Wow….. SSS idly’s are out of the world. A small idly shop located at central Vijayawada, they serve only idly’s here no other food items in their menu. Hot and steaming idlys are served with 3 types of chutneys , chutney powder and lots of ghee. Very soft n tasty idly’s which you don’t find anywhere else apart from SSS idly hotel. Must try when you are in Vijayawada.

Best Idly in Vijayawada. A Bit costly but worth the taste. Huge crowd waiting outside for dine in. It took me 30min to receive my order. Idly melts in our mouth. Must visit place to eat Idly

SSS Idly is a perfect idly which gets melted into your palate with a slight touch of ghee and podi. Try to have a Mylapur Coffe, best in taste to complete the whole breakfast.

For a place that only serves idly, one still needs to have an experience of this place.. the idly is incredible and are served with chutney ghee and podi.. the place is well maintained and give a great vibe like it’s got a story to tell..the rush outside made sense once we tasted the food.. u need to wait a little bit to get in but that’s because they don’t want it crowded inside since the place only has limited seating.. don’t hesitate! Just try the food inside and u can have some hot tea/coffee outside!

Really wanted to see what's the fuss about this place that everyone keeps talking about while discussing the food scene in Vijayawada. Couldn't really figure out why were the prices a bit high for these simple idlis but it tasted good though, especially with the ghee and podi. The ambience was very traditional and the coffee outside was super.

It was the best Idly i ever had. Seeing the popularity, prices are very reasonable. Service is fast so waiting was not there at the time I visited. If you are traveling from outside visit once here. Basic and simple set-up but Idly is superb and you'll remember lifetime that you had one.

Totally worth the hype, take one ghee packet per idly & enjoy. Cashier or owner can improve his attitude towards customers

But the taste made up for lack of ambience. Wanna experience an old timers favourite place to have a soft fluffy idly then this is the place for you! You get to experience a feel of old timers Indian breakfast center! Every bite was so memorable! Decently priced not too expensive. Mesmerizing flavors of chutney and the chilly powder. Over all enjoyed the whole experience! The only downside is waiting time. we had to wait for a bit to get a place and have our food

This hotel was actually referred by friend when I came to Vijaywada on a visit that it’s a must try. Seeing the reviews also I was excited to taste it and believe me it’s just awesome the idly with the ghee and podi and chutney just melts in the mouth. Definitely recommend to visit and have this idly. They just serve idly and to say they are the best at it.

Good taste & ambiance. Don’t think it’s worth the price for regular customers. You may taste the idly once to see the hype and judge for yourself ! They claim it’s very old, but the servers there seems to be working there on their first day. They are running around with no clue how to provide just ONE item on the menu, Idly.

Good place to have traditional Andhra Idly (without Sambar). Don't expect varieties of Chutneys here. Soft Idly is served with coconut chutney, Toor Dal Spice Powder (Kandi Podi) and Ginger Chutney. Ghee is to be bought separately (Rs. 5/- per packet) Good ambience with a traditional setting. Cost is reasonable (Rs. 32/- for a plate of 2 idly) Will have idly here again 😊

Idly was super delicious. Idly are very soft and served hot. Chutney is also good and not spicy. Ghee cost is extra but I will insist to add ghee because it enhances the taste of idly to another level. A must place to have Idly in Vijayawada.

Idly is normal, charged 48rs per 3idly. Only idly is served here. Dal powder, garlic chutney and regular chutney is served. Ghee packet is charged 5rs extra. It's all the fame that they have gained otherwise idly won't cost that much. Worth visiting once if you want to experience the ambience of tree leaves hut, water stored in big black pots, and the black marble tables and seats contrusted with bricks and cement. Served by active servers.

The idly is very good here. I went here 3 tl 4 times and I enjoy the food everytime. The idly is very soft and no need to chew with the teeth, you can easily eat it. The ghee is very tasty and more specially the podi is very good. We also have bought podi there which costs 40rs.

