The room we stayed was so brilliantly renovated that we can only marvel at the sense and creativity of the owners. It was a wonderful and exciting experience as if we were in a luxury hotel. Diana was very quick to respond and caring in leaving handwritten notes with restaurant recommendations. When we met her at the reception she was friendly and energetic, and I thought that she is one of the persons who made this house a wonderful place to stay. The fact that breakfast is included is also highly appreciated. All the bread was amazingly delicious and it was nice that there was hot milk. The only slight requests for improvement would be that it would have been nice to have hot dishes like scrambled eggs for breakfast and that it would've been useful if the front door of the guesthouse had a handle as it was a bit difficult to close properly. I would wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse. Thank you!

Mo House was the best choice. Choose the room with river view and you will not regret it. I could sit there on the sofa for hours, watching the river, the boats and the seagulls. But the room itself was so beautiful and the whole interior of Mo House.The location couldn’t be better, so close to everything. You can also find very good foodplaces nearby. And the last but very important fact: our host was so helpful, sooo lovely and friendly and always available for us when we needed sth. I would def recommend Mo House and would always come back.

Fantastic accommodation, highly recommended. We received a warm welcome and great recommendations on where to go, what to see and a list of great local restaurants. The building is beautifully redone and the rooms are stunning. Luxurious bedding and towels. The river facing rooms have exceptional views over the city! Breakfast was included and it was absolutely delicious. 10/10, would definitely book here again.

Mo House was an absolute gem! The staff was helpful during check in and also assisted with getting us a cab to the airport upon our departure. The rooms are very spacious and clean as well as cozy. Thank you!

We spent a lovely night in September at Mo House. It’s ever bit as lovely as it looks in the photos. Beautifully renovated and a very handy location. We had lovely views of the city from our balcony. Nuno was a great host, he gave us some excellent recommendations. My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer, I’d definitely come bank next time I am in Porto.

This guest house was a highlight of our trip. We were in Room 3 which had an amazing view of the river and the town. The location is great, kind of in the middle of everything yet quiet enough to be peaceful. We loved opening our windows to enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the activity and seagulls outside. Breakfast was good and included fresh fruit and orange juice in addition to breads, yogurt, meat, cheese, pastries. If we are lucky enough to return to Porto we will stay at Mo House again. Note: there are only 9 rooms so we didn't always see someone at the front desk but when we wrote by email we always got a quick response.

Literally my favorite place I’ve ever stayed anywhere! I want to live at Mo House! The rooms are beautifully decorated, lots of white floors and antiques. The renovation of the former monastery was gorgeous, and it’s centrally located. The hosts are wonderful, the morning breakfasts were very yummy! And you can’t beat the views!

Best place in Porto! I have been there mulitple times now in different rooms and I will always come back when I am in Porto. The house is gorgeous, the rooms are awesome and very clean, breakfast especially the cafe is great and the stuff is courteous and super friendly. The location is also perfect. There are many restaurants and bar, the river is 2 minutes away of walking and the view is outstanding. I can recommand Mo House to anyone who wants to spend a great time in Porto.

I had an amazing stay here. Absolutely beautiful room, and the staff were fantastic with great recommendations for food and drink, and anything else you might need. I plan on coming back forsure!

This place is pretty magical! I have stayed at over 100 hotels and this is one of the best! If you like bohemian style this is the place for you! We were upgraded to room number 9 on the top floor and it is an awesome room. We have 2 young children and they absolutely loved the little room with a loft!! The views from the room are pretty awesome..you can see the Douro river and a lot of the city. The host Diana is amazing! So helpful, she draws out on a map all of the best places to visit. We didn't plan this trip as well as we should have but I feel like she did it for us! The only downfall is parking but anyplace you stay with this good of location you will have the same issue.. its really not a big deal to be honest! Mo house is walking distance to a lot of the attractions and great places to eat. Will stay there again next time we visit!!

Fantastic accommodation. We stayed in room 9 - super cozy and breathtaking view from the big bedroom window. The breakfast is amazing - high quality stuff. Diana and the rest of the staff were super kind and friendly, and the whole place is beautifully decorated. You’re right in the center but on a quiet street. 100% recommended!

Fantastic boutique hotel just minutes from River Douro. It’s in the heart of Porto, walking distance to many of Porto’s best attractions. Staff was kind and helpful. We stayed in room nine at the very top and our big window looked out over the river, the Bridge, the tram ride, the wine cellars, and more. Our room included, a kitchenette and separate sleeping accommodations for our daughters. The room was very, very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast l. There was not a big spread, however, MO Guesthouse offered everything that bigger hotels offer just on a smaller scale. For me, it was a 5 star experience.

