The worst place I have ever been in my life. The food was below average. The waiters seems to be all lost did not know what to do. Our main dishe which was a house special called muqueca de camarão grande came before our starters and when we asked the waiter what happened to our starters he did not know what was going on. The waiter said he would go and check to see what was to be the problem and never came back had to call another waiter... my wife and I came to Brazil in our honeymoon and did some travel around Brazil (which I must say if you are coming to Brazil make sure you visit Fernando de Noronha) and this place was recommended to us as a very good place. Overall the food was not good. The service was the worst it could be. The food was overpriced in relation to the qualify. Apart from a broken chair that almost caused an injury to my wife in which they did not even bother to apologise the restaurant itself looks okay. Honestly do not waist your time or money in this restaurant we was so disappointed we just wanted to pay and leave!!!!

I got food poisoning for about 12 hours the first time I went there in 2019. I didn’t publish anything I thought it was bad luck. Yesterday 30 of Sep, I returned. The server was unenthusiastic. I asked for Pink Sauce and it didn’t exist. Pink sauce is maionese and ketchup. I enjoy that with fried shrimp and fish nuggets. I then asked for the two ingredients separate and was willing to make the pink sauce. The restaurant doesn’t have regular maionese, even though the server said he does prior to us confirming the order. I should have returned the plate upon receiving what seemed to be a green maionese. I didn’t return the plate and I did pay the service fee. I don’t think it was deserved and the food overall was ok. I would prefer to eat fried shrimp and fish nuggets where there is pink sauce or the ingredients to make it, this place clearly doesn’t offer as much. I certainly don’t believe they don’t have the ingredients, it was just a matter of the server being stubborn and unwilling to provide minimal customer service. Do what you would like with that information.

The crab is good ,,but the filet mignon parmesan out of the world

A nice open restaurant maintained extremely clean by a wonderful & humble senior Lady. The food is diverse in tastes and textures, and in my humble opinion better to savour the many dishes on offer to truly appreciate the menu.

I liked the place, it was the first time I tried crab so I assume it was good, a nice first. :) We also had the fish moqueqa which was very tasty. We struggled a bit at the end to ask for the check as the place was incredibly crowded and the staff extremely busy.

Obwohl wir mehrmals darauf hingewiesen haben, dass die Moqueca ohne Koriander sein muss (Allergie), kam sie mit viel Koriander. Die Antwort der Bedienung war nur "ich habe es aber aufgeschrieben". Austauschen wollte er sie nicht.

Traditional and well-known venue in Vila Velha. Friendly and responsive staff. Average prices. Crabs are their specialties and definitely worth a try.
