Probably my favourite attraction in Porto. Incredible travelling through the streets on such an old machine. A steal too at €6 for a return ticket. Card payment and cash accepted on board. Takes you from the City almost all the way to the ocean.

I really enjoyed this! Very atmospheric and evocative but also efficient. It got us to Foz de Douro & back into central Porto above ground rather than using the metro. Great views as you travel along the side of the Douro river. €6 return.

Historic tram tour only €3,50 for a single ride. It was great fun to take this tour. The tram is more than 100 years old, it’s loud and makes a lot of strange noises. Which makes it even more fascinating still to be able to ride it today. Highly recommend to try it.

Great way to get to the ocean from Porto. We caught one train outbound down near the royal McDonald's which took us within a few hundred yards of the ocean. We wandered the coast all afternoon then caught the alternate tram back, which dropped us up town near the cathedral. We walked to the mercado and picked up dinner then back to our apartment. Great deal for just a few Euro round trip.

No view at all, you cant see anything if you’re on the rightside or in the middle.

Tram ride was decent, and it was on time. Eventhough it costed €3.50 for one way and it was overcrowded, It's probably not the best experience you're going to have in Porto

A beautiful little ride on an old authentic tram, it went all along The Duoro river until we reached the sea. A perfect way to see Porto & was only 7 euros for a return ticket 🎟. Brilliant just brilliant 👏

Piece is 5 euros pp, have limited seats which have sea view, recommended to try when you are in porto, directly take you to the beach.

It was an interesting ride, but nothing spectacular. Maybe if we were sitting it would be better experience. Anyway, a nice attraction to take you to the ocean :)

Loved riding this traditional tram all the way along the river to the estuary and the Ocean. I spent time in the area to walk, drinks and lunch and then made the return trip ...all for 7€ . It's great value.

An old street car which connects the central parts of Porto with the outer beach areas. This is a tourist attraction and not the fastest or most comfortable public transportation. But it is a beautiful old and charming vehicle none the less. If you want to follows the river Douro along to the outer parts of town or the beach I would recommend you getting a two way ticket for 7€. If you just want to move around the City quickly I would recommend the Bus 500 (but be prepared to stand around in a traffic jam half of the time)

Ugh... Where do I begin, this place received 2 star simply for beautiful location and aesthetic. Everything else is a nightmare service is incredibly slow. Food is not only bad but the chef must be depraved. You must literally wait for your main course before your appetitizer. The milkshake they serve is literally can milk poured into margarita glass?.. terrible location do yourself a favor and skip this mess. Was served raw lamb bloody and cold

Tourist trap, there is a reason why trams were phased out, they are slow, uncomfortable and limited views. Far better to catch bus 500, which is a double decker, comfortable, fast and great views from upstairs. It departs from São Bento and takes 40 minutes to matosinhos market, and costs €1.20 with adante card, you can take a picture of the tram as you wizz by.

Absolutely horrible. We bought two tickets to travel one stop and then be forced to change to a different tram that was already absolutely packed with people. I understand that there might have been a break, that happens, but I cannot believe that there would be no other alternative. Ended up a waste of money PLUS the money for a taxi on top. I was very excited to go, but my excĂtelas very quickly spoiled by horrible service.

A great way to get to the coast. Definitely rickety, but full of character. Best to get on at the first stop, as can fill up, and definitely better to sit than stand (easier to see out of the window).

We only did a small part of this tram line. However, it was quite fun and gave us a bit of a break on walking in the sun on the waterfront.

A nice tourist jaunt to take from the city centre to Foz, where you can walk along the sea and take in a sunset, as well as visiting great restaurants in the area. Be warned: utterly unreliable and often delayed by incorrectly parked cars for example, but a nice way to spend time!

Lovely tram from porto Ribeiro area to the beach area. 3.50€ per trip or 6€ for 2 trips.

Great scenic ride along the river and then onto the beach area. The trams are very comfortable and tickets are reasonable and they run frequently so easy to hop on and off

It's a short ride, but it does take you all the way to the coast and near the lighthouse.

Fun experience with nice view over the river, and sometimes even faster than bus 500 due to traffic

It is an old tram that rides along the Douro river in Porto. It is an experience you can't miss, as well as a cheap way to travel. Loved it!

Great option when on a way for sunset in the harbour. Buy a return ticket!

We took the tram No. 1 from outside the S. Francisco church, and it was worth it. A scenic ride to Foz, and the tram itself was an exciting experience. The reversible seats were really clever - years ahead of high tech!
