One of the best experiences you'll get in the Porto region in terms of food quality and experience. The restaurant feels like a genuine Brazilian dining room with simple and cosy sets of tables and chairs, full of colour for a proper presentation. But the best part is obviously the food. Ana is a hell of a chef, and a versatile one at that, who's able to cook food from all regions of Brazil as if she's been a native in each of the country's 27 states since her childhood. I highly recommend it!

Huge disappointment. We ordered three vegan labelled dishes (which were separated in special section), but the restaurant does not have any idea what vegetarian or vegan is. Pastel “with vegan cheese” had actually real, cow cheese. The worse were vegan bean balls - they added bacon to the dressing! Disgusting and lack of professionalism. Furthermore, the waiter had no idea what he was doing. He was coming back multiple times with the information that something was missing. We arrived there at 20:10 but we received the first dishes only after 21:30...

This place was the best food experience I had in Matosinhos. My wife had a “Tuguinho” and I had de “bobó de camarão” Both dishes were fantastic and very true to the Brazilian cuisine. Highly recommend giving the bobó a try.

Completely unexpected experience. The workers were extremely sweet and explained the whole menu since we didn’t speak Portuguese. It was my first time eating Brazilian food but I cannot imagine it getting any better. I highly recommend Abrazos for the price, quality, and home like energy of the workers and chef.

Great Brazilian dishes from the Bahia region. Slow service, kinda pricey, but the acarajé is amazing!

Food is mediocre at best, service was terrible. I had to wave vigorously to get the (only) server's attention (he was looking at his phone). Then I had to ask him to clear the table. Owner unfriendly. She walked by our table many times and although I smiled at her, I could not get her to make eye contact. When our table needed to be cleared, she sat at a table on her computer with her Yorkie on her lap. Her son, sitting with her (on his phone) could be taught to clear tables. We will never eat there again! There are many other choices at the Mercado, both floors.

I recently had the most amazing experience of tasting the most delicious Moqueca de Robalo ever. And here's the surprising part: I'm usually not a fan of fish dishes! But Ana Sales, oh my, she has an extraordinary talent for creating flavors that are simply out of this world. Her culinary skills are truly remarkable, and I can't help but shower her with the highest praise. Ana Sales, thank you for introducing me to a taste sensation like no other! As a Brazilian who lives in Toronto, Canada I wish we had a Abrazô there. Muito obrigado Ana por grande experiência!!!
