Actually nice apartment in a good and quiet place. The only “problem” is that the rooms is not Feng Shui. For me it’s quite difficult to sleep “feet to the door” and also at night, a fluorescent "cross" on the closet glows opposite the bed. This indicates a first aid kit, but it still looks really creepy. But otherwise the hotel is great. So if you are not one of the suspicious people, and the problems I have described do not bother you, then I can safely recommend :)

We had a duplex apartment with two bedrooms for 4 people including a toddler. The apartments were very lovely, bright and clean. There were a number of other families staying when we were there which was nice to see. Everything is quite walkable from the location but you can catch the metro if you want as well. We got the breakfast however it was a bit repetitive after a few days and if I stayed again I think I would self cater. The breakfast is mostly rolls, fruit and some yogurt. We didn’t need it but there was onsite parking available. The only thing was the wifi seemed quite slow for us. Not sure if that was a capacity issue or not but it only seemed to work late at night.

Very late (1 AM) check-in was smooth - received all the details in a message and checked in with reception stuff in the morning. The garden view is fine, the balcony stays cool in the morning and will only get warmer in the afternoon as it's facing west. The photographs are accurate - the apartment itself was spacious, clean and well equipped. The wi-fi was also very good, no problems working or watching a streaming show in the evening. The garden features sun beds and a clean pool, some parking spots available on the property as well. The building has a no-step entry and there is an elevator. The staff we also up to the task, very communicative and helpful. The location is little out of the way from the usual tourist spots, on a quiet street, keep in mind however, Porto is a very walkable city and it took us only around 15 minutes to get down to Luis I bridge. Quite large and new Continente and a metro station just 5 minutes walk away on the Campo 24 de Agosto. Could be priced a little more competitively for my taste, still quite affordable.

A lot of room. The breakfast fill up our refrigirator and was so big. The pool and surrounding was perfect for chilling and cooling for the kids. Not far away from the center of the city. We walked over the bridges with our children 7 and 10 years old. So it felt like the perfect place for us.

Great Aparthotel, clean and spacious rooms with brilliant wifi, air-con and a balcony. The pool and sauna were lovely options to have and the location is ideal. Check in and out was very easy and information given was helpful and useful.

The room is extremely dirty and smells like cigarettes everyday. The facilities like sofa, bed and toilet are in bad conditions, need to be updated. Walls are so thin that you can hear everything from the corridor and the other rooms. The receptionists aren't helpful. House keeping service comes at 17:00, the organisation is so bad. If you want to enjoy Porto, do yourself a favour and choose another place.

I recently stayed at the Aparthotel Oporto Anselmo and I was very pleased with the experience. The hotel was conveniently located within a 10 minute walking distance to the city center and there was a market just around the corner. The price was also very reasonable. Additionally, there were several metro stations nearby which made it easy to get around. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
