A beautiful and quiet little family-run restaurant, not too far off the busy Gaia Port House waterfront. Great spot for a quiet and intimate lunch, snack and/ or drink. Great service and amazing in-house, authentic, local food, for very reasonable prices. And don’t let the home-made aesthetic of the cheesecake fool you - it was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had in my life!

Great food in a nice setting with friendly, attentive service. The restaurant is small, good for smaller groups or dates with a nice, friendly feeling inside. The food is served quickly and is quite tasty. Portion size is good. Would recommend if in the area.

It's rare to find a family-good comfort- ridiculously delicious restaurant at a popular tourist block, but this restaurant delivers! Each bite takes you back to your grandmother's kitchen - you may dance too (at least I did). Flavorful, rich, but not greasy which is a plus. Wish I found this earlier in my trip, but I'll be back with my Miami friends!

A little gem of a restaurant in an area of Porto where I feel that location too often takes priority over quality and authenticity. The restaurant has just sixteen covers and a short menu. Owners are welcoming and helpful. I started with homemade fish pate, then chose pork cheeks with fries and salad - the cheeks were meltingly tender, fries crisp and well seasoned, the salad was generous and super fresh. With a set cream dessert, two glasses of wine and a coffee, my bill came to 28 euros.

One of the real gems of Gaia, for a delicious meal, and extraordinarily personable service! The little cafe only seats about a dozen people at a time, and has a totally open kitchen run by two masterful ladies. The dishes were scrumptious, especially the Panna Cotta dessert. Would give 6 stars.

Amazing food, wonderfully nice owner and staff, local dishes with a healthier twist, incredible prices. The cod cakes were light and fluffy, less dense. The rice and beans that the fish came with were SO good. The mushroom, pepper eggs over fries was deceptively good. The wine and wine recommendations were outstanding. Cash only, FYI.

Nice delicious food with good service and clean atmosphere. I had the codfish fritters, the Portuguese meatballs and the chocolate cake with a glass of wine. Everything is reasonably priced, quality of the food is really good and I would definitely come Back to try out some more!

We had a great lunch this afternoon at Cozinha do Ci. A small cozy restaurant on the other side of the Luís bridge. We ordered the Bochechas de Porco (Pork beefcheeks) and the meat was very juicy and tender and went well with the red wine reduction sauce. The salad dressing was subtile and very tasteful. The service was great. Our waitress was really nice and friendly. You can tell this food was made by people with love for food. What a great experience. I highly recommend a visit here.

Order whatever you want, as long as you get the pork cheeks. If you do not order the pork cheeks, you will have missed out on a superb culinary experience. GREAT ambience, service and value! We loved it !

Just came from an excellent dinner! We had all Entradas, pork cheek in red wine reduction with potatoes and salad (incredibly tender meat, really WOW!), spanish eggs with grilled mushrooms and peppers, very fine home made cake with caramele few beers and a coffee. I do recommend all our selection. Chef and owner sooooo nice! The little restaurant (seats 12 maybe) was full 30 minutes after opening. A grand opening to our Camino experience! Thank you!!

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere! Only 6 tables so very boutique style! Truly one of the best places we’ve eaten in Porto! From drinks and starters to mains and desert everything was wonderful! Highly recommend!

Excellent choice! Traditional Portuguese food in a super welcoming space. Great service, delicious food (amazing 'ovos rotos'), and a super calm environment in Vila Nova de Gaia. Prices are affordable. It's not possible to reserve a table in advance, so arrive early as there are few tables. Great surprise. The reviews speak for themselves.

Rarely have I seen a restaurant rated 5/5 on Google but I can understand why. The food was fantastic, very good service and reasonably priced. Menu is relatively limited but all our choices were excellent. Padron peppers and chorizo starters (the chorizo you can cook yourself!), and then cod fritters and pork cheeks in port sauce for main courses. All highly recommended. Well worth a visit.

Very nice restaurant. There are two very cute women working there who give wholehearted service. The menu is not very varied, but there are enough dishes that can please everyone. Very tasty dishes.

Casa food experience in soft atmosphere with a great wine. All starters are amazing! Pork cheeks, oh I’m in love with! Enjoy! Would like to come back before leaving Porto!

Wonderful meal. In a sea of touristy boring riverside restaurants, Cozinha da Ci stands out as an affordable, delicious treat. Small menu focusing on good recipes, you pretty much can't go wrong. Enjoy.

Had to go back for more. Fantastic place proper food cooked by its lovely owner. This place has only 14 covers. All the dishes that we had were super tasty and very reasonable priced. More than a restaurant, it feels like someone's home with delicious honest food. I absolutely loved this place.

Small but delicious spot in Cais da Gaia. Good portion sizes and everything tasted great. Not very busy (which was shocking!). Red wine sangria was tasty, roasted peppers were perfectly cooked, cheese platter was full and tasty. Amazing dinner. Service was polite and quick. Thanks!

Stumbled upon this place while looking for lunch in Gaia. Boy, what a difference from the tourist places on the river! It’s a very small place with a small, high-quality menu. We has the fried green beans, pork cheek, and cod and all were amazing. One of the best meals we’ve had in Portugal or anywhere really. Highly recommended.

👍👍 Delicious food, live music. Here you can see how the dish is prepared. The interior is decorated in red. €15 per set in the photo. The price is a little high for me, but I'm glad I visited this place. They give you a glass and a board. It wasn't crowded. I enjoyed this place!
