This is a eerie place with a lot of history attached. Recommend a visit to the place with a knowledgeable guide. Alternately, you can visit the place by first studying the history behind this cenotaph.

Different sort of ceilings, the Adil Shahi Engineering used for water lifting system is just out of this world! Slowly the place is turning into a bad shape. Citizens of Bijapur should actually visit more often so that it gets the same attention given for the other beautiful monuments in Bijapur.

Historical monument in shambles. In dire need of attention and maintenance. Has been neglected for quite long. Not sure how long it will stand if not taken care of.

Its nice piece of history still standing... Except installing heavy iron gates here and there to restrict movement, nothing else is maintained here like no garden, no strenghtening of this structure,etc,etc... This is quiet and isolated place and is good place if you want a timeout from the cities chaos... but sadly no garden here... 😔
