Very nice restaurant in the city center of Guimarães, but away from the crowded squares near the cathedral. We are here quite randomly because we were searching for a cheap and good restaurant but we were not disappointed. We had croquettes of queijo and croquettes of ham, and pork with fries and ananas (very good!), plus one beer, one coffe and water. Everything for 25€. The waitress was very nice and kind.

We called in here for a beer and to make plans to find somewhere for our evening meal. As we sat there the specials board caught our eyes so we asked a bit more about it. Decided that we'd give it a go and ordered a couple of the fish specials. Everything was cooked to order, and the meals that were delivered to our table looked superb. Both the meals were delicious and our plates were cleared so quickly that we even had time to try a pudding, and again we were not disappointed. This place isn't on the main roads in town, so probably doesn't get the passing customers that some of the other restraints get, but it's definitely worth seeking it out. The welcome we received was also very warm, despite neither of us speaking very much Portuguese. I would definitely recommend eating here, or just stopping off for a drink and tapas.

Do yourself a favour and visit this restaurant if you are in Guimaraes. The woman who served me was incredibly friendly and pleasant. She was also very helpful. The food was delicious. I had the croquetas de presunta (ham croquettes) and these were amazing. Crispy outer shell with soft cheese and ham inside. I also had the traditionally Portuguese sandwich and again, this was incredibly tasty. The beef was soft and juicy and the flavour was amazing. Go in search of this restaurant and treat yourself when in Guimaraes.

Delicious sandwiches! We ate ham, cheese and beef sandwiches with fine vinho verde. The owner, Andres, was warm, welcoming and funny. Perfect, quiet location, off the touristy path. Cute outdoor patio in a quiet square. Great prices.

Exactly what street food is meant to be! Great prices(6.5 euros per sandwich, 1.5 for a beer), one of the best traditional steak sandwiches we had and very friendly stuff. Highly recommended!

Friendly, helpful and tasty. A great little restaurant in the centre of town but away from the big crowds and big prices!

The mortadella sandwich was good and filling. Removing a star as the Portuguese sandwich was much smaller and with less filling.

What a great spot for lunch! And super kid friendly. They had their own kids in the restaurant doing arts and crafts. And they offer homemade chicken fingers and fries for the kids. The adult food was delicious - the bacalau a bras was the best we had in Portugal and the sangria was also very tasty.

It is very close to the Largo de Oliveira. You can find any type of comfort food here. I had spicy pizza and unfiltered original wine. It was perfect. People are extremely friendly. Totally recommended.

Amazing food, amazing feeling and location. This streetfood joint offers the best you can get to eat and drink. My personal favorites are the sandes de picanha and the sangria de maracujá
