Sagar Ratna is the best place to eat if you are looking for a quick bite or a family meal or literally any occasion which calls for good food. It has the best instrumental music, obviously very tasteful and fulfilling food and a family ambience. Kids and adult friendly. Very homely. The South Indian thali is a must must try. Chinese is good too.

Nice small seating area not like earlier or other sagar ratnas but clean and nice. Had garlic ghee roast plain dosa which was very nice....podi idlies were soft and flavourful....paper plain dosa was as good and crispy...rasam was little thick but tasty and apalam with onion chutny enhanced its taste....crispy aloo chaat was really yumm...filter coffee was fresh....overall experience was nice. very attentive servers with right attitude....

Ordered mini idlis, dosa and uttapam but found BEE in sambhar. Manager's response is I will send the order again but will they be able to make new sambhar? Very negligent on quality avoid, if possible.

Service Review - Average staff a very dull staff who are not responsible at all and are very poor at there job! The food was late and everything was oveeeerrrrrrpriced. One main guy here said to try there "Idli Chaat" It's 170rs but it doesn't taste like more than an average chat worth 30rs, SO PLEASE DON'T TRY THIS EVEN THEY TRY TO CONVINCE YOU FOR THAT IDLI CHAT" The Thali I ordered was there most expensive one and I'm quite sure they didn't use fresh items. The bread felt stale and hard. They don't know serving technique at all. There might be better restaurant in the area make sure to check them out before here. CONCLUSION.:- NOT RECOMMENDED ! So, get through this review and leave a like if it helped !

One would expect high quality standards from such a reputed brand. But alas, I was highly disappointed. The cold drink served was not cold. When asked for ice, they gave us murky ice. I mean you could literally see the ice is dirty but I guess the staff missed it. Then I got extra 'crunch' in my noodles, prolly due to dirt as well. The staff did change the ice and the noodles upon complaining but why serve like that in the first place. I can understand the dish part but not the ice. The ice was visibly dirty but still served. Anyways, the dosa was good and that's what's earned them the one star from me. Good luck.

Poor ambience and food quality is the poorest. No cleaning and poor and dirty cutlery. Do not ever go there. Better to eat from street vendors. I went in first 2018, it was poor but again went in 2021 with family as they insisted and I realised this is even pathetic now ..

Food quality has improved, service was delightful, water was clean, plates were cleaned, kids safe, tables & chairs arrangement could be better though. My family enjoyed every bite, we were pleasantly surprised.

We had South Indian Thali. It was very good. Only lemon rice needs improvement. The ambience and service is very good. Menu and prices are good. The only problem is that the approach to the lift to the 3rd floor restaurant is very narrow and goes through a shop on the ground floor. Second, the board of the restaurant is not visible clearly from ground level. The dining hall is very spacious and service is good. Food is very good. Worth going.

Good food, South Indian offcourse is a speciality but north indian food is also worth a mention... though they could brighten the ambience which a little depressing and not very inviting.

Love the food and the service. Sitting by the windows also has a good view. Our favorite is the idli chaat and the dosa. The filter coffee was good too on a cold winter day.

I ordered MALAI KOFTA on 4th January 2024,it was too hard to break into pieces.. Then I complained the manager.. He made it again and by the time it was delivered again at our table we were finished by our Dinner,, so got it packed for home. When I opened it, there was the same hard and spoiled Malai kofta that we returned. They packed it back and made us fool for the same. HADN'T EXPECTED THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR FROM THE TEAM OF SAGAR RATNA. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED

Tried their uttapam once. The size is smaller now but otherwise ok. Sambhar was average. Chutneys were ok too. Once we ordered for a breakfast combo at home. Home delivery. Idli and dosa with sambhar and chutneys. Sambhar again average and too less a quantity in packaging. It’s not enough.

Scary and creepy with barely any footfall. The usual prosperity and cleanliness seemed missing so we left without eating.

They charged a lot, served very little quantity of food. We ordered 300 rupees Dosa. It was not enough for one person and it was tasteless as well. We also ordered spring rolls and some other items. All of them were tasteless. I would say street food is better than their food. I would rate - 1 out of 10. Worst restaurant ever. Please don't waste money. I am fine with spending a lot of money on food but at least food should taste good.

Very good service. Delicious dosas you can get here. We tried masala podi ghee roast dosa - it was really good in taste. We repeated the order. Everyone must try rava dosa too. Average ambience. Normal service.

For food it is a 4* but for ambience it is a 2*. So a combined avg is 3..

Very close to authentic South Indian food service. Good food and service. The restaurant could be done up a bit to upscale it and more airy for ventilation. There is a gloomy feel right now.