I did not check reviews before going to this place. But definitely it's over hyped. Idli in hyd is cheaper and tastier than this place. Also So many ghee packets they are generating too much plastic waste. Who comes early are served late. No system is followed. Chutney is okay but the ginger chutney is not at all great. I would definitely not recommend this place to my family and friends.

Beware!!! Is a Cash!! Only establishment. And the bill does not tell you how much tax you are paying. The Food is good and hot.However, the management is cold and agnostic about customer convenience. The irony is that the coffee store in the same premises accepts digital payments made me wonder about the management policies. Hey! This another famous eatery which doesn’t offer you a tissue paper and charges extra for the ghee.! If you wish to start your day with such energy around.! You should definitely visit this place.! Enjoy eating!!!

It's having different ambience for sure, but only idly is available just as hotel name. All has to experience this place for sure you won't regret it. Taste is nice ,very clean and hygienic. All serves as hot only. No stale food. We has buy ghee , different types of chutney's available like coconut chutney, ginger chutney and some dal powder. Whole package is flavour ful and delicious

It's located near a polytechnic main road near lalith jwewellers. I went all the way from kanakadurga temple to this hotel. Idlies were very soft. I took 3 idlies and 2 shashes of ghee. They gave peanut chutney and red (allam) chutney. Both were not good. Service good ambience is also good. This place open from 6AM TO 11 AM only. I liked softness of ildy. Only cash payment is allowed no online mode is allowed.

Justifies the name,i.e Idly hotel. You won't get any other dish here except the Idly,which is their speciality.Coming to the taste,they are soft and delicious but not like out of the world in any manner. Had better idlys at Bangalore at places like Rameswaram café, Bramhins tatte idly and other good Udupi hotels. But if you don't compare with them,these are as good as they can get, especially without sambar. Ghee packet needs to be purchased separately for 5 rs. Prices of idlys are affordable too. Ambience is maintained like old paaka style eateries we used to see around in villages in childhood days.Overall a satisfactory experience from my side.

Recently visited this place after hearing much about it. They sell only idly. Taste wise it is okay, quality is good. But 16 rupees per idly is too much. There nothing special in it to charge that much of an amount. Taste is just like any other idly we eat. Eating once is okay for that hype.

It's been a good experience while having ghee idly here. They got some special taste for it 😋 you've to experience for sure. They just got idly nothing else in the menu when I went there. The ambience will totally remind you of your village or make you feel that you're eating in a village hut. 😉 and the prices are moderate.

Softest idly i ever had. Yummy taste, economy price and quick service.

I used to eat here regularly during my college days in Bhaskar bhavan chaitanya beside pinnamaneni poly clinic. After a long break of a decade I visited again and the taste has completely changed. Back in the day maybe SSS was the only one of its kind place but it no longer has an USP apart from its iconic hut 🛖. Cons: 1. Long wait times just because it is too hyped up and there is very little seating 2. Coconut chutney not at all good 3. Average idly just a little softer than regular ones 4. Ghee served in plastic sachets 5. CORRUPTED RESTAURANT WHICH DOESN'T ACCEPT UPI TO EVADE TAXES Pros: 1. Additional options such as tomato chutney and podi which haven't changed much in taste as well Also if you don't like ghee smell it's better to skip this place as many ppl eat idly with ghee and the place smells of ghee.

SSS IDLY HOTEL is famous for its own kind of idly which is really soft and comes in a square shape and i didnt find this softness in any other hotel in my experience. Idly costs 16 rupees per piece and ghee packet costs 5/- which is packaged one and they serve peanut chutney along with Idly podi and ginger chutney. Idly lovers should definitely try this as they serve only Idly here

For a breakfast, this place is much recommended. Especially the taste of chutney and the smoothness of idly is speechless. You should be a fan of it for sure, one thing is the cost. I feel it is overrated just because of the hype given to it.

This place only serves idly because they know they are good at it. The idlies are smooth and the chutney here is also good. They provide podi with allam chutney. The ghee packets are of extra cost. We are from north india . We are exploring Vijayawada . We came across this know famous SSS idly hotel . We found mosquitoes in 3 idlis . Unexpected . The taste in the stalls of Vijayawada is better than this hotel . Not worth the price .