Was am meisten gestört hat, ist die Hellhörigkeit : man hat im Zimmer von drüber JEDEN Schritt gehört (knarzendes und quitschendes Holz) und Gespräche. Keine Flexibilität: wir wollten Frühstück vom Abreisetag auf den Anreisetag tauschen: war nicht möglich, obwohl wir zeitig da waren und das Buffet noch aufgebaut, hat sich uns nicht erschlossen. So haben wir einmal für nichts bezahlt wg. frühem Rückflug. Inkludiertes Frühstück ohne große Auswahl: mehrere Tage jeweils eine Sorte Käse und Wurst, immer gleich. Insgesamt Preis/Leistungsverhältnis deutlich zu hoch. LAGE vom Haus: wirklich TOP

Rooms are large, the view is fantastic, and the service is simply outstanding. Sebastian find above and beyond. And the buffet breakfast was absolutely perfect.

I can't recommend this boutique hotel enough! Arrival was very easy and helpful as we received a lot of recommendations for things to see/places to eat. The room was absolutely gorgeous and had an amazing view of the city. The included breakfast was just the cherry on top with bread, made to order eggs, jams, cereals, and more! If I go back to Porto, I will definitely be staying here.

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed here in November. I loved the experience - within a 20 minute walk of everything we wanted to see. Our suite had a mini kitchen, a cute separate bedroom for the kids, and a bedroom/living room area for the grownups. The biggest bathroom even had a claw foot tub! The space has old world charm while still having contemporary amenities. The breakfast was superb as well. Would definitely return.

It is more than our expectations especially, great services by Sebaschan who helped us a lot. Room has great views of River and clean.

This place was just great. The reception area is sleek and trendy, something which is mirrored throughout this gem of a hotel. The reception staff were welcoming and accommodated our request for an early check in. The room was spotless and the bed was huge! We will definitely be back to stay again without a shadow of a doubt.

Had to change my reservation date many days in advance. No deal. No refund. No credit, even though they could easily have sold the night to some other customer.

We LOVED Mo House, everything about it, the rooms, the location, the decor, the breakfasts, the small kitchenette and room for the children and mostly Diana who helped us from the moment of booking to a last minute rearranging of taxis, she made our stay so easy and enjoyable and we are very grateful, we can’t wait to stay again!

Stayed in room 5 overlooking the Douro. Beautiful space we did not want to leave. The service was excellent, the space gorgeous, the breakfast lovely, the location ideal. There is an old style clawfoot tub in room 5, which I thought was charming. Others may not fancy.

I loved everything about MoHouse in Porto. The building was restored and was beautiful. Diana the owner was exceptional. She greeted us upon arrival and was there to answer any questions we had with great restaurant recommendations close by. Our room, #9 was exceptional with the most beautiful decor and views onto the sea with the terracotta roofs in the foreground. The bed and bedding was amazing and we slept so well. Our breakfast was prepared with love, fresh fruits, meat, cheese, homemade jams, (the pumpkin was my favourite), and fresh yogurt. I would highly recommend a stay here when in Porto. The location was very convenient as well.

Small guest house with spectacular views day and night from higher rooms. Our host Diana was super helpful with all aspects or our stay, we used a couple of her restaurant recommendations and they did not disappoint. We were really impressed with Mo House, if we go back to Porto any time soon we know there is only one place to stay. Our room was comfortable and spacious, service was great and the included breakfast was delicious.

Mo House is one of the most memorable accomodations I’ve stayed at in my European travels. Diana is an excellent hostess and cares deeply about making you feel comfortable (not to mention every corner of the guest house is the most beautiful vignette). Her restaurant recommendations are also unbeatable. It truly feels like home!

Perfect location and accomodation. Everything’s just perfect and shows the attention they pay to detail and to making your stay the best possible. The breakfast is awesome and the rooms very spacious, comfortable and clean. Everything is a short walk away, and Diana’s recommendations were spot on. We just keep coming back to Mo House - it is a perfect place to stay on every level - so beautiful and very clean and in such a great location - we are slowly trying every room !! It is one of our favourite places that we have discovered on our travels around the world. It is an absolute gem and the staff so helpful. We will be back again and again
