I never write reviews but felt it was really important to do so on this occasion. The Rebello is a truly beautiful hotel, the location is perfect for relaxing a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city. All the staff are wonderful, always going above and beyond to help, always with a smile. The massage, the breakfast, the cocktails - everything was perfect. I highly recommend you go and enjoy this hotel. The view across the Douro river from our room will stay with me forever.

This is a five star hotel on the edge of the Rebeiro de Gaia riverfront. It is walking distance to the great port warehouses as well of many restaurants and tasting rooms. The spa is brand new and beautiful with an indoor pool and sauna. I recommend the Rebello spa package. The rooftop restaurant has great views and excellent cocktails. If you have pizza ask for their homemade hot sauce made with Carolina Reaper peppers. This is an excellent and new hotel which joins their sister hotel (the Vintage in Lisbon).

The location of the Rebello is spectacular with unrivalled views. The rooms are stylish and spacious with thoughtful touches. Breakfast is delicious with lots of options. But the best feature of the Rebello is undoubtedly the staff. The second leg of our holiday went wrong and we needed to return to the hotel unexpectedly. They welcomed us back like family and went out of their way to save our holiday. They helped us find beaches, booked us tickets to FC Braga and made my birthday feel extra special. We would like to say a massive thank you to Miguel who is an exceptional person. We hope to see you again one day very soon šŸ™

Absolutely incredible 4 night stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like prized guests. Front desk employees were phenomenal and helped us with anything we needed, the restaurant and bar staff were just as attentive and kind, and the spa technicians too!! Truly, we could believe how incredible our stay was, it made us never want to leave the hotel. The location is fabulous because you are across the River from Porto (about a 20 minute walk) so you donā€™t have to deal with the somewhat overwhelming crowds of Porto. There is a boardwalk from the hotel that takes you all the way to the ocean and they rent out E-bikes that make such an awesome trip out to the coastal towns. The rooftop bar is a must visit, great views of Porto and awesome drinks and food. The spa is a must-do. Claudia gave me the best hot stones massage of my life and my mom had rave reviews of the Rebello ritual. The pool is small but nice for a quick dip and there is a sauna attached to the pool room! The breakfast included with our stay was by far a highlight. The servers there were unbelievably kind and friendly and the food was incredible! So much to choose from and lots of unique items to try. Our room was a one bedroom suite and it was perfect for two people. It had a kitchen and a separate living room. Lots of restaurants near the hotel without having to go into Porto. There is the WOW museum close by which is fun for a rainy day. This hotel is a MUST STAY. If youā€™re thinking about it, do it. You will not regret it. Special shout out to Miguel at the front desk, Vanessa, Fatima, and Annabelle(may have that wrong) in dining, and the wonderful sandy-blonde young lady at the front desk who regretfully I didnā€™t get the name of. You made our trip a very special one and we are so grateful. Thank you!!

We had a great time at the Rebello. The staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful, specially Miguel who showed us around and helped us and SofĆa, the waiter at the rooftop restaurant. The restaurant at the rooftop was great and so was the food, drinks and the waiters. The rooms were really nice with a great view and really nice decorated also with a great selection of books to read during your stay. highly recommend coming here under any circumstances.

Amazing new hotel, with the best view of Porto as you can see the whole bridge. Really comfortable big rooms and excellent value for money. Cannot recommend enough! Easy to go to town by uber, 15-20 minutes. If not, a trip with the nearby cable car is a great way to start exploring Porto.

Stayed at The Rebello in October with my six year old, husband and mom, and WOW. This hotel surpassed expectations in terms of aesthetic and hospitality. The location is great in Gaia, we loved walking across the bridge to get to Porto, and Ubers are very cheap if you donā€™t want to walk each time. The staff couldnā€™t be more helpful and Oh My God the pool. It was amazing and so so zen. They have kids times and we were there twice a day. Itā€™s truly one of the best spa pools Iā€™ve been to. The rooms are perfection - extremely high end finishings, great bed, large suite. We had an amazing view and felt like a luxurious apartment. They gave us complimentary wine and soda the first day and the mini bar items are priced well. The only downside is that the hotel doesnā€™t have a coffee bar / area, or just a place to grab a small pastry in the morning, or snack during the day. You must pay the price of the full breakfast to grab even a tiny bite. The food at the restaurant was good but slightly overpriced compared to other restaurants nearby. The rooftop bar views are spectacular and drinks / cocktails were great. I would stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gaia / Porto!

