My favourite restaurants in Santa Maria! Art Kafé is more than just a restaurant - it's a culinary experience that leaves a lasting impression. ❤️ The atmosphere is warm and inviting, much like the owner who goes above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of perfect. The food is a symphony of flavors, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The salmon salad and homemade crispy chicken were out of this world. This women-owned business is a shining beacon of the vibrant and diverse culinary scene in Santa Maria!

Nice little restaurant, with cosy atmosphere, tucked away at the end of Santa Maria, far from the main street and the touristy area. We ordered the mix of tapas which was super filling (it came with veggies, bruschette, small fritters) and the cachupa as main dish. I am vegan, so I ordered the vegan cachupa with banana - it tasted amazing! My partner had the chorizo version and still had space for dessert: camoca and crumble. The food is tasty and cooked with love. Service is friendly and the prices affordable. Best meal in Santa Maria by far.

One word, amazing….. the food, the drinks and what a special team works here, the owner, a great local lady, she knows what hospitality means. The food is fresh and so tasty that amazed even me, I did work as a chef, wow this was so good, and also for my vegan girlfriend, she was surprised as well. Xaja the owner did help us also with most of our tours with only locals. We come back, that’s for sure. Kisses from Holland 😘😎

Great atmosphere and lovely staff! Food was amazing, the best on the whole island. Grilled tuna and aubergine & goat cheese lasagna was unreal!

People open restaurants for all sorts of reasons, but you can tell when a restaurant owner is genuinely motivated to create a blissful atmosphere for their guests. This is clearly the case with Art Kafé. It first caught my attention while I was running by at night: it was like a spotlight illuminating the little outdoor seats, and the smiling faces of the customers. So we went the next day, and we realized what made the people at this little Kafé smile. The owner returned to Santa Maria after living in the Netherlands with a clear vocation: to create a peaceful atmosphere, prepare curated dishes, and forever feel like she’s hosting guests, rather than serving customers. And she perfectly fulfills her vocation! You rarely stumble upon such a genuine and blissful spot. So, I wish for many more to take the chance to be guests at Art Kafé!

Amazing choice for breakfast! The breakfast menu is very tasty for such a good price. Very nice atmosphere and interior 😍 we can just recommend to have a meal here.

Super süßer laden und so leckeres Essen!! Super cute Café! The food was absolutely delicious and local. The Goat Cheese Salad - daaaaamn, I tried the Tuna Steak and today I the exotic rice with banana- so tasty. I recommend this restaurant 🩷

Everything was amazing, food, vibe and the view. We are coming back tomorrow. Especially I recommend the qrociets made of fish so good and freshly made 🥰😍🤗
