Very Divine and ancient temple!! It opens at 7 am and closes by 3.30PM . Panakala Narasimha swamy temple is on the hill top and Laxmi Narasimha swamy temple is in the town. Temple Gopuram is very tall and huge. We will be served with panakam on the hill top temple, we can offer Panakam to the Divine Lord at a cost of 55/- . It is said that no one knows how and where will panakam flow outside from the Diety.

Sri Panakaala Narsimha Swami temple is located in Mangalagiri on a hill. This is a very ancient and a very powerful temple. If you have any wish come here and make a wish,if your wish comes true you can come here again and pour panakam on Swami. There's ample parking, there's a free line and a Rs.100 line. The temple is packed during the weekends and festive days. Do visit this temple so that you can get your dreams and wishes come true. Om Namo Narsimhaya Namaha 🙏😇

An ancient and powerful temple that one should definitely visit. It is just sad to see how they have commercialised this beautiful temple. They loot money from you at every point. 1. Rs.10/- for a two wheeler entry 2. Rs.90/- for Panakam ticket (Even though it was mentioned as Rs.60 in the ticket, they demand you pay Rs.90/- and they give you some extra Tulsi stating that it is Rs.30/-) 3. Rs.10/- for Neivedhyam (Even though you have paid Rs.90/- for Panakam, it will be offered to God only if you take this Rs.10/- ticket) 4. Rs.20/- for a substandard plastic bottle in which you can carry the left over Panakam after offering to the God). If you don't want to pay this extra 20, you have to drink all the extra Panakam there or leave it there.

Nice temple, we went on Sunday, There was queue it took 45 minutes for darshan. We went at morning 7 O'clock, so there was not much queue, it went after 10 am on weekends, there will be so much rush. Temple was nice and it was very old temple. We can take Rs. 60 ticket to offer panakam for god. Poojari only offer panankam to god and will say sankalpam on our name. We cant offer panakam to god with our hands. After sankalpam, poojari will give panakam to us to take home. You can also take 100 rupee ticket for sheegra darshan. It is yeguva narishmha temple and it is located okn hill top and there was also diguva narasimha temple, which is located below the hill. We have to take darshan of yeguva narasimha first and then diguva narasimha. It is located 12 km away from Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple.

Panakalaswamy temple, located in Mangalgiri, is a divine place for Hindus. It is said that here, God is self-existent. There will be no statue of god in the temple but there is only mouth widely opened to 15 cms. The mouth os covered by metal face of the god. The God takes jaggery water as offering by a conch. As the offering of the Panakam to the Lord is peculiar, the Lord is here is called Panakala Narasimhaswamy. It is said that the hill was once a volcano. Behind the temple there is the temple of Sri Lakshmi, to the west of which there is a natural cave.

The temple holds a rich history, with its age dating back many centuries. It is intriguingly situated on an ancient volcanic mountain, adding to its mystique. One fascinating aspect is the divine aura surrounding the main temple. "Despite daily offerings of hundreds of liters of panakam to the 'Moola Virat', there is an unusual absence of flies around the sacred site, leaving us in wonder and amazement".

Really a good place to visit. Temple is very beautiful and very peace ful Really a worth seeing place in a life time We have 2 ways to reach this temple from Mangalagiri APSRTC Bus stand we can get share autos to reach thus hill station by road. And we can reach this Hill main temple of Sri Panakala Laxminarasimha swamy temple by climbing steps too... We also can reach by our own vehicles like 2 & 4 wheelers Here the swamy is most powerful GOD. Importance and famous about this Temple is , here the GOD is drinking the GUD water, We call it as PAANAKAMU If you pour 1 liter of PAANAKAMU in to his mouth he can drink half liter of water and give us back of another half liter of PAANAKAMAU..., That is the only main Prasadam we can get here in this Temple Like Laddu in Tirumala Balaji Temple There are many things to exoalin, instead of explaining and knowing here, better.to visit this Temple is really Good Informative....

