If you are somewhere near Tarragona or Reus planning your pastime, go for a tour and wine tasting to De Muller, the former Vatican supplier. This experience will give you a lot more that you can expect. It’s a relatively big wine producer having a wide range of products under DO Tarragon and DOQ Priorat (about 40 different wines produced). Among them there are still and sparkling wines as well as sweet wines and vermouth. What’s interesting is that in the most of cases the main enologist by himself is doing the visits and shows all the processes and buildings without exceptions. Moreover, you’ll be offered to taste 5 wines in a beautiful tasting room full of old barrels full of sweet moscatel wine. The estate is beautiful by itself and has a rich historical heritage. 10/10

This place, blew, my, mind. It was absolutely incredible, by far one of the best experiences I've ever had (I'm very interested in wine.) Marina, who led the wine tasting, had a refreshing passion for her profession, and it was so lovely to see a younger person in such a position. She brought real energy and something very special to the experience. We were given 6 wines to try, combined with a small but generous tasting platter to let us play around with flavours and match up with the wines as we wished. If you are wondering whether to book this experience or not, do not hesitate and just do it, you will not be disappointed!
