Well we went here for a good breakfast. I would have gave them 3.5 stars but I had to go with 3. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast with grits, my eggs over easy so yellow is runny but white is done. I like mixing my grits with my eggs. Well my eggs just barely had the yellow still runny. My husband's was good so I know whoever cooked could do it. Anyway, the grits actually were pretty good. I'm from NC so I know good grits. 👍 My bacon was very crispy like I like. I also ordered extra home fries which most places are chopped up potatoes with onions. Not here they come out as potatoes cut up in quarters and fried like French fries. Atleast waitress took them off bill. I took a picture just to let people know in case they go they will know ahead of time. 👍

We were in St. Augustine on vacation and it was my dad's birthday. He said he wanted flounder so we headed to the Oasis. It was a quiet night at the restaurant. Our server was great and they answered all the questions we had, and offered good suggestions. I got the coconut shrimp, and it was superb! The shrimp itself was super tender, and the coconut breading was the perfect thickness to still let the flavor of the shrimp standout. My dad's flounder was delicious and the portion size was HUGE! My mom ordered the fried oysters which were tasty, as well. She let me try one, and BONUS, I found a pearl! The food was wonderful, the service was great, and if we have time while we're here we'll definitely go back.

Hubby and I decided to check out this local eatery while we were in town for a singing convention. It was pouring rain in the middle of October on a Thursday afternoon. The parking lot was almost full... always a good sign, right? We didn't check out the whole place, but it's much bigger than my photos show. I ordered their special of the day Red Fish blackened - taco's with cheese grits. Hubby had their build a burger. The portions were generous. They blackened my red fish perfectly. The fish was tender, juicy, and delicious. I finished my plate. The grits were creamy and had a bold, smokey taste. Yum! Hubby said that was one of the best burgers he's ever had. 😋 Laila, our server, had a warm smile, was sweet and attentive. Great service! Definitely recommend 👌

Great food and awesome service 😀 the food was absolutely delicious and we couldn't be more happy with the food. They had a band playing, and the amphotsphere was point on. We will definitely return when we are in the area again 😀 this place had it going on.. 👍 😀 🙌

We stopped here for lunch. It’s on the highway and next to a parking lot. But you would NEVER know. The screen they have blocking the parking lot is creative, it’s tropical. I got a basic cheeseburger with onion rings. It was not a pre made patty, it was fresh hamburger. Best burger I’ve had in a long time. Husband got blackened snapper and red beans and rice. He loved everything. I think he said the food was genuine. We will definitely come back next time we’re here. Our Server Grace, was knowledgeable and pleasant. The service, food, drinks alone made this place nice, but Grace and the service made it exceptional

Was super excited to try The Oasis. Wasn’t let down by the food but unfortunately I found the service wasn’t the best as stated in other reviews. Our server was nice but wasn’t helpful when asking about the menu or pairings for certain menu items. A lot of unsure answers instead of confidently recommending items & pairings. Service could’ve definitely made the experience but food was really good I guess.

A casual family friendly beach restaurant. It was busy on a Sunday morning so we had to sit in the overflow room which was a bit narrow and small for our large party. Large breakfast and brunch menu. The food was hot but just ok. The service was good.

Visited this world famous joint which specializes in very tasty raw and baked oysters and other dishes. The service and prices were outstanding and the ambiance inside the restaurant was fantastic. We had no complaints or issues with the food because it was exceptional.

The food was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Austin K. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and even asked the cook if they would make breakfast for our son, even though it was 30 minutes past the end of breakfast time which was 3:00 pm. The prices were good and the food delicious. Pictured is the 1/2 lb steamed shrimp and the Gonzo burger with fries. Add jalapenos to the burger...

I was recommended to go here because I really wanted a baked potato... I didn't know what I was in for, they said "if you've eaten once today that potato is going to be too much". I'm always up for a challenge. I decided to order a fully loaded twice baked potato with my sandwich... Needless to say I took that whole sandwich and a quarter of the potato home and didn't have to cook the whole next day. Sometimes I have dreams where I'm eating a world famous oasis twice baked potato where the inside is layered with a bed of cheese, comfortably nesting perfectly cooked real bacon bits, not that precooked trash, and then blanketed with fresh chives that looked as though God himself had grown and cut them. As I type this my mouth is salivating. The first time I ordered it I thought maybe it was a fluke but to my surprise it was yet again huge and delicious. Since that day if there's ever a time when I want to get the potato that dreams are truly made of and feed two people, I make the journey... A pilgrimage if you will to the world famous oasis, where those dreams come true. And they have a great fish sandwich.

We had another great meal at The Oasis! This is always on our list when we are in town and never disappoints. We arrived around 1130am (Tuesday before Thanksgiving) and easily found a table upstairs for our party of 7. Our server, Allison, was terrific! She made sure we had everything we needed, and even took a family picture for us. The four adults in our group all got Whalers, which is a large fish sandwich (fried or blackened) with peppers, onions, and cheese. It comes with one side, from which there are many good ones to choose (I got tater tots). There are lots of tvs around with different games and events to watch. Overall, great casual atmosphere, great food, and great service, all for a fair price. Thank you!

As a family of 8 we weren’t sure how welcoming it would be, but we were pleasantly surprised with the food and atmosphere! The view from the second floor was great and service was pretty nice. I got the fried scallops and they were very tender and tasty. The fried squash was incredible!

Ok, this place has a dining experience for everyone. Upstairs, sports bar with high top dining with wrap around views of the area. We ate through the sunset hours, and the cool coastal winds blew through all the windows! Very nice. The down stairs were table seating. The outside offered live music and a walk-up mini bar. We loved our waiter and tipped accordingly. Very laid-back and patient.

