Pretty good hotel. Great rooms. The inside of the hotel feels very open, which could be something you prefer or not. You do feel less "private" with all the openness though. Like, you'd be cautious before attending the door in your night gown or something. Pretty big convention hall. Can easily seat 300-400 people. P.S. The rooms had pretty interesting flat but 3D looking lamps. Pretty cool.

Hello all this is Rama Krishna and welcome to my reviews. Coming to this place, normal people can't afford this place to stay but you can enjoy the 5star level multicusine food unlimited. It costs you around like 1500rs per head. Coming to the facilities, go to the top and you can see beautiful views of the city. If you feel tired there is a spa service 😉. Don't expect more 😜

Staff was excellent, they kept the place running perfectly. The food and food staff were excellent Had entertainment by Katherine some nights either in the bar off the lobby or up in the Sky Deck. Very good singer and allowed me to sing some songs like karaoke I stayed for two weeks, every day I came in to a clean, made bed, clean towels and room and plenty of water If I come back I will definitely stay again

The facility is pretty good but the front desk staff are a bit junior and don’t really understand the customer, they are focused just on completing the transaction. Much to our surprise, we saw a live roach in our roof, the manager shared that they have a robust pest control program. Not sure of its effectiveness through.

Second visit to this property at a gap of about 1.5 years approx. Great location, good food, but I must say cleanliness and standard of housekeeping needs to improve. Very disappointed with the buffet breakfast spread, too few options, slow service. This was a great property last time we visited. I hope they pull up their sleeves and get better soon.

I have visited one of the top prestigious hotel in hospitality industry, which means Novotel Vijayawada Varun just for a coffee but the way they welcomed it makes me feel so special about their hospitality towards guests and they respect your time and privacy. The Best Hotel in Vijayawada. Had a fantastic experience in everything. Ambience, Service, Food, Rooms everything. In fact this hotel is located at a central point of the town where you can travel to every direction with ease. Coming to food, very tasty food and presented well. Every cuisine we had was great. Huge breakfast spread. The swimming pool is located on the terrace with an excellent view of the city. I am sure I will come back to this place again when I am in Vijayawada.

Had to change my 2 year old 5 star rating to 3 for few reasons. There were a few aspects of my visit that left me dissatisfied. Firstly, the ambiance in the massage room could be improved. There was a lot of noise coming from outside while I was getting my massage. Secondly, coordination issues among staff members. I went during the day and I was given an appointment for the evening for the same day, when I went there in the evening the staff changed and I was told to wait for half an hour after which they told me the therapist are not available so they have to push for next day. Complete chaos regarding scheduling appointments. Thirdly, next day morning I was provided the service but during the massage, there were moments when the pressure applied by the therapist was too mild which had no impact whatsoever. While I understand that different clients have different preferences, it might be helpful for therapists to check in with clients periodically regarding pressure. As it’s part of Novotel Varun group it is expected to provide beyond par experience and customer satisfaction. To improve, I would suggest getting soundproof glass doors and calming incense stick at in the massage rooms to create a more relaxing atmosphere. Have better communication between receptionists and therapist for providing better quality of service and not cancel on the clients.

Value for money. Amazing rooms. Satisfied with buffet. Only problem is the hospitality of staff. This was visible from the time of check-in to check-out. To give an example, our key card got deactivated and we had to go twice to the reception, and cal separately to get it activated. They should really retrospect how they’re treating customers.

Had a really pleasant experience in a suite room. The hospitality of the staff was amazing. Very prompt services by everyone. The ambience, the interiors, the food, the maintenance and overall the hospitality was excellent. Even the kids will have an amazing experience.

It is a decent hotel. Not my best experience of luxury stays. But the rooms are ok, the interiors of the hotel are super nice. We had issues with our toilet jet spray leaking and hence after every visit to the washroom, there used to be water on the floor. With that being said, the food here is great. One more thing which they missed was that outside many rooms, people had kept the leftovers which they might have ordered during the room service and that was not cleared for a long time by the hotel staff. That kind off takes away the points from health and hygiene of the location (pictures shared)

Probably one of the best hotel in vijaywada. Centrally located close to famous Benz circle. Rooms and other amenities are excellent condition. The the best thing was the view from the room and the terrace swimming pool. Staff and the service quality can be improved. Valet parking available. Food varieties are adequate but taste need to be improved. Best to travel with all family including young kids.

