Loved it. You had us at hello. Lol. Manager great. Isabel great. Caterina great. Such lovely staff. Rooms maybe could have tea and coffee making facilities but that's our opinion. Light switches took a bit of getting used to also. And the electric curtains! Breakfast each day was a joy. So close to the river. Had booked another hotel higher up but decided we preferred to spend I little extra to be where were situated and were happy with our decision. One day we will come back to lovely Porto and stay in the same lovely hotel. One year old apparently. Congratulations team Icon Duplo. Thanks.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Well located hotel and close to so many things. Location wise it gets a 5 star. Service is also amazing. Very well trained service crew. Polite, helpful, accommodating, service focused … WOW!!!! Loved the large windows in the rooms. I could literally stand ‘in the window’. Loved the way old construction and new features were paired. Huge thanks to Sergio! He made the check in at this hotel so easy and amazing.

Great place to stay in Porto. The hotel has two buildings. Traditional side and new addition. We stayed in the new side. Highly recommended, the company is a chain with hotels in Spain and Portugal. Will look for them next time I travel to that region. Staff service was excellent made the stay great.

Stayed at ICON in late December and had an excellent experience. Staff was very friendly, and rooms were spacious for European standards with a wonderful aesthetic / finishes. Location is right off the water which is great for sunsets and a quick drink. Do know that Porto is very hilly, so from this location there is a decent amount of uphill walking to get to the sites / shops!

We will choose this hotel next time too. Best possible location, staff, maintenance, and breakfast. Nice, quiet room, enough place for your belongings, great bed. Wonderful work, you beautiful people at Icon!!

What made our trip to Porto so memorable? While the city itself is undoubtedly a treasure, so is the ICON Duplo Ribeira. From the kindness and attentiveness of Inês at the front desk to Fernando's expert supervision of the sumptuous breakfast buffet, I couldn't recommend this stellar hotel more highly. And our room was drop-dead gorgeous... sleek, modern, chic, and comfortable with dramatic lighting. We look forward to our return visit!

Had a really great stay here. The hotel is very well located near the centre of the city and a very useful tram stop. The room was very spacious and well presented, much larger then we expected given the price. The staff were extremely helpful when I left my wallet in my room, posting it back to the UK for me with no delays. Thanks for a great stay.

Immaculate, modern room. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with a wide selection of breads, pastries, fruit, beverages, eggs, etc... Friendly, attentive and efficient staff. A short walk to the river. Many restaurants within a a block or two. We're glad to have selected the ICON Duplo Ribeira.

The hotel was fine, with good location, and good breakfast. But first they gave us a room, with not a good window (it had a view to another wall, not to the street), but we paid for a room with normal window. The next day we told our problem at the front desk and they changed our room to a good one.

This hotel was amazing and quickly became our favorite hotel we've been to. It's location was perfect, in the middle of everything and close to the river without being close enough for the noise to be bothersome. The staff were incredible, from the personal tour of the building, to the impressive breakfast service. We were in the traditional side of the hotel and the room was absolutely stunning, pristine, and the most comfortable hotel room we've stayed in. It was very large and had every little thing you could need. The TV did not work but this was not an issue for us and I have no doubt they would have been helpful if we brought it up. I did not want to leave this beautiful property!

Polite personel, Clean and comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast. Location is perfect, on the heart of Porto. There was no view from the room.

The location is ideal. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and the most comfy bed and sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. After staying in numerous places in Porto this was the best one for sure!
