cooler weather and my room was still too warm. Too warm to sleep well, too noisy outside to open the window. Lighting in the room is very harsh. Very good gym next door

This whole place is so different, and its location is ideal. The friendliness and welcome we received here was second to none. Staff were very pleasant and helpful no matter the time or the request. We had a nice room with a view. It was well maintained and had all the modern conveniences you’d expect. Definitely coming back here soon.

If you like this review give it a 👍 Hotel: We were received by a very friendly receptionist with a lovely smile. We felt right at home. And each time we came back to the hotel or out of the elevator there was eye contact and a smile, thats something that couldn't be said of her colleagues. I would hire her anytime! The hotel is easily accessible, has parking facilities and is a 10-minute walk from the center. Room: fairly spacious, modern, comfortable, in good condition and clean. Bathroom ditto. Safe (17inc laptop size) is available and free to use. Wifi (free) present. All the room doors close with a very loud bang. We woke up in the morning to all the doors closing with a very loud bang. Something really needs to be done about that. Breakfast: Decent but way overpriced. €13.50 for the quality and choice of products is too much. Advice is to have breakfast outside, much cheaper, better coffee and more fun. The breakfast area is uninviting and very noisy. Roof terrace; small pool and sitting area not too big. Too small if you really want to swim, but to recover from the heat and have a drink, sufficient. A friendly and hardworking service is provided. Overall: Good location, modern and clean, rates are acceptable and breakfast not the best and way too expensive...but the banging of the doors.....

Location is excellent and service is good. They loose points in the details like the lack of ambience in the terrace at night. The pool is not as nice as advertised and WIFi is Terrible!!!

Could hear everything on our floor through the walls, room smelled stale, bed was uncomfortable, used lotion/bath gel in the shower, lighting was awful, mini bar not cold, no bedside plug locations, and the wifi was abysmal.

I have a mixed opinion about my stay. So I will go with rating by parts to be fair. Starting with the location is in the heart of Vigo and all the restaurants and bars are 5-10 mins by walk. (5/5) The staff is friendly and tries to help you as much as they can. (5/5) The room that I stayed in it is a sea view but as you can see it is not the best one. It was organised and had a good smell but I could see some dust in it. The wifi was so slow so I had to use my 5g internet to cover that. The pillows and the bed are not comfortable. I had trouble to sleep because of the pillow. (2/5) The breakfast was not good and I would prefer if there was spanish stuff instead of French pastries (2.5/5) Its quite during the day and night but I heard from some people that the streets can be noisy during the weekend (3/5) For the price is okay I guess since the prices are the same in the area. Overall I can give 3/5

The room was fine, however.. Miguel, the receptionist was very rude. Breakfast was not included in a 108€ stay. I went to confront them about this and Miguel had no patience and even told me as a guest that i dont have an education. I find this very offensive and rude. I asked to talk to a manager, he stated there is no manager and proceded to cut me off talking. After my girlfirend went to check us out, i was of course very irritated, Miguel decided to state again how i do not have an education. This is not a way to treat guests and i will not be staying here again.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel was very clean and fit for purpose. Our rooms were a nice size and had good amenities. The breakfast was inexpensive €10 pp. all of the staff weee friendly and very helpful, dealt with our requests. Especially the lady in the food area and the bar man :)). The hotel is located in a very good location right in the city. Close walk to port and other malls and cafe’s. Only negative I have is that there was no hair dryer iron in the rooms. Would be nice to have the bar on the roof open it was late April weather was decent enough. We would stay again. Thank you to all the staff at Axis Vigo. Brilliant value for money