Went for dinner in food exchange..am most impressed by the entire staff, the high point is the personalized attention of the entire team is praiseworthy. The food is above average and more South Indian oriented it can be , it's my suggestion.fell in love with the Indian food . It gives us lot of pride and the service was at all times prompt and the staff was always courteous and with a smile . Great time i had , and indeed very grateful. We had Dinner Buffet today, this is just below 3 star experience... the cheapest 5 star hotel I have ever visited... they have invented 3 smart cost saving plans.... Curd,raita,fruits,few sweets which have milk..everything they put in freezer... so that they serve all the day... savings 1 funny thing is Ice cream freezer not in working condition ..so no ice cream ....savings 2 we get to know that...Mutton items available only on Sundays... only chicken & fish... Savings 3 what a strategy to save costs...kudos to the management

All Staff was Excellent..had afternoon Lunch is Very Taste, Evening Swimming Pool Experience Super and Room Service is also Very good and I believe this is the Number One Star Hotel around Vijayawada..So glad We Spent Time Here..

Just one word tells the experience here. AWESOME Did not stay here so can't comment on the rooms and other services for inhouse guests. But the food was Fab. The absolutely massive buffet much bigger than any restaurant in Vja With many live countera and an impressive dessert station to die for

I called to inquire about 31 night room booking with event. I took number from website which is showing there. My call has been transferred to different type of departments for multiple times. I can more than 7 times my call has been thrown from there to there but no one is able to explain about my query. This the the way Novotel Vijayawada team handled their reservation. I am really disappointed. Although room service boy wrote my number and told he will get back but no one turn up yet. Really unexpected from Novotel.

Novotel Vijayawada’s roof top staff are one of the cheapest hotel staff I’ve met namely Mr Chandu & his manager , being a regular customer, they do not know how to treat or respect their customers. They spoke very impolite & disrespectful to me. I was having complimentary snacks with my friends & in that two of them just visited - & had two bites of French fries , One of the staff from far been observing whether they’re eating or not & he came to me & said he will charge them for eating a bite , I did not bother to respond properly & later they had a roll he came to me directly & said they will charge for the package - which I denied as they had only one snack & you can charge for that. They were being very impolite & said “ if you don’t pay full we will call the security “ Is this how they speak to their customer ? Although it’s not my first time to novotel , I stay 3-4 days every month , yet these people treat customers bad, They really need to get trained to how to talk, behave & respond to their customers . First train these Ill- skilled people else you will lose your customers , it’s really high time stooping down so low - completely dissatisfying the customers. For a point , it feels like is this really Novotel or a street hotel ? Stooping down their standards . Very disgraceful !

We recently stayed here, room is really good. But Room service very bad, I had to wait for 1 hour for extra bed. For two floors there is only one house keeping staff poor guy working very hard. Bathroom floor is very very slippery

Nice Hotel with good rooms and punctual staff. The rooftop gymnasium and pool have a great view. Food spread is nice and to the taste, although may be a shade spicy at times. Overall a hospitable place in Vijaywada where you can have comfortable stay.

Nice place to stay, unfortunately did not get too much time in the hotel, but the rooms were nice and spacious and the hotel was conveniently located and had all the facilities we required. On a side note, really enjoyed the sleepy owl coffee in the room, only wish there would have been a nice take away cup available in the room. Would be perfect to grab it and go.

Saidulu- Front Desk has made our stay excellent each time we have been here. We will not stay anyplace else in Vijayawada. He has checked on us multiple times throughout our stay to make sure our time here has been perfect…and it has. This is the only and best place to stay in Vijayawada. Highly recommend and be sure and ask for Saidulu at the front desk!

The dining service is excellent, food items are top notch particularly the freshly backed bakery items which are irresistible.  Serious shortcomings in services, which requires improvement. Both me sn my colleagues had bitter experience of being locked out of their room due to access card getting deactivated after one day, even if the booking is for longer duration. Management must put extra efforts to improve on such counts.

Here is a detailed review of my overall experience Location: The hotel's location was excellent, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to public transportation . Room: The room was well-maintained. The bed was comfortable. Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent Facilities: The hotel had various type facilities available, including a gym center, swimming pool etc Service: The hotel staff, in general, were polite and helpful. We didn't have a good experience here with the service especially, we'd been travelling through the whole of India and this was by far the worst service we've received. Staff weren't friendly at checkin, we had been driving for 7+ hours and wanted to check in fast, but still took 20+ mins for the checkin process, and another 30 mins for a coffee and a milkshake to be made at the bar by checkin. In the end the milkshake took too long so they delivered it to our room (in a glass even though we'd asked for takeaway). The security weren't friendly either when asking where we could park. In the end we vowed not to stay in a big chain like this again when we could have way better value and service and more local places.

Overly hyped place. The main issue I encountered is they run the place with hotel management trainees and they do not train them properly. Hotel is good, ambience is good but service can be improved drastically. No proper response from front desk staff in case of bookings or any assistance. There needs to be some experienced staff.

