While me and my family were initially skeptical to spend a holiday in the small town of Vijayawada, it turned out to be one of the best city getaways. Also did not know that Vijayawada had so much to offer historically and mythological too. Trust the hotel needs to have the posters across the walks and corridors. Our early check in was honored and the Gateway suite brought smiles to the entire family. My son was always kept happy getting his favourite strawberry milkshake at breakfast and in the room at times. We got complimentary local snacks and delicacies in the room on all days. The Andhra meal that we had on the 3 lunches we had was just awesome. The quality, taste and quantity was 4 stars.

We visited their restaurant for buffet. The spread was decent but can be better. Staff were polite. Recommended.

Though the hotel is located in strategic location, access to the restaurant was not an easy task. w.r.t. the food served at buffet lunch, the less asked is better. The spread was not much. Furthermore, it was not an easy task to separate non-veg items from veg items. There could be a better way to separate them. At the time of payment, my card was swiped for rs 2600/-, for a bill of rs.2594/-. I don't know what was the problem in swiping the exact amount, as no money was to be returned physically.

Rooms are good. Service is good. But do not expect much. It is more like nice hotel to stay. Nothing to do at hotel. Except swimming pool which was good. Food taste was good but it was not hot. Staff is friendly.

Amazing experience. Front desk staff is very patient and always helpful. Rooms are decent and service is good. Hotel has dine-in room and restaurant facility. Even the chef and restaurant folks are super cool and even came in between and asking if everything is good and need anything else. We have opted for buffet breakfast and it was superb and we didn't tried rameshwaram idly and chef walk in and suggested us to try Rameshwaram idly and bought it and it's very soft and really nice.. Overall hotel, food , stay, pool everything is amazing.

I must say. Had an amazing stay. The people are so warm and patient. Staff is very attentive. And they made everything possible to make our 2 day stay pleasant. Food is just great here!

The hotel is really nice, property is very good and present in good location with everything nearby for shopping etc... breakfast is so nice ... Live counter girl is very friendly where she referred new dishes to make a try with good food knowledge where I tried some items as suggested and they are really awesome in taste and pretty impressed ... must try rameshwaram idly... everything was good... just there is no coordination between service staff they always skips when we order something and they only have 2 people for service ... Other than that everything looks perfect...👍🏻

Went to restaurant with family, ambience is just normal. Fish items taste is not upto the mark. Non veg varieties limited. Veg and traditional food is good. Suggest to provide healthy food options for diabetes too.

Don't be misled. I am sure this joint has nothing to do with the Taj group - looking at mediocre furnishings or the rooms either. ex. Shocking: Jammed washroom doors forcing midnight change of room, is only a tip of the Iceberg, or non availability of king size beds, measly buffets... But, people are cool & helpful or even charming.

I was there with my Family, it was nice experience. Very cooperative staff. Very good service. Really pleasant stay. We strongly recommend.

Very hospitable staff. About 40min from the airport. Rooms are good no closed cloth closets. Had a layover in Vijayawada, good for overnight stay. Food was beyond excellent.

Great place to have meetings and conferences. First time visited this place for a conference. The conference hall was good and have enough resources for a great conference. Top of the hotel at 7th floor swimming pool is available and various other facilities are also available. The food was also good but little bit disappointed for the taste.

Name now changed to vivanta. Great to stay and buffets are great here with a lot of varieties. So I recommend booking 2 complimentary meals. The in dining menu on the other hand has almost basic food items. I think they keep menu limited to encourage and try their buffets. I surely liked how it offers good discounts.

Great place to stay for business or leasure purpose , TAJ hotels always provides the required amenities for their customers every time with perfection. But , some part of the hotel seems to be under construction 🏗️.

I had been to Vivanta with my family for my kid's birthday and had a nice meal. First of all... Food is kids friendly and healthy, Thanks to the Chef and Vivanta team. French fries are awesome. Kids enjoyed the dinner. Special Thanks to Veerakumar Manda and Sanjib for the hospitality and surprise cake cutting for my kid. We enjoyed it along with my family. Terrace is scenematic. We enjoyed altogether. Happy to see healthy food hotels in vijayawada.

