The
hotel
is
lovely,
very
friendly
reception
staff
and
well
equipped
room.
We
stayed
in
a
superior
sea
view
room
which
I
would
highly
recommend
as
the
balcony
was
enormous
(30sqm),
with
sun
loungers
and
dining
table
and
chairs,
it
made
a
great
space
to
relax
and
look
at
the
amazing
views.
We
had
a
spa
circuit
which
was
disappointing
-
the
jacuzzi
water
was
cold
so
very
unpleasant,
equally
the
water
circuit
was
not
very
warm
-
maybe
some
people
enjoy
this
but
I
did
not
and
spent
most
of
the
hour
in
the
sauna.
The
other
aspect
we
found
disagreeable
was
that
in
order
to
access
the
spa
you
have
to
walk
across
the
front
of
the
hotel,
this
felt
quite
uncomfortable,
strolling
in
a
dressing
gown
through
a
coach
load
of
tourists
being
offloaded...
Then
for
the
restaurant...one
of
the
most
confusing
meals
of
my
life.
We
had
the
"menu
degustación".
The
food
was
actually
very
good
but
the
restaurant
itself
has
a
very
strange
vibe.
The
decor
is
very
confused,
there
was
house
music
playing
(better
suited
to
a
beach
bar
in
Ibiza
than
a
five
star
hotel)
and
the
lighting
would
not
have
been
out
of
place
in
a
Macdonalds!
The
waiters
were
nice
enough
but
would
give
a
very
simple
explanation
of
what
each
dish
was
and
at
least
twice
during
the
meal
started
clearing
the
plates
when
we
hadn't
yet
finished.
Neither
were
capable
of
giving
wine
recommendations,
and
whilst
I
know
they
weren't
sommeliers,
I
would
expect
a
five
star
hotel
to
have
staff
who
can
discuss
the
wine
on
offer
and
propose
what
would
make
a
good
paring
-
a
good
example
of
this
was
when
we
asked
if
they
could
recommend
a
wine
to
accompany
the
desert,
they
suggested
water.
It
feels
like
the
hotel
is
missing
an
opportunity
with
the
restaurant,
with
some
small
changes
it
could
become
a
destination
restaurant,
the
food
is
truly
good
and
worth
it
but
the
service
and
the
environment
let
it
down.