We enjoyed our meal at Novotel. Sai Chef was professional and made a delicious meal. He made it exactly as we requested. Chaitanya also was courteous and provided great service. We will come again!

Very nice property. Rooms, amenities and breakfast are fine. But lacks human touch. Check in was a mess. The tariff offered was more than the agreed. He was not ready to contact the person who has confirmed the booking, for clarification. It has taken nearly 20 minutes for finishing the check in formalities. The FOM was not bothered even after we told him that we will not visit again. At the cake shop, there was nobody to attend. Asked me to wait at the couch for 20 minuted for a cake and even after that nobody responded. Service at the roof top bar takes too much time. Also eating food at roof top is not recommended. Takes atleast one hour for food to be served. A costly property with a narrow minded staff. Lacks professionalism.

Everything is nonsense here, room service is worst. They don’t even allow outside food and I don’t see anything interesting in the menu. There are other options like ITC and Lemon tree where you don’t have any restrictions. In here wherever you go the staff keep asking what's your room number what’s your room number which is not quiet professional. My personnel recommendation is never go for this, its’s not upto the mark of 5 start hotel service. And final thing here is lift service is also doesn’t work, you may have to place your card some 10-15 times to access the lift. Overall frustrated with the experience. I am giving this rating because I have stayed in 3,4 & 5 star hotels across various countries. One last thing to add in here they show different between the rooms. If you book a suit room they allow everything even outside food, if you book normal room you can go empty hands 🤣, this really is the funniest part for me, I think their in house restaurant isn’t running 🤣🤣🤣

located on ring road. Near to airport and Vijayawada city is also easily accessible. Benz circle is very near from here. Rooms are equipped with all necessary requirements. Decent in size but what stands out is service, very professional and humble staffs. Met Mr.Pawan he helped us a lot as we were with our aged parents he personally took care of them very polite and humble human. Great place , will visit soon.

Sky bar is amazing. I'll rate 5 just for the place. Service could have been better. I think some of the places in Hyderabad offer much better ambience and service for less price. Buffet was OKAY. other chains offer more varieties in non veg.

4 Stars for this 5 Star Hotel! Everything is superb except few minor glitches! The bedsheets were not cleaned properly. I saw few traces of hair, which is bad. Also, the coffee, sugar sachets, toiletries provided are pretty ordinary. Since we are paying premium, we expect premium! Infinite swimming pool and the view from terrace is superb! Breakfast is not complimentary. But it is the best part. The spread is vast and has almost everything that we can expect!

One of the best places to stay in Vijayawada. The location is a bit tricky as you have to cross Benz Circle (extreme traffic logging) if you're coming from Gudur but extremely convenient if you're coming from Airport. The rooms are neat and clean. The service is also very fast. The breakfast has multiple options and one can feast well. The cleanliness and maintenance is excellent.

Never expected in a 5 start hotel, felt like as if I was the only person avail the services as for a fresh towel i had to keep calling for more than an hour and there was no person also on the floor to assist me. Measures have to be taken so that the calls would be attended. Rooms also wer small, that's fine as the service for which we book these hotels when not received it's not a got feeling.

At 40m long Novotel's sky pool is nearly Olympic size. Managed to get two swims one at night and the other in the morning. It was wonderful. Rooms and fittings were good also, the only issue was when I slept and turned the master light off it cut power to the charging point also and I was left with a dead phone next morning. Mentioned this to the hotel manager hopefully will be resolved.

I have been there for my business trip, the arrangement and turn around the banquet for us in less time limit is mesmerizing. Rooms are quite spacious and clean. food was excellent taste and too good.

Went for an exhibition and had the regular Novotel buffet lunch there. The exhibition was great, in the large ballroom space. I was not impressed with the buffet lunch though. The quality and variety of food was average, not at the level I would expect for Novotel. Service was ok.

Very poor air conditioning!! I’ve been to the restaurant on 01.06.23 for dinner. This is not my first time too at Varun’s. Every time I’ve been there I had good experiences, but yesterday the air conditioning was very poor everyone were talking about the same. When I informed about the same to the stewardess she said as it’s open area it’s hard to maintain. I’m surprised to hear that, as it was supposed maintain accordingly. If you want to plan something to eat there, you might not feel comfortable please check before you take the plate. 2. I felt bad when stewards and stewardess were not around for a very long time, as I waiting to order something on my table. 3. Service isn’t Upto the mark.

Simply loving, the food & the maintenance. Always prefer Novotel over other 5 star rated Hotels. A bit costly but matches with service & maintenance. The buffet meals are overpriced for the menu.