Its a good hotel as per Location but trust me you will doubt if it's a part of Taj group. Menu is a disaster but service will compensate for that. No place to chill except rooftop pool. Good bar but they don't even know how to make whiskey sour. Location is amazing that's why 4 stars

Favorite place of stay in vijayawada. Check in is a breeze. Well located property with valet parking. the rooms are well appointed and room service is good. breakfast spread is really nice. jogging track on the roof is awesome!

Recently went for Product (osram) Retailers meet.all was good. But the food they served is third class. Not expected from from the house of Taj.

Terrible experience with VIVANTA, AC was not at all working after complaining also no proper action taken. Washroom door not working, water leakage issue. Not at all happy with the facilities and services offered.

This property is situated in the middle of the city and most busiest market in Vijayawada, near Benz circle. This is an old one in comparison to Novotel and Hyatt, but have maintained the quality of service which Taj offers. The room was big with ample space to move around and feel comfortable. It had all the basic amenities like iron & table, safe, kettle, etc. The couch in the room was very comfortable and so was working on the table. The breakfast buffet served in the all day dining restaurant Mynt had a large spread to choose from. The Ramassery idli stood out and is a must have, among other things one likes. I ordered for cold coffee after enjoying the buffet and it was made to perfection. A special call out to Front office manager Mr. Pritam Mondal, who offered to even allocate the room for some time, if I wanted to freshen up before the evening flight. Overall, a very nice experience and highly recommended. Happy staying!!!!

Amazing experience with the staff specially by the on-duty manager. We even got pleasant surprises. Value for money and we got what is expected out of an IHCL hotel. Good location, property was not so great from ouside but was decent from inside. Room and service was outstanding.

Excellent service and staff. The food was excellent and the staff at Restaurant were so nice. We had Buffet breakfast and dinner both were very good. It's worth mentioning that we really enjoyed fried rice and Chicken with Kungpao gravy.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the city. Coming from the US and this place was perfect for the family. Great views from the upper windows, breakfast is yummy, service is fantastic and the driver, Sunil, was a delight- he worked with us for 2 days. Everyone was super nice to my kids. And the reservation staff even helped us book trains from their office. Oh and the rooms and bathrooms were super clean and spotless.

Room is good but restaurant staff need to look at the service. During Buffet Dinner if the restaurant gets full then there is no proper service by the team. They need more skills or I should say more staff to manage the restaurant. Unhappy if I compare to other similar properties. Sharing my experience by sitting in the restaurant and waiting for the food to come which is missing in the spread

It was a great experience staying at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and took good care. When we said we are traveling with a baby of 9 months. They made food for her to feed while traveling too. I felt really happy with their kind gesture. All thanks to restaurant staff and manager.

Nice Hotel, Nice food. Executive rooms are pretty good , clean and sanitization done as well while entering. Nearby many shops are there so youbcan go for shopinng anytime. Nice simming pool view on roof top, was trvelled on rainy season and missed enjoying the swimming pool.

The banquet hall was nice and tidy. Air conditioning was very much on point. Nice carpet down and they were cleaning it time to time.

Went to the buffet dinner at this restaurant. The standard of food was below par. Complete waste of money. No great variety either in starters or desserts. Food was 🔥 very spicy too. But staff are hospitable

Tried unlimited buffet and it's around 2400 per couple. But feel like meals not much worth. Taste is also not that much . It's average only. I like the green colour soup and staff also less members poor response.

Par amazing experience. From check in till check out, the experience was amazing. Even the staff was very friendly and helpful. And Mr. Pritam was really an excellent person. Did help us in every aspect. Never ever do we feel any sort of discomfort. For sure gonna visit soon..

The gym has a steam chamber despite informing in advance it was not ready. Nobody in health club. Call the duty manager no response. Later came to know duty manager comes at 9 am. But I thought a hotel of this stature should have one round the clock🤔

Didn't get a 5 star feel to be honest. Amenities are available... Food was also good. It was value for money. Service and behaviour of the staff is absolutely fantastic. That definitely lived upto Taj's reputation. Parking is available. Valet as well.
