My beef was good but my friend ordered slow cooked cow cheeks. The meat tasted really bad, like liver. Presentation was very poor, just mushed potatoes and tasteless spoon of some veggies. Not recommended. Super pricy! Definetly not the best restaurant in Sal. Very dissapointed since this was supposed to be our fancy dinner out.

Expensive, but good tuna both in the starter and the main. I guess I should have checked which fish was in the starter before ordering. As it just said "fish" I expected something else than tuna as the other dishes containing tuna specified that. So I ended up having tuna twice. The waitress could have tipped me off about it. A bit heavy on the Dijon mustard in the green pepper sauce.

Great restaurant! Duck with its ravioli and tagliatelle sicilian style was very good!! 🤌🏼 Was fully booked when we were there, so it is wise to make a reservation

Definitely the best Capo Verde Sal island can offer. We chose this place for dinner based on the reviews and it was worth it. Restaurant is a bit off-located from the main streets which ensures more peacefull environment. The dishes were beautiful, sizable and most importantly tasted like heaven. Fresh seafood combined with hint of molecular gastronomy worked perfectly. This place only has a few customer seats so table reservation is kind of a mandatory.

Cozy and reserved space. Excellent service that makes us feel part of the family. Excellent quality food from appetyzer to dessert. Difficult sometimes to get a reservation.

Go to Marea, you won't regret it. Food was amazing, honestly the best food on the island. Fantastic service. We had a wonderful evening.

We had dinner in this restaurant with four people. All dishes were fantastic regarding taste and presentation, the service awesome. We did not expect this on the island of Sal. Most likely the best you can have on the island. The surprise in the end was a taste sensation.