Oasis has always been a staple eatery for the locals and repeat tourist. I've never been disappointed with the food or service even on busy days. Today was no exception, with crab cakes, triple tail fish, fresh onion rings really great date night.

If you enjoy perfectly cooked fish, look no further! Very reasonably priced excellent service, Chance was on top of it and even offered some to go cups for our ride to Daytona. Super chill vibe, definitely will be coming back here.

Had the fish sandwich today and it was Wahoo and it was so good, had to write a review! Mine was grilled perfectly and my hubby had his fried also really good. Usually we come here for Sunday breakfast and I get the eggs Benedict. Very friendly here, nice service and good food and drinks. You can sit at the bar and eat also if you want.

Came in to have a quick bite and watch a little football. The place was packed upstairs and every game playing was televised somewhere in here.. We figured they'd be slammed in the kitchen, but I kid you not when I say they had our drinks and food out in no time at all.. Austin was our server and I can only say if you have anyone going into the service industry they should visit and attempt to emulate him.. The best service we've had in St Augustine, and I can tell you we get around to all the bars locally. Great job

Service is outstanding! The food was delicious! We stopped after a walk on the beach, perfect place for a Bloody Mary, a beer & a bite to eat. BEST Guinness in the state of Florida!! Everyone is so friendly, we felt like we were in the owner’s living room. Kim did a great job chatting, suggesting what’s best to order and getting the food out. You can tell this is a well run and very organized operation. If you’re wondering where to stop whether breakfast, lunch or dinner…this is the place! The fish was so fresh and cooked perfectly. The servings are huge, you will not leave hungry. Great place to take a date or a large family. Can’t say enough about Oasis! Love it! :-)

Visited on a Friday morning and had no wait for our party of 3. It has a pretty cool atmosphere however it kind of smelled of oysters since it is an oyster bar after all. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly! I highly recommend people give this place a try!

The ham and cheese omelette my husband ordered was very good . I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was nice and hot but the biscuits were either over-baked or a day old . I couldn’t even cut them with a knife. The bacon was crispy and good but I def would not recommend the biscuits and gravy. I told the server, who was very nice , and she offered to get me another plate but you can only assume the whole pan would be the same :/

Nearly five stars ... but they had run out of some of their specials right before we arrived and their fried Gator tail appetizer was only so-so. The loaded baked potato looked amazing. The other specials were delicious. Their wait staff was friendly.

I got a spinach and feta omelette, biscuit, and cubed potatoes. I enjoyed the omelette and the spinach seemed fresh so that was good. The biscuit was huge but was a little too overdone for my own personal taste. The potatoes were ok. The girl working the Monday morning breakfast was personable and friendly. I would definitely go back

We had great service. Our table ordered a kids burger meal, blackened chicken, fish tacos, and shrimp tacos. My only complaint is about the shrimp tacos. They tasted good, but there were only 3 pieces of shrimp on each taco.

The portion was bigger than I expected..the loaded bake potato was crazy good..the two pieces of fried fish was very thick and big pieces, onion rings were just perfectly fried. The shrimp and scallops were seasoned well and they were juicy..everything was just great thanks to Bailey our server..she was very busy but still had the time to make sure our drinks were filled and we had all we needed..great experience here at the oasis.

Food was great, especially the fish dip. Chips seem to be a little tough. I got NY strip very good. My husband had grilled fish sandwich, he said was really good.

My husband and I went for a Friday morning breakfast. The service was great, the prices were great, and we needed fast service and they delivered! Waffle was Gluten free chocolate chip, pancake was regular chocolate chip BACON! so good!

To be fair we had a new server. Food wasn't great. Seemed like they ran across the street to Winn-Dixie and grabbed seafood out of the freezer. Drinks tasted like it had 0% alcohol. The atmosphere was cool but that's about it. For a family of 6 it was almost 200.00.

Heard about this world famous restaurant in St. Augustine Florida. Well it's not our waitress Bailey Boo was not very friendly. She took our order. We had 3 pieces if chicken and a Philly steak sandwich. It was awful. When we got the check she could see we hadn't eaten hardly any at all. Did not even ask how are dinner was or why we hadn't eaten any. Just left the check for us to pay. I do not recommend this place. I guess some people don't know what good food is.

Just came for a quick lunch. The service was outstanding! Food was good, ordered the fish dip which was delicious. Please get the key lime pie, it was outrageously good!

So we came in on a very busy night tonight and before we even sat down we were warned the kitchen was backed up as they were having one of their busiest nights. We were in no rush so we sat down. Drinks from the bar were great, smoked fish dip was off the chain. Coconut shrimp was crispy, juicy, and flavorful. There was not a staff member in sight that was slacking. Every single staff member from kitchen to upper management were moving as fast as they could to fulfill orders in a timely manner. Every seat in the place was filled and they were still taking take out orders as well. Hats off to everyone that was on shift 6/10/23

We had breakfast and the food was amazing!!! The omelettes were made to perfection, the breakfast potatoes were delicious, the chicken and waffles were some of the best we've had, the hollandaise sauce was absolute heaven and tasted homemade, and the biscuits are huge and so good. A fun, rustic beach environment, but they keep everything clean. When you go, ask for Dani as your server, she took exceptional care of us and gave us top notch service, she went over and above to make sure we had a great experience! We will absolutely be back!

The food was so good and reasonably priced, we ate here 3 times during our 5-day stay. Breakfast eggs, potatoes, corned beef hash, bacon all cooked perfectly. Steak & Philly and Pot Roast sandwiches were wonderful. Fries were made WHEN we ordered them and were hot and crisp. Wasn't a fan of the nachos - not enough tomatoes or onions and chicken was chunked, not shredded. But we went on Thursday and thoroughly enjoyed the Trivia Contest. Service was great and so were the cocktails. Nice folks to chat with.
