What a find!!! We have just returned home from a four night stay at the Virtudes City Lofts. The building was spotlessly clean and our room exceeded our expectations. The only problem is that there isn't an elevator in the building. Veronica at the front desk was very helpful in helping us plan our four day stay in Porto.

One of the best stays we had in Portugal!! The room is huge, the bed and pillows are comfy. location is amazing minutes to walk uphill and downhill. Great Resturtant around here. Highly recommended!!

Very welcoming and friendly, ideally positioned in Porto for everything. We had a lovely stay, great bed and lovely staff running the lofts. Great bars and restaurants really nearby.

Absolutely breathtaking room…Veronica will go out of her way to help you in any way possible. Super clean with all you need in the apartment. Beautiful views and easily accessible to the river. Can’t wait to come back!!!

We had a very enjoyable stay here in November. The loft apartment has a beautiful view of the city and some of the river. The room was clean, spacious and modern. The bed was comfortable and there was an iron and ironing board in the room. We were given complimentary water and wine and the items in the minibar were very well priced. All the staff were every friendly.

Great location, sparkly clean, and inviting. Even a bottle of wine was there for us. Veronica is amazing to communicate with. Highly recommend! 10*!

Super nice location and facility manager. And also the room is really spacious. We left our stuff in the hotel accidentally, but they handled immediately and send it to us. Highly recommended.

Fantastic apartment with great location. Very clean and spacious. Extremely convenient with keyless entry to the building and unit. Note there is no elevator. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

This place and our host Veronica were fantastic! She had the room ready earlier so we could check in early. The room had a kitchenette with everything required to cook. She also walked us through all the sightseeing around downtown Porto. The place is in a great location, about 10-15 mins of uphill/downhill walking will get you to most places. Overall, a great place to stay - thank you Veronica!

We are staying at one of these loft apartments currently and we absolutely love it! The location is perfect; restaurants, bars, cafes, mini mart, and shops are just steps away from the residence. You can walk everywhere. The view from residence 31 is gorgeous. The place is super clean and very comfortable. The decor is beautiful. The owner, Veronica, is very friendly and helpful.

Veronica is really nice, contacted us way before our stay with all the neccessary info and organized the transport to the airport for us. The place is charming, enjoyed our stay a lot, unfortunately it was only for two nights, being part of a longer journey. Would definitely stay here again when revisiting Porto. Welcome drink is a nice gesture, fridge is filled with all the goodies at a fair price if you choose to have something. Location is great, everything is close by at a walking distance. You might want to wear comfortable shoes though as you will be climbing a lot :). No daily cleaning though, some might consider this as a negative. For our short stay it was not an issue. Also it is very easy to accidentally close the balcony door and as there is no key there you need to be careful. The view is really nice with some noisy seagulls :), but it adds to the experience.

This loft is an exceptional find in the centre of Porto. There is a fabulous view to watch the sunset just steps away from the loft. Veronica was exceptional in going out of her way to accommodate us. The suite was modern, equipped, and spotlessly clean.

Very modern and clean apartment within the best location to a super fair price. Easy access via codes. So you don’t need to arrange for check in times. On top - the host is a very friendly and welcoming lady! The pic is the street view.

The room was just a pictured and the beds comfortable. The hostess was very accommodating for me and my friend from Spain. For the price, the quality and location of these apartments are very worth it (also as an American, the AC is very much appreciated after a long day of climbing hilly Porto).

Lovely apartment, location was perfect. Restaurants, cafes and bars around. They let us borrow one of their bikes for a city ride. We really recommend this place if you visit Porto!

I stayed here for 11 days recently and had a great time. Virtudes is immaculately clean and housekeeping was very responsive and attentive if I needed anything. The suite was spacious and the amenities modern. The location is fabulous - just far way enough from the tourist sections to give an authentic experience but close enough to be not more than a short walk (10 to 15 minutes) from all the attractions or the Sao Bento metro station if I wanted to venture farther from the historic core. The walks can be uphill on narrow streets but that just added to the local charm. The hotel is situated right at the Miradouro do Passeio das Virtude which is a famous local vantage point to watch the sunset. There are little sidewalk cafes restaurants, including a well known local eatery Tabernacle Santo Antonio. I was fortunate to catch one of these sunsets and really caught a glimpse of local Porto life. Véronica was a gracious host and was easily reachable and responsive. I would definitely recommend Virtudes for a stay with more local flavour in Porto. Would definitely stay there again next time in Porto.

Central location with it's ups and downs. Veronica was a great host! Our room was actually much larger than we had anticipated so it was nice to spread out. She gave us great recommendations for food -- even if we didn't end up visiting those places. There were many great places to eat / drink within a couple of km. The wifi could be better but was usable. We only got 4 espresso pods, which isn't really enough for a 3 night stay, but there were coffee shops quite close by. The included bottle of wine was a nice touch :) Another small complaint about the room itself was that the hot water ran out rather quickly, so we would have to wait some time between each person taking a shower. One night, the restaurant across the street had its alarm go off for hours, but that doesn't have much to do with the hotel itself. Note, there is no elevator! So if you cannot carry your bags, pack lighter or look elsewhere.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Virtudes City Lofts. Veronica was wonderful in connecting with us the moment we booked to share the confirmation and welcome message. A week before our trip to Porto, Veronica sent us info on all the check in details and also checked if we want to use a shuttle service to get us from airport to the loft. We ended up deciding to take the metro into the city to the lofts. Super close walking distance to the metro and main attractions in Porto. The only thing is it is up on a hill so remember to bring comfortable walking shoes. We got the studio and it was a lot more space than I expected and super clean. We also loved the complementary bottle of red wine and water jug that was left for us. I highly recommend this loft to anyone travelling to Porto and I look forward to staying here again.

Perfect apartment in a quiet but with a few wonderful cafes close by- wonderful comfy apt with great beds, pillows, complimentary bottle of wine and a small sitting area, historic building yet isdie it is modern and super clean inside, when back in Porto ! I will stay here again definitely recommend,

I stayed 2 night in the room on 3 floor. The room has a very nice view and is very spacious, and everything including cooking utensils is perfectly equipped~ Very warmly welcomed and kind~ I would highly recommend it to my acquaintances~

Best room, friendly service, best location. Thanks to her room, where everything was perfect, we were able to enjoy the best honeymoon. I was grateful to the pleasant and kind housekeeper, and I could laugh every morning thanks to her. Veronica's accommodation is recommended for everyone visiting Porto.

Amazing experience especially for me and my family’s first time in Portugal. Its location is perfect especially for walking around and touring the beautiful city of Porto. The room was spotless and was comfortable enough to make us feel at home. The service was excellent and Veronica went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay and made sure we were able to navigate around Porto without any trouble. Would recommend this to anyone going to Porto and looking for a place to stay!
