During our vacation to Cape Verde in Santa Maria Island, my group had the opportunity to dine at a restaurant owned by a charming couple from the UK. We had a wonderful experience there. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received from the couple who owned it. One of the highlights of our visit was undoubtedly the delectable food. The restaurant offered a wide range of dishes, both local African cuisine and dishes from native UK. We found the location of the restaurant to be convenient. This made it accessible for tourists and a welcoming spot for anyone visiting Cape Vade. The exceptional quality of the food, the warm hospitality, and the convenient location made us eager to recommend this restaurant to fellow travelers. If you're a tourist visiting Cape Vade, make sure to stop by and savor the diverse and delicious dishes they have to offer.

The best place for delicious flavorful food in Santa Maria! The service is always on point and the owners are very friendly. Serves various meat dishes as well as tasty vegetarian (and vegan) options. Must go!

We went on a Friday night, the live music and performances were great! Really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. I assume it was the owner was sitting outside small talking with some guests and checking in on people so the service was great. None of this compares to the food however. The food was top notch, reminded me of going home to the Caribbean! The jerk fish was highly recommended, the ginger beer is exactly how it should be, everything was 5/5. Overall, I would highly recommend you spending at least one evening at The Coconut Room, I'll surely come back to try some more dishes before I leave :)

Lovely atmosphere and beer was priced well. We did not eat but others did and they said it was quality food. Defo a place to visit

Waited over 2 1/2 hours for food to be served. I ordered the jerk fish which was supposed to be a whole snapper as the menu said but got fillet of fish. The entertainment was brilliant. The drummers were very energetic and full of vibes .

Wow!! This place is such a gem, I loved the vegetable soup, jollof rice and plantain. Everything was delectable and the people here are very caring

Staff members are really nice and friendly. Food is delicious,very good presentation and in a very good location.
