It's the junction and origination point for Marathwada region. The track to Hazur Sahib Nanded starts from here and the loco reversal is also done at this place. The diesel and electric locos are a common sight at this point because of non- electrification of Marathwada pine.

Cleanliness at it's best in this railway station well designed platforms seating arrangement is well. The one thing I liked & automatically my hand raise to click the most attractive wall paintings on the wall in this railway station are so awesome. I was feeling that literally I am in the temple of a God. The second thing is I liked the most is cleanliness. 🇮🇳👌👌💐

Trains to Hyderabad,chennai,bengalore,solapur,mumbaiand bidar available. It is a busy junction. Cleanliness are good Use foot over bridge to go to 2 or 3 or 1 dont cross railway tracks by entering on them If police see you there will be a long process Your 2 to 3 days will be wasted dont break rules here Last year by breaking once i faced a lot. Maintained. If you need to buy tickets from station give correct money they dont have change. And you can TICKETS FROM ATVM MACHINE BY MAKING UPI PAYMENTS .. cleanliness are good. In the night time beware of pick pocketers..... One of the busiest and best railway station. Many trains have tandur stop rathar than vikarabad because near to lingampally. If you want to go long city go to tandur and book tickets from there.... Overall good experience..
