My wife and I spent a wonderful long weekend in Porto at Na Travessa Suites. We chose this place because of its very convenient location to the São Bento Station as well as the bridge and much more. We loved all the charm of this very tastefully remodeled piece of Porto’s history. The included breakfast was a nice plus…but most significantly, was the attention of the caring owner and her staff, who wanted to meet every expectation and even anticipated some. Marianna was extraordinarily helpful and multi-lingual. We fully plan to return with guests in the Spring.

Na Travessa Suites exceeded my expectations. Mariana and all the staff we incredibly welcoming, warm, and accommodating. The whole building is incredibly well designed. I would truly recommend this if you are a lover of design and want to stay in the heart of the city. Location is unbeatable, it is in the heart of the action and close to public transit if you decide to take the train from the airport. I also have to talk about the amazing breakfast! Wow, every morning Mariana and her staff would assemble a gorgeous and hearty breakfast of pastries, eggs, meats, cheeses, breads and more. It was a great way to start the day and I truly enjoyed that I didn't have to go out looking for breakfast every morning. They are also highly informed about the area and break down the best places to visit upon arrival. A great place to stay, an amazing staff, clean accommodations. I can't give high enough praise. I WILL be coming back! Also, very LGBTQ+ friendly, I highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Na Travessa Suites! The owner is incredibly kind and has designed a beautiful property in the heart of Porto. I recommend booking a room with the view of the city! The amenities are up-to-date and the wifi is fast! The room was very comfortable! We really enjoyed the balcony our room had in the morning! All guests have a complimentary breakfast that’s delicious. The owner goes above and beyond to have fresh fruit, local pastries, and hot coffee/tea for guests in the morning.

We had a very nice stay at Na Travessa. Mariana was wonderful; she was very communicative, helped make reservations for us, and made sure we were enjoying our stay. The room was great and fit most of our needs, and the hotel itself felt very modern. Do note though a couple drawbacks - no safe or fridge in the room, and the location is at the top of a tall hill (hard to lug bags up), right across from a market (smelling of fish) and a space where a number of homeless people sleep. We had to keep our window shade closed most of the time since we faced the front.

Na Travessa has been the best place we stayed on our whole Europe trip. Mariana is a lovely warm host. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time in Porto; offering recommendations for sight seeing and booking delicious local restaurants. The rooms are spotlessly clean, tasteful and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was delicious and beautifully presented! The building itself is so peaceful and tranquil - you can really tell the amount of effort, love and time Mariana has put in to creating this beautiful accomodation. Thank you Mariana for everything. We (a family of four) took the chance to stay at NA TRAVESSA SUITES at the beginning of January 2023. From the moment when we booked our stay the owner Marianna was very friendly and helpful. She arranged our pickup from the airport, suggested activities and great restaurants and made reservations for us. Her breakfast (fresh fruit, eggs and bakery) is a perfect start for the day! The hotel is very well designed and our rooms had a beautiful view on to the old town of Porto. The location is close to Sao Bento - just perfect to explore Porto by foot. Over all a five star rating! We strongly recommend this fantastic place!

Honestly, one of the most impressive stays. What a cute and charming place. Mariana’s kindness, friendliness and attention to details is what makes this place above and beyond. Rooms are super comfortable and clean. Location is in the center of everything. Breakfast is all fresh ingredients. Extremely happy with my choice, and the price we paid. will definitely return again.

Great hotel for your stay in Porto. It is a relatively small hotel which makes feel like home. The staff is fantastic, extremely kind and smiling. The location is ideal as you can go wherever you need from there and it will never take more than 15mns walking. The breakfast is served at the table and is diverse and delicious.

Excellent hotel, food, staff, location and interior design!!! I cannot praise this place and it’s staff enough. Mariana and the rest of the crew made me feel very welcome. My home away from home! I will definitely come back. I miss this place already! Perfect place for solo female travelers like me, but also couples.

This is a wonderful place for a stay in Porto, in the middle of the old town with walking distance to all sights, phenomenal architecure with tremendous views over the city. The place is run by the owners and the hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpfull. Breakfast is served in the patio/open ground floor with wonderful sweet and savoury local specialities. Na Travessa Suites is a wonderful, if not the most wonderful place to stay in Porto. The owners are absolutely adorable and so helpful - and it makes all the difference. They make each guest feel truly special and at home. The rooms are quiet, the bed super comfortable, and the view over the city is just stunning. Very central location too, so you can walk pretty much everywhere. I loved the cosy atmosphere, and the minimalist interior design. I will come back for sure, muito obrigada Mariana and Pedro !

Highly recommend this hotel! Mariana was so kind and gracious. Her smile made us feel so welcome. She was always available via text for recommendations and advice. The breakfast here is also stellar! Freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs made to order, a variety of bread and patries, fruit and spreads. Beds were comfortable and location was ideal as it was near the bridge, castle and Sao Bento station. I would say that if you are a solo traveler be mindful when going back to the hotel at night as there are some homeless across the hotel and they may ask for money. No one gave us issues, but be vigilant. Bathroom is a little small in the one bedroom unit. Keep this in mind if you require more space for mobility as the door will make contact with the toilet. View onto the street however is gorgeous! Book this location, you will be well taken care of!!

Mariana and her staff made our time in Porto very enjoyable. The facilities are nice, the breakfast is delicious, and the location in central. Highly recommend for your next visit to this beautiful city.

Mariana will feed you a luxury breakfast with fresh goodies, to start your day perfectly. Special commendation to the music choice you’ll be enjoying during breakfast. Add to that the very reasonable pricing and you’ve got yourself the perfect place to call home during your stay in Porto. Highly recommended and our next stay will definitely be here again!

It was an amazing hotel,new ,modern ,very clean with the best stuff.the location was the best if you want to explore Porto ,very nice and comfortable beds,the breakfast was delicious and the stuff there helped us with everything.for sure i will come again.

My vote would be a 4-. Na travessa suites is a very nice place - it has great interiors and all the furniture is tailor-made. It is quite unique! The place is especially nice in the backyard and the breakfast area. However, this is still far from deserving 5 stars: - the breakfast is just ok. From such a special place, I would expect something more typical and authentic than a continental breakfast. Something homemade and seasonal would be better. - the rooms are quite small. - the hotel is very central; however, it is in a sketchy street. Although nothing happened, still I would not feel comfortable to go there at night as a solo traveller.

Mariana is a courteous, helpful and nice hostess... everything begins even before the trip with questions us (either by e-mail or, as with us, by WhatsApp) regarding where, what, when and how she could possibly help (cab etc.) Since we arrived in porto earlier, our rooms were prioritized and made ready earlier. positive: service (perfect from arrival to departure), breakfast (lots of choice and super delicious), room (clean and nicely furnished), location (right in the heart of Porto) neutral: the street where the hotel is located looks a bit deserted (especially at night) negative: nothing

We had such a lovely stay at Na Trevessa Suites and were so well taken care of by Mariana and Joana. The location was perfect, as we could walk easily to the main section of the historic city. It is across from a closed market where some people do hang out at night, but we had no problem at any time of day--and we regularly saw police officers present in the area. The view from our room was a spectacular look at the old city and river and the port warehouses across the river. The breakfast was ample and delicious. The room was not huge but was very comfortable, with a good shower and comfortable bed. The staff was so kind and friendly and extremely helpful--especially going above and beyond when my husband and I were ill for a couple of days. I would highly recommend staying here--we said many times how glad we were of our choice. We felt right at home.
