A lovely weekend destination located around 4-5 kms from Ananthagiri Hills View Point. Crowd is very less hence the natural beauty of the place is still maintained but I could see a few liquor bottles and plastic bottles lying around - I am pretty sure with time this is going to spoil the place just like many places in and around Hyderabad. Google Maps will lead you to a resort, however you need to ride further down and you will get a road that will lead you down to this place. If you come in a car you can reach till a particular point only hence the most convenient transport medium is two wheeler.

A wonderful place where you can feel refreshed. The main attraction if thus place was the bridge that was on the lake. Only 1 bike can move on that bridge. It feels very scary while riding the bike on that bridge but at the same time you feel adventurous and excited. If you have a drone, you can get the best videos and pictures unbelievably. One of the best place for kayaking spot at vikarabad. Water is good here with 4 kayaking boats available. Two are for singles and two are for double. For single 200/30 minutes and for double 300/30 minutes. Lake shore is very good one can have lunch near the shore.

It is not popular, other than inquiring with local people, a nice place which you see from anantagiri sunrise and sunset point, it is about 4-5 kms from hill top, only bikes can go and not even cars can reach till view point as there is an old railway bridge through which cars may not go through, you can't find anything to eat or drink.

One of the very decent short drives to do for a day tour from Hyderabad. Less crowd and decent views.

Good lake, but no way to reach the lake with car. Cars even SUV gets stuck in mud , so better park them around Main Black Top road and walk down to lake

Clean and fresh water. Kayaking is also available which you can buy through online but as of now it is not available. Do visit the place you can have some quality time here.

Beauty full place

The kayaking is arranged by the resort located near by. People who are not their guests may have to request the kayaking team head for allowing. we paid RS 500 for 15mins ride .. nice experience.. be there around 430pm so that you can try to discuss terms with the kayaking team.

Good natural destination for weekend trips to enjoy the touch of breeze on the beds of calm lake. You can also visit very nearby hill view point 'anadapuri' on same trip. Beautiful lake to swim and chill out with friends. Water is very cold. Sarpanpally is a Village in Dharur Mandal in Rangareddi District of Telangana State. People can have fun in lake as there is no dangerous things in water.

One of the best lakes in Telangana . I advice you not to take the vehicle into the water. As we had a bad experience of car getting struck in the water. as the mud is very slippery.