Where to startā€¦ despite a rainy vacation in Porto we had such a great stay (probably the best hotel we stayed at). The hotels style, the view, the rooms decor and size, the amenities, the restaurants (used both a lot), the food (quality and well made) šŸ¤¤, the spa šŸ’†šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø (get a relaxing massage and use the pool and sauna). And the people are every single one helpful individuals that are both personal and professional. You donā€™t see hierarchy and managers, but employees that take great pride in their job and workplace. Christina, Claudia, Pedro, Daniela, Mariana, Rui, and all of your colleagues - thanks for making our stay warm and enjoyable. See you again.

Iā€™ve stayed in some nice places in my life, but Rebello is definitely waaay up top of being one of the best hotels Iā€™ve stayed at! We actually just extended our stay because we love it here so much that we donā€™t want to leave! I think our room is twice the size of my apartment at homeā€¦ I just love that everything in this hotel smells so good, the atmosphere is top notch (chill, relaxed, kind) and the staff is simply outstanding. Everyone we have met in team Rebello is motivated, sweet and truly kind! Every detail in the hotel js so well thought through, from the scented towels you find on your pillow with turndown service to the soaps in your room.. the spa and sauna are lovely too! Views from the hotel and rooftop terrace is great too, as well as the pizzas there. Oh and breakfastā€¦ donā€™t get me started on breakfast!! Weā€™re still here, but I canā€™t wait to come back!

The Rebello Hotel in Porto de Gaia is, without exception, the best hotel in which I have ever had the pleasure of staying. And that is saying something as in my long career as a United States Foreign Service Officer, I have stayed in countless hotels. I wish there was a way to give it more than a mere 5 stars. My friend wanted to take me to Porto, Portugal for my milestone birthday in mid October to visit a friendā€™s ancestral winery. So we booked the Rebello Hotel which was nearby the winery. I spoke with reservations, telling them that we would just be there for a couple of days celebrating my milestone birthday. The hotel staff retrieved us from the train station and took us to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were treated like visiting royalty and shown to our room. The room was amazing, with a view of Porto and Gaia and the river. The room itself was gorgeous, with a modern industrial vibe that is so clean and fresh. But what blew me away was the excellent bottles of red and white wine, birthday cake (thankfully only 1 candle šŸ˜‰) and a heartfelt note written by Miguel, the hotels general manager. In the minibar and little kitchenette they had prepared lovely little snacks for us. Gratis. It was the most lovely birthday surprise ever. The next two days were wonderful. We ate at the rooftop restaurant and luxuriated in the amazing views. And when it was time to leave, the hotel arranged for our transport back to the train station. In a service industry like the hotel business, customer service is everything. And the Rebello went above and beyond!

Amazing experience from beginning to end. Everything is well thought and the service is not only great but always kind and warm. The rooms and hotel are beautiful, the breakfast is great, the spa is serene and the location provides an amazing view of Porto. I only hope that they keep opening hotels for us to visit!

We had a wonderful stay at the Rebello. It was my fifth time in Porto and I have to say it was the best hotel I have been to in this city so far. The staff was extremely nice and helpful in so many ways. We loved the spa, the gym, the spacious & well equipped room, the 2 restaurants on site, the view on the river and old town, and the facilities, especially the kids room ! That was a real asset as we were travelling with our baby. Even the baby cot provided in the room was super comfortable ! The general interior design of the hotel was also very pleasant. Also the rates in low season are totally worth it. Probably one of my best hospitality experience ever ! Thanks a lot, we will be back and definitely recommend you to anyone going to Porto.
