We stayed at Boreal from Friday to Monday. The room was very beautiful and tidy. The location is perfect. You can easily walk to all highlights of the city, but the metro is also close by. Next time would certainly choose this place again.

Bruno is one of the best hosts I have had so far. He gave us many recommendations and even if he could not answer directly, he tried to figure out. The room (and also the whole house) was spacious and and lovely decorated. Breakfast was really nice with fresh juice and fruits every. And even on the day we were leaving, we had a very early flight and he prepared some cake and fruits for us. The house is in a quiet area which is nevertheless close to the places you will most likely visit in Porto (15-20 mins walk or 5 mins to Metro). We highly recommend to stay at Boreal Porto Gaia. Never ended up staying here, due to the covid restrictions that were brought in shortly after booking. Spoke to the owner and requested that they move our stay back until it was OK to travel, and in return we wouldn't request a full refund, as we understood times were hard for all, and that we really wanted to visit Porto as soon as it was safe to do so. They offered us half our money back and we'd have to rebook at full cost if we wanted to stay with them. Needless to say we didn't accept that offer. We have recently returned from Porto, as we promised, and had a great time. We booked an alternative hotel and had a great time in Porto, and a great experience with our alternative hotel.

Had a fantastic week in this villa with seven of us taking the whole place over for our stay. It is extremely well equipped and spacious (rooms are all huge) - pool area is perfect too. Bruno the host was very helpful when needed and we really enjoyed our stay here. The place is really well designed with some great features in each room. The location is perfect for a two stop metro ride into the centre of Porto (or a 15 minute walk). We all enjoyed the say very much and thank you to Bruno!

Highly recommend! We had a lovely stay here during our trip to Porto. Bruno is an excellent host and gave us on-point recommendations for local things to do. The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean and spacious. Bruno also provided a wonderful breakfast that was very fresh. If we visit Porto again, we will surely return.

My husband and I stayed at Boreal for 9 days, in September. We had a late check-in but Bruno was still able to meet us and help us in with our luggage. Nothing was too much trouble and Bruno went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Our ensuite room was so clean and although at the front, it was so very quiet. The location was perfect, with everything you need on the doorstep. And walking distance to the river and beyond! Thankyou Bruno, we will be back!
