Though small in size but still a good park to spend time and enjoy. A combination of natural and artificial environment. Toilets are there but not in good condition.

Raghavaiah park is very gorgious for time spend with kids. So kindly come and joy. A park is an open place in a city or town for nature. There are often trees, benches, statues, and ponds in a park. Some parks built in big cities are very large. These can have fountains or picnic areas.

Its a small park for short visit and spend time with your Family or Friends. Entry charge for the Adults is Rs. 20 and Rs.10 for kids. Maintained well and its clean. Hanging bridge is the major attraction over here. Kids will love it.

It is one the public parks in Vijayawada organised by Municipality of Vijayawada.. The environment is so pleasant and clean. Entry Fee also reasonable and easily paid by anyone.

Maintainence is good but need to improve.. Staff are polite. It's a small park. It will be great if they extend the park which is both sides of the canal. Hanging bridge on the canal gives you thrilling experience when you walk on it. Greenery gives you a pleasant atmosphere. It has so many good views. Parking facility available but very less space.

Raghavaiah Park: located in Bandar road, Vijayawada. It has entry fee of 10/- each. It is at starting point of Besant road. It is having many historical events as political also. It is having one rope bridge but it closed now because it's not safe to use. It has one Krishna canal adjacent to this park(Bandar canal). It's one of the end has mother Theresa old-age home. It has some children activities inside the park. Some greenary inside to relax some time. Water fountain inside is an attraction. It's adjacent there is a bus stop also. Finally we can have a visit with children.

Raghavaiah Park is nice for roaming during weekends with family members. A nice playing zone for kids, and can be used for jogging during evening session. The entry ticket for adult is 20 rupees and for child above 3 years is 10 rupees. Cable bridge is available to cross the canal. Only 10 members are allowed to cross the cable bridge which is not feasible during weekdays. To maintain 10 people security guard's are available but as people rush to the park it can't be managed. As people also can be confused , as the way is to and fro. Opening timings are from 9:00 AM to 21:00 hrs. Trees are decorated with color full lights.

After a long time reconstruction of park parents are coming with children and they are enjoying & playing. Good. But needs to improve and facilitate more for children in the park.

Every 90's kid has a nostalgic feeling attached to this park because it used to be one of the best parks in the city. Anyhow, i don't remember going to this park after 2004 or so due to bad maintenance and a toxic environment. I don't think it is any better now. It has improved a bit in the very recent times. I still don't know whether you can visit this park with kida.

This park was not that big but filled with greenary and this park with night lights was amazing entrance ticket was 10/-. If we need some peace just to sit with friends or family this is the place and it is also having kids playzone.

Not much fun to enjoy. , swing bridge was closed which was a key attraction to the whole park.Just 2 slides, swings and a seesaw was only available which are well placed on soft Matt floor above a wooden flooring. Which makes it safe for lil kids.

Raghavaiah Park is a beautiful and peaceful place to relax. I enjoyed sitting by the canal and watching the ducks. There are also a few food stalls in the park, so you can grab a bite to eat.

  • 5/5 Harsha L. 7 months ago on Google
This used to be the greenest corner of Vijayawada back in days until current government destroyed the architecture adjacent to this park. Now it's just another park with probably high pollution level because the road in front gets all Vijayawada traffic and mostly remained jammed due to poor road design of MG road. I miss those days when we used to go especially every morning for that refreshing air in the city park. Not anymore! :(

Children rides are not good , particularly chairs rotating ride is very in bad condition. Toilets fittings are not up to the mark. The concerned area MLA inaugurated the park without verification.

A small park etched between the Bandar Canal and MG Road. It has a small play area - working see-saw, 2 slides and a not so functional swing. A small walk-way for walkers is present. A large fountain is also there, however it was not working. Couples get some privacy here. The entry ticket is charged ₹10/- for adults and ₹5/- for kids.