Temple location :- MANGALAGIRI town, Guntur district, ANDHRA PRADESH HOW TO REACH :- Direct buses to mangalagiri bus stand and auto services to this town from GUNTUR CITY AND VIJAYAWADA CITY & TENALI town. because this town situated beside NATIONAL HIGH WAY NUMBER:-5 , between Guntur and vijayawada cities. How to go to temple :- two ways to reach temple on hill one steps way and another ghat road on hill. Local service autos available to top of the hill. Place one must visit once in life About temple history :- GOD SRI LAKSHMI NARASIMHA SWAMI worshiped as "SRI PANAKALA LAKSHMI NARSIMA SWAMI " ( panakam means water which mixed with jangari and black pepper) In this temple the devine God lakshmi narsimha swami face emboded on Rocky Hill in side the temple by opening the mouth of God. Devotees offering the God pankam by poring to the mouth of God with shanku by priests. Historical and most populour reason for this panakam is the hill "mangala" Is a active volcano, so God lakshmi narasima is situated on this temple by drinking that pankam by devotees he control volcano 🌋 power by making it cool 😎. Major places on hill to visit :- on hill major holly shrine is panakala lakshmi narasima swami, little above to this temple "sri lakshmi ammavari temple ", on way to lakshmi ammavari temple, SRI hanuman God statue on Rocky Hill . Beside lakshmi devi temple there is big cave ( guha) {{{ as per historic myth devotees trust it the way of this cave leads to path 👣 to varanasi in utter pradesh)}}} Beside this cave another, small temple is "SRI ANANTHA PADMANABHA SWAMI" temple Another view is down town view of mangalagiri is simple super by looking so many other temples and nature hill coolnes during early hours simple superb

Rare places of Narasimha swamy where he got swayambhu and is present from ages like kruthayugam,Trethyugam, Dwaparayugam , kaliyugam.. very prominent and great disciples have visited this place .. even Pandavas before starting of agnathavasa had done pooja and abhisekham to swamy as lingam.. Adi Shankaracharya had visited this place … prabhupada also visited .. all of these had visited in year 1512 .. Devathas used to give Amrutam to swamy , later it came down to panakam offering to swamy.. where how much ever quantity you offer swamy will take only half of that and the rest will be returned back to us as Prasadam.. with all these in place you won’t be able to see an ant in that place even with all the jaggery , sweetened water offered dews out and get drenched all over .. a must visit temple .. you can go in car or you can climb steps around 300 to reach swamy .. again you need to climb some more steps to see rajyalakshmi ammavaru.. and a beautiful view from the hill top … near to Vijayawada with all connectivity even from Guntur ..

Temple in Mangalagiri town and also on hill. Availability of auto to reach temple on hill. It seems limited space for car parking. Visiting before 9 pm darshan can be changed completed faster. Water mixed jaggery offered to lord, part of mix received back, given as prasadam to devotees. Devotees also visit laksmi devi temple on hill.

Temple was very pleasant and peaceful. For us it took more than 1 hour for Darshan. Must visit places near Vijayawada. Temple management is very bad. They completely money minded, not working to do seva to God.

In Mangalarigi famous temple. Sri Lakshmi narasimha swamy is famous for panakam. Where he ingests whatever the quantity of panakam you offer. This temple is located on the hill top. However there is a another temple in the town with big gali gopuram. Here the murthy is decorated with exclusive gold ornaments. Nice place to visit. You will feel blessed.

The temple of Sri Panakala Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy is situated on the hill. The stone steps to the temple were built by Sri Channapragada Balaramadasu in 1890. The tunnel is closed and blocked and is not seen nowadays. The flagstaff or dhwajasthambham was erected in front of the temple in 1955. The temple's tall eleven story gali gopuram was built by Vasireddy Venkatadri Nayudu, a zamindari patron and devotee of Narasimha. Lord Narasimha Favourite Panakam ❤️

It's beautiful place and located on top of mountain. Very powerful and famous temple. You must visit when you are near to this place. Darsan will take hardly 15 to 20 mins of time. But surely you will have better feeling during relaxation. Lord Narasimha Swamy is Swayambhu here and from this hill you can see beautiful view of Mangalagiri.

As far as I know, There are two temples located here. One of them is Panakala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple located on the top of the hill and the other one is Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple located at the foot of the hill. Panakala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple: There's a regular practice of offering jaggery water as naivedyam here. A bowl of jaggery water is given to the devotees who pay for panaka puja. Some of this water is poured in Swamy's mouth and the remaining is given back to devotees as theertham. The surprising factor here is no one knows where all this naivedyam poured in Swamy's mouth goes. Some theories say that the hill is once a volcano and this naivedyam poured into Swamy's mouth is used to avoid Volcanic eruption. Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple: This temple has one of the highest gopurams in South India which was constructed 200 years ago by Raja Vasireddy Venkatadri Naidu.

Temple is awesome and the view from the hill top was breathtaking. A must see in vijayawada and its 30 minutes away from main bus stand. 2 temples are there one is down the hill and the other one is up above the hill. Dont forget to visit both the temples.

Sree Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy mandir located at start of the hill, usually devotees visit Panakala Swamy on top of the hill, then will visit Swamy here. Very elegantly maintained, buy tickets for antaralaya darshan to see Lakshmi sameta Swamy close by. Ample parking for cars & two wheelers Stay blessed!

Known as one of the powerful temples of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, we see that maintenance from temple trust/govt/pandits has gone very low. No proper maintenance at temple, felt very disappointed. I hope someone from Devadayashaka to look into such historical place for better maintenance
